It's obvious this is just an exercise, apparently presented in Vol XI of the journal (which I'm assuming is the appendix to this article) and this is just the solution to that exercise.

The fact that it's unclassified (original) makes that pretty clear. No way anything related to translating messages from ET at NSA is 'unclassified."

1 - It was released under a FOIA request in 2004. I'm sure the guys at the NSA are ltao.

2 - There are no redactions. The black space at the bottom of the page is due to the copy machine.

It is obvious these documents are still important even after declassified because they're almost entirely blacked.

Do other people now see why I concluded this topic has to be tackled in a separate thread that gives the proper story in a rather detailed OP that nails down the actual nature of the NSA material, rather than posting details in later posts?

After the first page (or less), it was too late to post relevant information in this thread.

I need to read the full report but so far it looks amazing! this should be in the press!

Hollywood in an attempt to de-mystify UFOs as far as the public was
concerned. The CIA mind control program, which was authorized in

broken the agreement and were abducting far more people than they

Alien study group, know as the JASON society, under National
Security Council provision NSC 5411. NSC edict 5412/2 established
the original study committee. In 1956 the group, publicly referred
to as the Quantico group, was closed. The 5412 designation became
public knowledge, but the purpose of the group remained secret.

In 1956, Captain Rudppelt, who left the Air Force in 1953,
wrote and published his famous book "Report on Unidentified Flying
Objects", he also made a statement that year about a "group of
Germans having advanced aerial vehicles".


1957

By 1957, Joseph McCarthy was becoming a problem. He was
admitted to Bethesda Naval Hospital where, of course, he
mysteriously died.

In 1957, it was decided that the course of human evolution
would make the planet uninhabitable by the year 2000, so various
"Alternatives" were discussed. Alternative 1, was to allow things
to continue the way they were and hope things could be repaired.
The second alternative was to arrange for underground cities and
facilities to be built in order to insure the survival of select
groups of people. Alternative 3 was migration to other planets.
Both Alternatives 2 and 3 were chosen as being the most viable.
Work was then started on both of them. In order to implement
Alternative 3, alien technology would be needed. It was also
necessary to push for more complete forms of mind control in order

IT might have something to do with this message from space the CIA and NSA receive and try to hide.

This thread is like an IQ test for ATS and ATS is currently scoring in the low teens.

There's a few of us trying to drag the score back up, so that on average ATS has the IQ of, say, a turtle in a coma, but... it's not easy.

Even if the big wigs told the would be puzzle solvers "this is an exercise" that would mean nothing. Remember

sometimes the best place to hide secrets are right out in the open.

The whole idea was to get information. What did the messages from space say? Seems like they were trying

to find out.

My issue is that many here are claiming it is clearly an exercise. I want to see where that is stated because I don't see it.

I want the proof to that argument.

Show it to me and I will petition the mods every time this particular issue gets posted (as should everyone else).

However if there isn't clear evidence that this is a exercise then that argument needs to be abandoned.
