okay lets take a look at those low ball figures for missing "over 6 months " people... 1,600 in australia each year... and there are 196 countries in the world... in some countries the number is lower and in some its much higher...china,russia,brazil,usa,india,canada,african countries,ect,ect,... So...196 x 1600 = 313,600 people "missing over 6 months" "every year"

Okay, again, the math here is flawed and you cannot just make figures up by multiplying the numbers of missing people in one country and average it by the number of other countries. The figures were way out, which was my point with regard to the information you quoted on the number of missing persons in Australia. That of course has little to do with missing persons in other countries but those statistics need to be looked at closely especially when it comes to estimations and numbers of missing children often floating in the useless welfare system in western nations. You are correct in that the numbers in third world countries are probably underestimated by a large margin and that there is a problem with relation to missing persons world wide. I was pointing out that per capita, my country has very few missing persons that are unaccounted for. I was suggesting that the statistical information you provided in your post was incomplete with relation to the numbers of missing persons as those numbers reflect the reports alone, not the number of missing persons who are eventually recovered, found alive an well or met with foul play. There is something going on and I believe human and child trafficking has much to do with that. Aliens however???? I sincerely doubt it.

i was fairly accurate in all counts,1,600 "missing for at least 6 months" in australia, chinas population is at least 50 times as large,so china would be around 80,000... meanwhile sweden is like 3 time less than australia and so would have around 500 "missing over 6 months"

australias population is about 22 million...chinas is around 1.3 billion

China 1,339,724,852
India 1,210,193,422
United States 312,648,000
Indonesia 237,641,326
Brazil 190,755,799
Pakistan 177,880,000
Nigeria 162,471,000
Russia 142,914,136
Bangladesh 142,319,000
Japan 127,720,000
Mexico 112,336,538

its simple math, australia has on a yearly average 1,600 people "missing over 6 months" and has a population of 22,000,000

I listed the largest populations above...

There are 100's of thousands if not millions every year the world over missing for 6 months and most of those are never seen again... 6 months is a long time waiting for a vanished loved one...

And those are the reported ones, half dont get reported, like teenagers thrown out of thier homes and told to never come back, the homeless drifters, those without living relatives, shunned drug addicts and alcoholics, unregistered new borns stolen from hospitals..

I have also heard that "certain doctors" drug babies while they are being born, that makes them look like they are dead "still born" and the unsuspecting parents see the lifeless body and leave the hospital,or village hut in most cases, then later the baby is revived and sold to elite satanic cults or given to demonic aliens. That happens a lot in 3rd world countries during cesarean deliveries...

Yep. Nothing scary or secret..LOL! Just salt mines and whatnot. Richard Sauder has gone into great detail of the so-called FEMA "continuity of government" program that devours trillions of dollars in total, just to stock up on water, canned food, salt, anti-radiation showers, beds for congress, tennis courts, swimming pools, etc.

But I get your drift mate. You have done a lot for ATS over the years and we appreciate that deeply. If only more people could show more interest that would be fantastic. How is John Lear doing? Maybe he should come back to ATS!

Anyway there are many such videos on YouTube that show similar things. In fact in one video a truck seems to pass a checkpoint gate and heads STRAIGHT INTO THE UNDERGROUND HIGHWAY via a make beilive food storage facility.

I dare anyone to watch this. Just make sure you take some aspirin afterwards cause it makes people dizzy!

After all we need people for the mines on the Moon and Mars

I personally believe "we" have already been colonizing other parts of the galaxy via contact with off-planet beings.

Mines on the Moon and Mars wouldn't surprise me at all.

Yup, you are not reading anything i have posted other than the statistics on Government pages. There are other factors at play that you simply choose to ignore. Like I said previously and will say once more for the last time, of the 1600 number of long term missing, (which is a figure provided by the AFP) from 2008; many will be found over the course of a few years as simply having moved interstate, dropped off grid or chosen a new life via deed pol. Some have been lost via relocation overseas and a number of other perfectly plausible reasons. I guess those don't make for popular reading though. I am not arguing for the sake of it. I am pointing out things not taken into consideration. I do agree there is a problem and the numbers of missing persons world wide are alarming no doubt. I guess its easier to believe "Aliens did it" because then we don't really have to get our hands dirty actually trying to help the real victims of the sex/slave trafficking that clearly goes on around the world.

When I was in HS I got swallowed up into all of these underground base and alien conspiracies. There's a lot of fiction out there. I've always been an avid reader of fiction, including sci-fi. But at some point I realized it was no more or less a kind of religion to me (at the time). It was consuming a part of my mind. I'm not sure when, but somewhere I decided that it was a waste of time. Somewhere, I put my faith in science. Generally, I don't have faith in my government. I think there're lies. But I also think that being rationale and pursuing science are two of hte most important things we can do in life. Fiction is fun to read, but don't put your faith in it. In fact, try not to have any more faith than you need. I think we all have some faith in different things. But the desire to be rationale and factual are important traits to have. It should trump faith in most matters. However, like with the case of non-terrestrial life possibly existing elsewhere in the universe, faith tells me it's there, but the facts say it's not (yet). My bet is it's out there.

Sometimes our gut is right. Case in point: en.wikipedia.org.... He believed that other earth-like worlds were around other stars in the universe. He had no facts to back up his claims. He could have been wrong. And people were writing about space travel before it was a fact. Most things were expected or wrote about before they became fact. Even flight was believed to be possible before we knew for sure. We could see birds flying, but our limited knowledge could not prove -we- could. But that didn't stop us from dreaming it or believing it possible.

I think part of what led me into all of it were things I heard from other people. I had always been into psuedo-science growing up: bigfoot, loch ness, ufos (not really until I was in HS), and sci-fi. But I had different stories relayed to me as well. Some were about bigfoot, some were about ufos, some were about ghosts and so on. The people that told me these things genuinely believed that what they personally witnessed was unconventional. It was those tales that really inspired in me the passion to find the 'truth'. Even to this day, I still feel there's something to a few of these things. It's not all fake, but a lot of it's.

You'd be surprised what people think they've seen. Just about everything. They don't say these things for money. They say it because they believe it. Crazy? Probably. But it's not a lie.

Whether the 'greys' exist or not is something we will eventually know. I guess it's possible they left and whatever evidence is here will be buried and forgotten. But if they're real I would imagine we'll know at some point. Or maybe there really is something to all of this and an event will happen that kills some of us or all of us and we'll never know. Or maybe it's just something so incredible that it'll literally shake the earth - though not have high casualties. But I hope this part of the 'talk' is not true. Honestly, I think it's nothing more than paranoia. There's so much paranoia on these forums. Sometimes I have to play into it because it's entertaining and educational (about psychology and prejudice), but it's really consuming and wasteful too.

Evil and Hell are religious words. I am Atheist.

I consider "either/or" a mistake/misconception when discussing the possibility of contact with off-planet beings more advanced then ourselves.

There are so many possibilities.

I am an atheist as well and if the aliens are not rescuing souls from hell, then they are rescuing souls from a very hellish place indeed...

Those who gather in churches, mosques and temples to pray are unknowingly feeding collective psychic energies to a god that is actually satan in disguise...

You have to factor in how various countries report missing people or if they even bother to look. A person over 18 has no obligation to remain in contact or report on their whereabouts with any regularity. It is easy to say this person is not in a database somewhere so they are "missing" but just dont want to be located for one reason or another. People can change their names, false id's etc.

I saw a case recently in our paper. A guy had run off when he was 17 or 18 (can't recall). They found him I think in Florida and he had reunited with his family. He was in his 50's.

He ran off because he wasn't on common terms with his mother (i think).

I'm pretty sure it was the paper and not an online newspaper.

Heres how atheist i actually am... If free will means that as little children were tortured then burnt alive at the stake during the witch hunts, god dressed in flowing white robes, laid back on a cloud, while golden angels brushed his silver hair,as he watched fully aware of what was happening to them, listening to their dying screams and did absolutely nothing to intervene on their behalf, yet was powerful enought to create the heavens and the earth, then i denounce god totally and have faith in knowing completely that god is an evil demon in disguise, this planet we call earth is his soul prison and this wicked god will never capture me within his demonic spells and unholy bible mantras and this sinister god will never attain my soul...

For an Atheist you are making an awful lot of Christian assumptions an analogies. Atheists do not believe in God, good or evil, so saying God will never attain your soul is in itself an admission of your belief. An Atheist would not have to worry about God doing anything as to them he does not exist. If I were to make an assumption or come to a conclusion based on this post of your above, it would be that you are no Atheist. I do apologize for responding to a post that was intended for someone else, I am simply following the thread and trying to understand where you are coming from. I am no closer to that I'm afraid.
Cheers

It did not say that at all initially. It simply stated the reason you were as Atheist as you were. Now it's a lesson to believers? How very bizarre!

And theres cases involving little children,3 or 4 years old who told their parents that someone came into their bedrooms at night, through the glass and when they were asked to draw a picture of what they saw,the images they drew looked like the grey aliens and they never saw one before.their bedrooms were on the second floor with no adjoining stairs and the trees nearby were burnt and broken at the tops,50 feet up in the air...lets see someone try and explain that away...

If they are so EVIL and ADVANCED, then how can we allow them to do anything?

That's like saying Iraq allowed the US to invade in exchange for revamping the oil infrastructure, the point is an inferior force cannot ALLOW a superior force to do anything. Things get done to them, no "allowing" at all.
