was it moving or just sitting in the sky?

that would determine a lot of the concerns (blimp, street light)

personally I don't believe ufos would just hover above our skies for no reason for some human to take pictures of.
there needs to be a motive. I always think of it from their commanders perspective.
you're not going to send out a fleet over a semi-intelligent species homeplanet without a cloaking device, or supersonic speeds to cloak your capabilities, and that's even if you have a mission to complete in the first place (surveillance)

which leaves me with another possibility/conclusion, that a lot of the UFO's are natural energy orbs.

this though could be human lapse of judgement in what the object actually was.

although I believe OP's premise that he/she was out and caught this on photo.

Can you not read? I posted that long before you 'waited up'. The poster stated he is in San Diego (as am I). The Sanyo blimp has been down here the last few weeks. I posted a news article about this as well as a craigslist photo a photographer posted of it as dusk. This is 100% the Sanyo blimp. Your refusal to read the thread not withstanding.

I am sorry. I suppose when I complained that the OP posted a pic of a blimp that you must have been so irate about it not being a flying saucer that you TOTALLY failed to comprehend I was dismayed at the same thing.

My fault completely. Really.

Uh, no, can't say I have. Accidental mega-death, interesting concept.

According to the OP very first post it "shot out of sight" after som observation. That is the OP perception of how the object moved. I agree, UFO´s probably won´t hover in our sky for no reason which leads me to believe that they do have a reason IF they hover in our skies.

On topic! May i remind all those who favor the blimp "theory" that the OP stated in his opening post that the object "shot out of sight". I never seen a blimp move but they doesnt seem capable of shooting out of sight, do they?

also OP stated: he heard no noise other than "random traffic". last time i checked, blimps are quite the noise maker... just saying.

At the distance that shot was from the blimp would have been silent, the most noise would be to the rear.

hmm...

are we sure as to exactly how far away from the object in question the OP was?

i mean, i am no expert but even judging by the distance shown in the photo (given even he was zoomed in a bit) it seems like if it were a blimp he would have heard the thing... i'm just not convinced he was so far away from the thing he would not have heard if it was a blimp... but that's just me.

It was probably a least a few miles from me and yes, I was zoomed in on my phone.

The only noise I heard was from the traffic (automotive) driving by. I was standing on a sidewalk right next to the street.

ok, so if it was a blimp, chances are you would not have heard it...

Each of us must choose our priorities. Others may have chosen saving the human race over dinner. Your mileage varied.

I am so lucky to know that real UFO researchers figured out that abductions stopped happening between the years of 1998 and 2001. Chris O-Brien, the one who wrote Mysterious Valley (a valley miles north of the Dulce base that had numerous unexplainable alien interactions), said that all mysterious events around the valley stopped abruptly in 1998. During this time cattle mutilations begain happening in Argentina and a scientist already found and measured an alien base in the mountains down there similair to how Paul Bennewitz found the Dulce base in 1978. So I know I am not going to be heard, I am just so thankful to know these things, and to know that a whole bunch of people care about a lamp sitting in a dark background (your UFO photo) and not what I know, that just shows how seperate I am from ignorance in the world. I deny ignorance, some of you live it.

Good job, 'intrptr',

The OP's image looks very similar to your blimp image. Same teal-colored tail, same red light, same shape.

You mean it wasn't obvious from the very beginning? I didn't even bother to respond because I thought it was painfully obvious that it was a picture of a lighted blimp and the topic would be dead in a couple of pages. Also, for once I didn't want to be one of those damned debunkers who come in and immediately offer the simple explanation to crap on the OP like some evil person.

No. Is it now? I don't thinks so. The OP pic is an unidentified object.

Period.

I know something has to be happening.

I just saw this on the evening news on channel 8 KFMB in San Diego. I heard them announcing this right before they went to commercial at about 6:45 on PST and shot this pic off my tv about 3 minutes later!!!!

You people are brutal. I swear if I ever do get lucky enough to snap a photo of a ufo, this is the last place on earth I would post it. I'm not saying this is the real deal, but there's nothing definitively showing (in the pic) that proves a deliberate hoax either. And you just jump right in attacking the persons character too.

Well said there are probably many site visitors who have good ufo stories and or pics that just dont want to jump through the hoops of fire you guys put them through. I know you want to get to the bottom of this but damn chill out a bit.

And human alien you seem like one of the biggest believers on this site so to try and discredit someone for using the word amazing is just hilarious.
