I think it's a good idea. Probably would be difficult to oversee. If it's one thing I've learned is that the very few can spoil a good thing for the many and sometimes even take pleasure in doing so.

Very insightful.

Gross violation of T's&C's = Instant total ban. Sorted.

Wow! Thanks for the music.

Imagine the potential for 'world music' and the consequent increase in cross-cultural mutual appreciation & understanding.

Maybe we could end war once and for all.

John Lennon eat your heart out.

Pleased you liked The Levellers, they are probably my favourite band.
They are a rarity in that even after being around for over twenty years now they have maintained their integrity throughout and have something to say whilst also having a good time.
I've seen them live about fifteen times now and they have been excellent every time.
There are literally dozens of their songs I could use, depending on mood etc, if we had such a facility.
They are well worth looking into.

en.wikipedia.org...(band)

Through them I learnt about the man who helped provide the 'inspiration' for my ATS name, 'Freeborn' John Lilburne, a man of truly remarkable courage and passion who never wavered in his beliefs.

en.wikipedia.org...

Seven is a great tune, for some reason I often listen to it when I need cheering up a bit.
The other songs I listed are also well worth a listen to.

The song you embedded proved something of a surprise.
To be honest I thought it was going to be a bit 'happy-clappy' - not there's anything particularly wrong with that - but there was some fantastic musicianship there.

For the record, John Lennon would support it ( Despite copyright issues that may stop ATS from allowing it)

Music is everybody's possession. It's only publishers who think that people own it.

I was already looking for you in the crowd. Knew you'd be there somewhere.

Followed the link. You really ought to do a thread on the guy. Quite a character.

I continued listening to your suggestions. 'My World' struck a definite chord (-pardon the pun.)

Indeed. There's a good reason for that:

Stuart Smith was born in York, England. The son of an RAF jet fighter pilot, he was classically trained on guitar from the age of seven, and, at fourteen, his interest in rock and roll was ignited after seeing a Deep Purple concert. Moving to London in the late 70s, he toured the Continent with his band, Sidewinder, and was fortunate enough to be mentored on guitar for a time by Deep Purple virtuoso Ritchie Blackmore...

Here's a bit more

Other posters — keep it coming. As mentioned, there are definitely ways around the main issues. With enough quality posts who knows, we might even hear from one of the three amigos...

Maybe I'd have something with my mate Michael Lee drumming on it.
Mike sadly passed away three years ago, he was a great drummer who played with The Cult, Page & Plant amongst others.
He is sorely missed.

Here he is with Echo And The Bunnymen.

I agree... It can say so may things.Make you feel so many things. Make you think about so many things. Music is an amazing and powerful tool.

Here is one that lots of people on ATS would actually get a good laugh from.

Here's some a lot of ATSers would probably use.

Although, I think this would be a more accurate representation of most members:
