Arab hate: A Muslim Brotherhood rally in Cairo's most prominent mosque Friday turned into a venomous anti-Israel protest, with attendants vowing to "one day kill all Jews."

Some 5,000 people joined the rally, called to promote the "battle against Jerusalem's Judaization." The event coincided with the anniversary of the United Nations' partition plan in 1947, which called for the establishment of a Jewish state.

1) This article may be exaggerated, or entirely false.

2) This article may be true, in which case it helps the world not one bit to voice such extremism.

3) As much as I hate Israeli malevolence, I can't recall them ever vowing to kill all Muslims.

Extremism is no good for anyone, and will not help bring about peace. Will there ever be peace with attitudes like this?

Fine, let them all kill each other then. Just leave our boys out of it.

I don't believe the article is false or spun much at all. If the Muslim Brotherhood hadn't made this among their core statements of belief and purpose, I might think otherwise...but this is part of what drives these particular people over there. The total destruction of all things Jewish and obliteration of Israel.

It's important to recall that BOTH sides have a great deal of hate and aggression over there...and neither side is white or black in motivations.... Thanks for a thread pointing out that the coming fight is very much two sided in nature.

My concern is that Occupy Wall Street walked in solidarity with Egypt just the other day. If they walk in solidarity on this issue, if indeed these people in Cairo represent the majority, I worry about what could be to come in this country for minorities. If Occupy is indeed a peaceful movement, they should reply to these statements, again, only if these prejudice statements represent the sincere initiatives of the Egyptians. This is not a peaceful gesture. This should not be tolerated by Occupy.

Well this shows how much pull the Muslim Brotherhood has when they have to beg people to stay for a protest. And this in a country where let's face it protests have been very popular. Just think about it a lot of these people were probably displaced Palestinians who lost their land as well as family members to the Israelis for the crime of living on land that Israel wanted. Wanting to wipe a whole nation off the map or kill all Jews is wrong but there are some people that have that do unto other as they have or will do to you attitudes.

just to add, the article mentions the zionists and attempts at changing al-quds (jerusalem) into a jewish area with involvement of europe.
political rallies by these guys seem to be directed to install fear and mistrust into the minds of those who listen and are not informed about the issues. sure, there are moves by the israelis on the al-quds and by the brotherhood attempting to co-opt certain agendas which are important to the egyptian peoples as a whole, it is political imo to catch as many votes as possible in the upcoming elections. the article doesn't mention that egypt is not just of muslim leaning and forgets the fact that there are also copts in the equation who will eventually need to be represented within whatever setup comes along. if that is not the case, all the divide and conquer tactics worked and egypt is back to square one with probably the same old unseen culprits in the wheelhouse.
one thing is for sure, while the junta are holding the cards, the bloodshed will not stop.

I just watched that whole video, so let me spare others the trouble. Nowhere in it does it say we vow to kill all Jews. So the answer to your question is no, that's not it. But thanks for trying...I guess?

Not so fast.

Israeli's go to great lengths to care for Palestinians and other Arabs in Israel as well as even their injured enemies.

The Arabs do the opposite.

That's Just facts.

Every time I see videos of these Islamic religious degenerates spewing their extremist garbage, its changes my opinion of Western forces being over there...

I suddenly go from opposing our involvement there, to a new-found warm and fuzzy feeling that Western forces are in the region doing what they have been doing against these extremist degenerates...

This DESPICABLE religion needs to be the FIRST ONE ELIMINATED from the globe...

I need to know where you got this information from. Where have you been able to find a listing of core statements of belief and purpose that has in it to kill all Jew? I have looked and can find nothing anywhere to this effect.

With everything going on in the middle east, it would not surprise me one bit.

2) This article may be true, in which case it helps the world not one bit to voice such extremism.

Not only does it not help the world, it is an insult to the entire movement in Egypt.

3) As much as I hate Israeli malevolence, I can't recall them ever vowing to kill all Muslims.

Israel probably never have, but in saying that, they would if they were given the opportunity.

Extremism is no good for anyone, and will not help bring about peace. Will there ever be peace with attitudes like this?

The Egyptians has just ousted their president. The army has taken over and the party is starting again. I think they should be concerned about there own country instead of thinking about Jews who are actually Zionists in Israel. This attitude will be all over the middle east and peace is unlikely in the near future.

Fine, let them all kill each other then. Just leave our boys out of it.

Exactly, and leave our people who have settled in Egypt out of it as well.

ynetnews? An Israeli news site? I can't believe that they would stoop so low as to create news that didn't happen. Yes, that's sarcasm.

Usually ynet is ok. Unlike INN which usually is not. But since it is time for military budget discussions, and planned cuts - the timing of publication is suspicious. Maybe it did happen, but our ministry of defense uses this to get even more funds, as opposite to cuts proponents from ministry of finances that were winning until Egyptian situation destabilized again.

Unfortunately, attitudes such as this are the predominant attitude in the Arab world towards Jews, ergo, there will never be peace with Israel until the Arabs MEAN peace, and not what Yasser Arafat (incidentally, also an Egyptian) infamously called, "the peace of the Quraysh" (alluding to the episode in the Quran where Mohommad made a peace treaty with the tribe of Quraysh, only to break it a year later...Later Islamic theologians interpreted this episode as an instruction in how to deal with enemies when the Umma (the collective Muslim community) is in a position of weakness. After the umma gains strength, they are no longer subject to any peace treaty made with a hostile party)....

I disagree.. It's easy to say in any conflict that both parties have equal hate. But when you get down to the simple facts of the matter, the fundamentals, it becomes apparent that the hostile party in Israel-Arab conflict is the Arabs, while the Jews are merely acting out self defense.

Keep in mind, this issue goes back to the beginning of the 20th century. If you want to understand the present, understand what happened in the past. From the very beginning, before a zionist 'entity' called Israel came into existence, the Arabs resented the presence of a self-autonomous Jewish community in the land of Israel. Thus, it is the Arabs who are harboring a bigoted and acrimonious attitude towards the Jews, forbidding them any right to self determination, even denying that Israel even existed as a Jewish land, or that Al Quds (the arab name for Jerusalem) was ever a Jewish city.

When you lie and distort the truth as much as the Arabs have, its hard to believe a thing they say. Is it so hard to believe the perennial victim, the Jew, is again being victimized, paradoxically, this time by being cast as an aggressor by the worlds media?
