150,000 - when you think about the man power requried to fire a missile including fuelling launch sequences targetting etc. there is no way you can fire off that many in one go without heavy preparation. if iran starts prepping that many missiles they will be wiped off the map before they could do anything.

Maybe. Unless they were hidden underground, and shielded from all kinds of ground penetrating radar. Although I think that has to be plane mounted, unless they've put it on satellites. So may be a mute point anyways.

Hmm, well according to this WND article:

So the term "missiles" must include rockets, and indeed, as proposed earlier in thread, Iran is counting on allies to achieve this 150,000 number- which is probably way over exaggerated.

Good luck with Iran shooting all those missles at Israel. They haven't unveiled "David's Sling" for nothing. Iran needs to stop playing the role of Golaith because the last time David's sling was used a teenaged boy felled a battle hardened warrior in 1 hit. Goliath got WTF pownt.

This probably is authentic, as that sounds like something that would come out of Iran. I think they have every right to defend themselves, and I am vehemently opposed to the US or Israel invading or bombing Iran, but if they do, Iran and its soldiers will be wiped off the map.

This reminds me of Saddam's Republican Guard during the Gulf War. They were supposed to be elite, yet the Americans/British killed thousands upon thousands of them, while suffering less than 300 total casualties, the large majority of which were due to friendly-fire incidences.

I think that we will see the same turn tail and run, or surrender mentality from the Iranian army if things escalate further, because they just do not understand the capabilities of the Earth's superpowers militarily speaking. So Iran, even though they are mostly puffing their chest up to look bigger and tougher, should be a bit more modest. Maybe they think they are going to intimidate these hostile countries like Israel, who deep down seem hell-bent on invading Iran.

I suppose we will see what happens. I am sure Iran has that many missiles, but remember the Republican Guard...They had excellent military hardware, although a bit old but effective nonetheless, but they weren't proficient with their use. If Iran's soldiers are green as well, it won't matter how much technology or weapons they have, because they will be swiftly overrun.

I can just see it now. If Israel launches either an air or ground attack, or both, Iran will hit back as hard as they can, but then the new coalition forces will literally pound them into the ground from the air...Then, weeks later, after the majority of the Iranian military's hardware has been destroyed, along with their morale, ground troops will be sent in to clean up the remainder of the troops.

I think the meaning was lost in translation. I think what was meant was" we will fire 150,000 rockets at ourselves to show Israel what we can do"!

Can you say "shoot your wad"? That's a LOT of missiles! Do they all have the right range? Are they all accurate? Some SCUDS are fire and forget... as in, fire, and forget hitting what you aimed at! Same with Katyushas. And of course... once you've shot off all your rockets.... prepare for the retaliation! Once a threat is used, its no longer a threat.

lol thats if Iran can even fire those missles without them blowing up in a storage shack first dirty mud hutters can't even handle the same explosives they're threatening people with. Thats what happens when you get technology from another country without researching it first :/

I wouldn't be surprised if Russia provids the missles and/or assists Iran in the attack. If this happens they are only fulfillling bible prophecy in Revelation which speaks of a great war against Israel from Russia and Iran, however, doesn't end well for Iran or Russia. Read Revelation....just sayn

I can assure you.........Israel will not be harmed. Everything is aligning perfectly with bible prophecy in Revelation. It talks about Iran's alliance with Russia and how they will attack Israel albeit a defeat for both Iran and Russia. Many Russian and Iranian lives will be lost in this war with not one Israeli fatality. This war will be one of the first events leading to the great tribulation.

That's all nationalistic rhetoric. Iran doesn't even have the means to deploy that many missiles..
