Therefore, this can't be heaven, nor anything peaceful.

Thumbs up for the work involved but it's a mishmash of gaudy proportions. It exudes no sense of peace or rapture. It's like the guy was confused about what he was seeing. You don't have a temple with 16 different religions showing in it.

But a big wow for the effort in creating it. He must have seemed a hermit while doing it.

Absolutely brilliant. Thank you for the post and links. A wonderful example of what can be accomplished when differences in perspective are not the focus but similarities.

The whole idea behind the caverns is a sense of peace, and love, and evolution. The white marble and the bright colors showing scenes of learning and unity.

How is that not an image of peace and harmony?

I really do think that humanity as a whole is held down by a mentally ill elite whose main symptom is existential anxiety to the point of paranoia, overcontrol to the point of strangulation of everyone and everything around them.

Humanity will flower out only when they have found a way as these temple builders did to escape the overcontrolling ways of the paranoid elite.

Thank you to everybody for all the wonderful replies. It is nice to see something so positive, isn't it? Such a beautiful creation to benefit all of mankind!

The world is in such turmoil right now. It is my opinion that it will change for the better soon. But I have no proof. Just my opinion.

Amazing work; this man's visions must have been incredibly detailed for him to produce such intricate artworks. Given a thousand years or so, this would be regarded as a major archeological discovery, the work of skilled artisans. However, the fact that it was done by a contemporary man leads to it being called the work of a "paranormal eccentric". Go figure, huh?

It was probably those same "paranoid elite" who commissioned and financed this temple complex.

I cant imagine that it was cheap.

Also, a little history. Freemasonry, Theosophy, and many different esoteric orders, all of a metaphysical nature, have always been the pet interest of the elite classes.

This just proves that just "one person" with a vision or dream can make something like this happen! We trivialize ourselves and think our ideas are not worth sharing or are inferior to other ideas we have seen. What if this gentleman had not followed through with his dream? These temples would never have never been built! We as human beings are capable of so much more than the war and destruction we create on this earth! To the original OP, what a super thread! It brightened my day! I think there is still hope for all of us!

It is certainly amazing, although I don't see it as an alternative lifestyle, but could only be if there was no choice but to be underground. This place is both the womb and a place of dreams, a nice place to go back to if you need a break, it also takes away a bit of the mystery of the ancient cave dwellers as we like to think of them as. They could just have had a place 'up top' as well.

Now, isn't the US constitution based on the same principle, of everyone working towards the common good? The common good being the "right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness"...

The common good is quite a generic term. For communists, the common good is whatever the state says: and we know from experience that every socialist experiment has been a moral nightmare: Nazi Germany, Fascist France, Communist Russia, Communist Cambodia, Communist Vietnam, Communist China, Communist Ethiopia..

We should really know by now that communism is a hellish political philosophy, and yet the political elites continue to pursue it, in line with Plato's dream society, where families don't exist, and where "The common good", determined by the political elite, becomes the golden calf of the people.

I much prefer the common good of Israel and the US constitution to the common good of Plato.

This is a wonderful thread and pleasing, giving one the sense, of what may be again to come within the new age, or the golden age, as the higher understanding that is promised is attained, and we again all live in peace and harmony with mother nature, and one another

Indeed, many thanks for posting this amazing place, its a place every one would want to exist in, and while no single entente is worshiped, instead its all encompassing, I note that even Horus the (RA) God is represented
