It is only "more out there" for people who have never read a decent book, watched a decent video or visited a decent ufo site. I assure you, if you and others use google or yahoo search engines with creative criteria, you will find a plethora of material which you can study at your leisure time.

It really pisses me off that reptillians were kicked out of the ufo/alien forumn on the technicality that they are not really aliens because they have allegedly been here a long time. Talk about suspicious motives.... Maybe John Lear was correct all along in labeling ATS a cia front site, but we will never know for sure either way.

I am not so sure about that. The NSA/CIA have declassified quite a bit of material lately but to be honest I have not taken a serious look yet. You might ask why....because I have read 4-5 books, been on ATS 4-5 years, viewed maybe 50 ufo/alien sites, listened and saw other posters convey their personal feelings and happenings, etc.

For me, I could not care less what evidence is official and what is unofficial. I do not plan on hacking the government to find out because I have enough faith in believing my fellow man and am quite good in judging people, even without looking them in the eyes face-to-face. And oh some british man hacked the USA Department of Naval Intelligence and saw star-fleet information. You probably heard of him since his case was high profile.

I think the OP turned off some folks with his exaggerated figures, but still I strongely believe alien abductions have played a crucial role on the topic from the beginning. It is kind of silly to dismiss everything because of that but someone who is out to discredit will use anything to their advantage.

What started out as a thread pertaining to over a million people being taken by aliens has now de-evolved into a God slam fest. I might point out though that Atheists do not believe in God so it stands to reason that neither do they believe in Gods adversary. In fact they do not believe in Deities of any kind, hence the Atheism.
The above sounds more like a disillusioned Christian who needs a cuddle and some reassurance.The outrageous claims you post should be taken to task as the numbers do not support your claim nor does the fact that there is simply no evidence to prove that aliens even exist. I am not in authority. True. I am nobody. Really. Just a member. This "shameful for ATS" part is just my opinion. But I will tell you why I think this way. Read it carefully as this will be my last participation in this Skunksworks Board as it clearly isn't for me.

I had prepared a lengthy reply, highlighting all that is wrong and false in this thread. But I decided not to post it. Anyone reading the whole thread from the first page can clearly see the false claims. I have decided that in the future I will avoid this board as - very obviously - some people don't see false claims but something else that I do not understand. But that's just me.

You ask why more and more people have a problem with this board. If you can't figure that out then we are at opposite sides of the spectrum.

I am a believer. I believe we have, and are, visited. I have memories of abduction. I say that this thread is a shame as it found its way to the first page. How does it look, when an outsider reads it all? What do we attract with such a thread?

SonoftheSUn, I understand your point. I can see how this thread doesn't give off a 'pleasant' appeal. But at the same time, that IS the point of ATS - to discuss things abnormal. Now I have been with this thread from the beginning; and myself as well as others can see the inaccuracies and blah blah blah as you stated. But I asked the OP if there was a personal experience to go with this 'idea', and there was. You yourself mentioned a personal experience. So, yes tho this OP is a little loose with this 'idea', it still is has a meaning and 'origin.'

Figures are a tough one... because without actually following case reports yourself, how do you know that "most of them have been found" ?

IF the PTB is part of the coverup, then why would we believe authorities telling us 'nothing to see, they all showed up'

Personally I look at the missing scientists and those that died suddenly under mysterious circumstances. LONG list of those

If you were a believer and former abductee, it seems to me you would have more tolerance for people who get a little too excited about the subject and decide to exaggerate the data. I agree the OP is not perfect, probably far from it, but at least he brings attention to the subject rather than flag iran threads.
