No philosophy, just passing on much of the material that woke me up. If anything, use the playlist for reflection.

"It simply takes a few good people to take action" I have heard that quote my whole life and I only see things getting worse, but thats me.I look for good and find it but the evil in this world seems to be growing exponentially. This is a fact of life that I have accepted, thats not defeat, its realism in the face of the reality of the times.
I get your point and I thank you for it.

“The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.” – Socrates
Stopped Reading There.
No Star, No flag.
(Third Line)
I agree Socrates was a complete ass hole, I almost stopped reading right there, but I did go on.
Good thing I did.
"Wisdom is acknowledging you don't know everything"

So Jesus, who had one of the best outlines for governing human behavior and was thus admittedly wise, just used his wisdom as a ploy to get you to trust him so he could trick you into surrendering to him? Is that it? Brilliant.

My personal understanding is that there is there is no entity that is head of all things evil (Satan) and no one who is head of all things good (God). There is not such thing as all good or all evil sentient being, only their actions can be deemed that way.
I don't view 'the source' as a single conscious being that watches over all creation, but rather the collective consciousness of everything in existence. So essentially, it is everything and everyone. That's just my understanding at this moment, but this theory does fill in a lot of the blanks for me.edit on 06/14/2011 by 2x Helix because: (no reason given)
I never tryed to wake up to the real world as you put it.My goal was and is to understand "human nature",once you have done that then all else is just conversation and personal opinion.

I've been in that state of mind for the majority of the past 6 years since "waking up" to the real world. I truly believe that humanity has plenty of potential and passion. Unfortunately, that energy is spent on endeavors that only effect the surface level or simply end up going nowhere. Personally, this is what I think of OWS, plenty of good intentions that are simply misplaced. The level of control goes far beyond money. Learn who the true enemies are, expose them, and remove them.
Even though I promote mediation, peace, etc., I truly believe in balance, which includes the use of force or violence tempered with wisdom. The info I've offered here is only meant to raise awareness and to reflect, but not as THE solution. The more information we absorb, the more we can see the source of the problem.
If we truly want to stop any oppression in the world, I feel this video should be mandatory.

Did it ever occur to you that you are still being manipulated. You mention quantum mechanics which basically states that nothing exists unless it's being perceived by a conscious mind. Therefore by believing in the conspiracy, you are literally creating that reality. You are literally manifesting it. If everyone believed in peace, there would be peace, but if everyone believes that evil is lurking in the shadows and is out to get us, then that is the reality we are creating for ourselves. This is why Buddhists meditate and don't concern themselves with materialistic matters, because to do so, is to manifest it. What Buddhists refer to as grasping.
Sentient beings crave pleasure and are averse to pain from birth to death. In being controlled by these attitudes, they perpetuate the cycle of conditioned existence and suffering (Samsara), and produce the causes and conditions of the next rebirth after death. Each rebirth repeats this process in an involuntary cycle, which Buddhists strive to end by eradicating these causes and conditions. Suffering ends when craving ends. This is achieved by eliminating delusion, thereby reaching a liberated state of Enlightenment
It's going to take an absolute miracle to get humanity out of the mess it has created, but it certainly isn't impossible. Take control of your own mind and liberate it from all negativity. Believe in a world of peace and prosperity for all, rather than a world full of doom and gloom. It's time to empower ourselves.
