The media has no problem showing the pictures of dead palestinian or muslim children (who were throwing stones at Israeli soldiers) but they can't show pictures of dead white or christian children (who were fleeing their captors)

If they hoped for sympathy for thier cause before, they have sealed thier own tombs with this abomination.

Ya wanna set the Russians off against you, kill thier kids. The Nazis learned the hard way this little rule. What they hoped would terrorize the Russians angered and fueled them even more.

Thus, I have a feeling Chechnya is in for some serious hurting like they have never known before.

Taking a school hostage was simply unforgivable, I dont care what the Russians did in Chechnya. Once you cross that line and start killing or using the young, sick, or moms, youve lost any right to any compassion, merrcy, respect, or understanding.

This whole terrible incident has got me thinking of something James Woods said quite a while ago. There were some questioning our invasion of Afghanistan and the civilian deaths that had resulted. Woods noted the US's response to 9-11, had in his opinion, been restrained. The person interviewing him asked him how he could make such a bold statement. Woods replied that if it had been Russia or China - there would be three or four giant holes where cities had once stood. No attempts to separate the innocent from the guilty, no interest in protecting mosques or shrines and no attempts to rebuild.

I wonder what the Russian response will be after the death of so many children.?


Skadi is right - these men ( and women) have done nothing to further their cause or create sympathy for them. They have drawn the blood of the innocents and no one will have mercy on them.

This is just the tip of the ice-berg whats goin as i feel there is a lot more like this too come, just wait till a nuclear device of some sort is used by fanatical muslims and then we'll have some real debate ,but all in all this is what we glasweigns in scotland say Bang ootae order and i think russia should do as america in iraq and go into checnyae and use what ever force needed to capture and kill these warlords and terrorist, there animals the hole lot of them and should all be treated as such killem all let god sort them out lol

Any one who goes along with this is as low as you can go. Posing with dead children, no matter where they are from, is just rude, crude and socially not acceptable.

The problem with bombing Checnya to hell is well its already been done, and its only made things worse.

this is gonna be one hell of a crisis for putin to get out of, aside from that not all Checynas want the independant state, or are muslim.

im not sure what id do personally, prolly ask US for help in exchange to help in Iraq.

Allah is the same as God in Catholicism, and Yahweh in Judaism, as we know they rnt being used to create mayhem, fictional or not.

I think my point is still valid.

I object to your characterisation of this as Arabs and Christians. you sound like a SPIN doctor. To use these young lost lives that way is sacilege of their lives.

This is Adults with scr*wed up ideologies, religions and politics, using and killing innocent children. Life is precious, if people would value it instead of all their BS the world might be a workable place.

If you are looking for more scr*wed up Adults you don't have to look as far away as the Arab world.

well it is valid, but at the same time there are many types of muslims, not just a core group who goes around and cuts peoples heads off.

same in catholicism, the KKK uses God to justify there acts, but Catholics, who read the same book and worship the same God do not do half the activitys the KK did/does

This is something I have always found troubling about Islam. Like Christianity it forbids suicide (immediate ticket to hell - whatever) but somehow the clerics are able to convince their followers to do it anyway. I mean isn't there something in the Koran that actually says if your enemy drops his sword - you're supposed to have mercy or some such nonsense.

Anyone here schooled in the Koran?

im not schooled in it but i can recal a history teacher telling me once that in a nice way the Koran says that if you decide not to take up islam, hell with you...

Islam as a religion was spread initially through a vast conquest started by Muhammad with the capture of Mecca in 618A.D. and continued on by the "succesors to the prophet". The conquest stretched from Spain to India and the the territory was "The Nation of Islam." Christianity as a religion was spread initially through many missionary trips around the Meditteranean. Later Christianity spread much faster when Constantine the Great convened the Council of Nicaea which made Christianity the Official religion of the Roman Empire. Islam has its start through war and greedy conquest. Christianity has its start through peace and humble testimony.

good point about it being spread by war, but Islam didnt choose that, its followers did, but still, mabye noone has ever understood islam as it is translated to "peace" if im not mistaken.

Verfed - you're not quite right about Christianity being spread by peace and missionarism. Look at Charlemagne's conquests. As much as I admire him as a head of State, he did give the defeated Saxons the choice between baptism and death, and had 4500 of them executed. Doesn't sound too peaceful to me...
