Perhaps she could undergo some sensitivity training too, we do not want people holding beliefs too far away from our own. Obviously the state should ban, or at least correct, all thought which drifts too far away from the established thought of the nation as defined by myself.

Stalin, is that you?

Hi there,

Can you please explain where you lifted this quote you have attributed to me.

Thanks.

I sympathize with her point of view but she went about it the absolute worst way possible. Yelling racial slurs and cursing endlessly on a public transportation system while your young child is with you, well that is just completely ridiculous regardless of the situation or your frustration level. She should in no way be punished for what she had said, but there are laws against disturbing the peace and she violated them so naturally there will be a punishment.

Next time she wants to condemn immigrants stand on a sidewalk with a sign, not cursing people out on a tram.

From here www.abovetopsecret.com...

I altered the wording hence the * * around two of the words. Not sure if that is permitted, never read any rules which say it is not, so forgive me if it is not allowed.

she has been arrested and refused bail.

if she did this with a sign on the sidewalk she would be arrested too.

I think things like these are symptoms of the unrest of the human race. The human mind is fragile at the best of times and has to boil over from time to time. SHOUT AT THE UNIVERSE or write a letter to the government.

Racism is like a ocean tide flowing back and forth, waxing and waning twixt ignorance and hate. ?But what is hate. Everyone has there own ideas of what Hate is. It is an emotion for sure but it is something else entirely. ?Is it extreme spite, an emotional reflex deeply rooted in the pysche. Hate has a purpose like all things but its form and nature are mysterious.

Hate speech is considered dangerous because in some it awakens a desire for harming and war. But that is just ego disturbances. ?So what is it.

Thus free thought and free speech are not permitted. If part of her imprisonment is for her speech then I consider her a political prisoner. So unfortunate that these types of things still occur in the West. We are free only to speak that which our masters allow of us.

...and her ethnic/racial slurs are just fine then?

What does she even know about those she is so bitter towards? My guess is not a lot. She's seeing skin tone, and the actions of a vast minority. Most immigrants get jobs and get along as best they can, hoping that their children and grand-children will have better lives than they did.

She was rude. She was hateful. Not to mention very much mistaken. Should she be allowed her opinion? Certainly. I'll defend that to the death. However, the flip side of that coin is taking the consequences of that opinion, and the actions taken while expressing that opinion.

?Will these woman get help and support from BNP and EDL as these political organizations will be familiar with their plight. We will have to wait and see what they have to say about this.

Free thought is obviously permitted.

Speech is restricted if it is deemed to incite. While the USA doesn't have specific legislation regarding ''hate speech'', it has laws against ''incitement'' and ''fighting words'' - so the law regarding ''free speech'' is really no different over there.

The BNP could not help themselves out of a wet paper bag and the EDL? While I agree with most of what they advocate, they are about as irrelevant as the BNP.

I never said what she says is fine, however, I like the idea of free speech without restrictions, even if that means the flip side is people are free to say horrible and vile things that may offend people.

Otherwise the government should make guidelines of what is appropriate say in public (seems a bit 1984 for my liking).

I also find the people who condone violence towards this woman, far more offensive than what this woman said.
It seems they're hate for this woman is justified, because of the things she said, but they don't see that they're just as bad...If you hate the hater, your still just a hater yourself (if that makes sense)

I agree with you about immigrants in general though, my mother and grandparents are immigrants to the country I call home, and yes they where met with prejudice and racism, but despite this they worked hard and gained a decent life themselves, me and my siblings in our adopted homeland.

Only last week the deputy effing prime minister, Clegg, was calling on banks to specifically target a racial grouping, namely blacks!

Police probe more 'racist abuse'

(UKPA) – 50 minutes ago

Detectives are investigating video footage of another foul-mouthed commuter on a Manchester-London train shouting racist abuse.

The minute-and-a-half tirade by a brunette woman on a train was spotted by officers on Tuesday night after it was posted on YouTube.

Footage entitled "My Tram Experience part 2" came to light after Emma West, 34, appeared in court over a separate web video showing passengers being abused.

Officers launched the latest hunt for a brunette woman caught shouting: "You are in my country now, talk my language."

I would have thought the police would have more serious crimes to investigate, than an incident that happened 2 years ago, and presumably no one bother to report.

I am so tired of this issue rearing it's ugly head. I hear it daily now.

I am a white woman, who believes that people have the right to live wherever on the planet they wish.

I do think that Britain is now over populated for the resources available but that is due to policy.

Why the hell do people not address the real problem which is the policies of our governments rather than attacking innocent people.

Our gov has done this knowingly and with intent, why can people not see this?

you had the huge outcry over a seven year old clip with a father hitting his 15year old. that was seven years old.

the second clip here is possibly 2years old. its been investigated.

we are going to be flooded with this material now.

like i said already its giving a voice to those who have been bullied and victimised in the past. it is giving the victims an areana to strike back.

i am sure many people are very worried about what might be appearing on youtube next...................

Well I don't believe that racism is on the increase in the UK. I can remember the 1970s in the UK.. Now that was almost an apartheid state. There will always be a few..

Also the American public generally does not "get" the UK unless they have lived here for some time. I also think that the looming threat of recession will send some people into paronoid madness.

This woman is a danger to society, not the least of which that poor child who probably has to sit at home and absorb her racist bull****, because he might grow up spouting the same crap. And if I am a danger to society because I would possibly fly off the handle when someone is sitting there like she owns the bloody UK, telling me I've turned 'her country' to ****, screaming at me to go back to my country, then you'd better bloody well arrest just about everyone because any human with a shred of dignity and pride would have at the very least politely implored her to shut her ignorant mouth and leave the country if the sh**ty state of it so perturbed her.
