Hows about some MUSIC?

I was wondering about adding another dimension to the site, namely a personalized vibe, aka avatar melody. You put your place pointer over the punter's avatar and, hey presto, you hear their theme tune.

Augmented personalization. Increased entertainment. Themed ID.

Great idea pause.

Don't know how feasible it is though?

What piece of music would you have?

There's so many I'd consider but I had a shortlist that included;

One Way - The Levellers.
My World - Secret Affair.
I Am The Resurrection - Stone Roses.
Seven - James.

In the end though I think it'd be a toss up between these two tracks:

That's a great idea. I'd probably just use my own songs. But, whatever you pick just remember people will judge you on your music just as the do with avatars! Can't tell you how many of you clowns actually think that I'm a gun toting gangsta..........suckers.

I really like this idea, it could describe a little bit how you are.

Well FB you continue my musical education. I enjoyed the guy with the hair extensions in the first little ditty, and was starting to get into 'Celtic folk meets Polyphonic Spree' in the second - 'specially the legless fiddler.

Then I went to check out the other things listed, at random. That 'Seven' track drew me in the longer it went on. Half way through something hit me, which could take this whole theme to the next level: a little window in the avatar for the vid!?

What piece of music would you have?

I think you've begun to illustrate the breadth of the possibilities.

It would certainly be an interesting reflection of a poster's state of mind.

I would love it, if it is possible. I doubt ATS would allow it, due to potential copyright issues though. It would have to be some public domain song...Which would suck.

Isn't it though? When I first joined I spent a while trying to think of the perfect username for me... Thinking about what I wanted to gain and even give to ATS.... I thought of the truth... And of course being a huge John Lennon fan I thought of gimme some truth..... And the rest is history.

^ As if any one cares how I cam up with my username.

I think it's a good idea. Probably would be difficult to oversee. If it's one thing I've learned is that the very few can spoil a good thing for the many and sometimes even take pleasure in doing so.
