This was on yahoo:

The online "hacktivist" group Anonymous published the personal contact details on Monday of a California university policeman who used pepper spray on protesters, and it urged supporters to flood him with phone calls and emails.

news.yahoo.com...

On youtube the otherday i came across a video of OWS in Tulsa,OK and it showed cops also pepper spraying sitting protesters. I thought about sending the video to some news sources to see if it makes the air.I lived in Tulsa for 20 years and cant not stand the police there they are so arrogant.

Why does the government not want us to have a voice?

i thought the same. Eventually something like that is bound to happen.

I'll tell you where the "nonviolent" thing falls to pieces.

If it is I, protesting and getting hurt, I will play the role of Ghandi and use their violence to shame and discredit them.

If it is my daughter, the pig dies.

And the crowd refused the 'lawful order' to disperse from the law enforcement officers at that original event in Boston. In fact the crowd was throwing things at the officers. America remembers those rioters in a positive light.

Its comments like this that continually get my blood pressure boiling.

APPARENTLY ITS NOW ILLEGAL TO PROTEST - VIOLENT OR NOT - ANY KIND!!!

As that is what your comment and others of the like are implying! Of course the act of protesting is going to break some law of some kind as that is the point! You are showing your disapproval of something! Plus, lawmakers make such laws so in the event this happens...... ITS ILLEGAL!

So the act of protesting is for the most part 'against the law' I am shaking im so furious!!! That pig woulda had my boot to his face! This is where all this is headed! Ridicule me all you want, but how many videos and images of this will it take to wake up!

Non violence should beget non violence. Those kids did nothing to warrent that officers act of flexing his muscle!

Simple really, it was their choice , they should start taking personal responsibility for their own actions!

Stupid people post on internet sites, make themselves look like idiots. You need to take responsibility for your actions. The only thing simple here is you.

These people are actually out there making a stand for something they believe in, its about time more of us did the same. Its really good to see they didnt retaliate with violence, thats exactly what the officer was trying to provoke.
Now is not the time for violence, now is the time to provoke these sorts of incidents and make them public on the internet while we still have an uncensored internet & while we still have the ability to protest. As long as these demonstrations remain peaceful then TPTB cannot enact laws banning demonstrations.
It takes a lot of courage to stand up and be heard, and even more courage to face violence or take a beating and to not react with violence.
Im appalled at the people on here that are defending the actions of this coward police officer. There is no way of justifying his actions at all. I can only hope that one day you do not face such actions, or the actions I fear are yet to come, when the enlightened few start to get results TPTB will become more desperate in their attempts to keep their position of control, using more and more force as they lose their grip on power. People will die, they will be shot, the FEMA concentration camps set up for just such a scenario will start to be used. This has been coming for a long time and it will only get worse. When the financial crisis that is destroying the european economy right now starts to affect the US economy and it will, the crisis of 2 years ago will be like a walk in the park. Im not predicting the future, its already written in their plans, its a planned event, coming to fruition right before our eyes. Certain people have been telling us about this for many years, but not many people were listening. Now I can see that many more people are waking up, normal people have had enough of tyranny, people are protesting their corrupt domineering governments the world over. I have hope that this war for freedom can still be won, but I also fear the bloodshed to come. I know TPTB have already infiltrated this movement and will seek to control its outcome, whoever wins, as they always do, but like in times past we really need to be vigilant and above all have the strength of character to remain strong in our resolve even when times become really desperate and really life threatening. This is just the beginning of something very very big for the freedom of mankind the world over. Dont let the momentum die, make this fight for freedom count, humanity depends on it.
Im not being overly melodramatic, I have been studying this for years, we either stand up and fight the tyranny now, or we lose to it. Its that simple.

If you are mad at me it's possible that you read what I said incorrectly.

Or perhaps I was to vague in making a point.

There is a good chance I took your post the wrong way. After viewing the OP video, combined with other threads of this nature, I was pretty hot. And at the time your post was last in line, and for some reason it pulled the trigger on my little outburst. I was shaking pretty good. I didnt intend to aim all that towards you, just venting the frustration of the moment. What that officer did was, without a doubt, unjustifiable and wrong. As others stated - the police could easily have just picked the kids up and zip-cuff'd them. ABSOLUTELY NO VIOLENCE(aka chemical spray) was needed.

(edit) yes Now that i am calm and in a good mood I can see that your post was meant to be 'pro-protester' , my apologies. Tho I thank for releasing my rage!

I only found out about this movement today, on this very site, but already I can see it has been infiltrated and taken over by some very shady interests. Why does every popular peoples movement get taken over? Isnt there something about that in the protocols of zion? Mmmmm. SMH

Law enforcement obtains all of our information, when we break the law. Why shouldn't the people have his?

I'm sure his wife thinks he's a scumbag as well, I'm sure they expect somekind of social reprecussions for his actions.

..besides, It's already public information once his name is released. Anyone can find it. I don't think it's a good idea for anyone to try and contact him though.

That is exactly how I feel although I would substitute "children" for "daughter" ( I have one of each) and "thug" for "pig".

The "pig" word is something I just can't use and don't like as I have so many relatives that are cops...and they are good men one and all.

Star for your post though - I would absolutely do the exact same thing.

Some people here would defend the cops even if they kicked their mother's teeth out. They won't see until some injustice happens to them

See, the moment the pepper spray would have been used, I would have been in the guy's face.

To hell with civil disobedience, that guy needed a good shove in an eye opening direction. However, I can't help but wonder why in the flying hell would ANY police officer find this an appropriate move on their part? Perhaps its a good thing however.

More and more people are starting to see the brutalization of the little people in a big way. While I hope it doesn't escalate to such violence as Tahrir Square, I can't help but think that 'Non-Violent Protest' is getting us no where.

Non violence gets others on board. They can then see a noble cause in peace in the face of brutality.
If they had attacked the officer that would have opened the floodgates for some real abuse of these protesters and would have given them no moral high ground to stand. They would then no longer be the martyrs, but just more violent thugs which the media would have edited the video and portrayed them to be the criminals not the victims. This is why at this stage non violence is essential.

The protestors had been warned by UC officials to move their tents, some did, some didn't. They resisted moving and the police sprayed them. so what?

Did you even read the article? This wasn't about tents. There weren't tents at this protest I don't believe.
These were students demonstrating on their own campus.
