Tram thugs stamped on head of woman 'because she was dressed as a Goth'

A man and woman were savagely attacked on board a tram by thugs who ridiculed them because of their Goth-style clothes.

A gang of three men shouted abuse at the friends as they waited at a Metrolink platform.

The victims, a man aged 29 and a woman of 22, were followed as they boarded a tram then viciously assaulted.

The woman was head-butted before one thug stamped on her face five times. She suffered a fractured eye socket.

Her friend was punched to the ground then kicked about the face and body as he lay injured between two seats of the tram.

Honestly, weather you wear a suit and tie, jeans and a t-#, bermuda shorts with a dress shirt and pocket protector, a LOIN CLOTH, etc.. No One should be treated this way. Makes me want to take a group there, find these idiots, and attack them; verbally, then physically, in the same manner because they were "dressed as thugs".

And all this goes on in the midst of REAL issues. Oh if ONLY our biggest problem were people dressed like this.

Cowards. Just blatant cowards. An eye for an eye and a tooth for tooth. The law should allow her brothers or other male family or friends 15 minutes with the creeps.

If it happend to my daughter they'd be dead once I found them. If the law got them first and sent them to prison I'd get myself put there just to get them.

Dude you didn't know their clothing was dangerous? bs aside, I get the same response reading stuff like this. I can't began to imagine what is running through their heads let alone what their feelings are. Sometimes you just wish you were there when it's going down so you could have helped but that seemingly never happens. Too bad, if only people were taught to help instead of looking to police for that help crimes like this would go down drastically.

This is outright disgusting behaviour. Belligerant scum like this need a good old dab of karma. But it's human garbage such as these that will have the luck to never recieve their comeuppance.

Sweet, thanks for bringing to our attention a random attack on people. I always come in these threads to ask this question. Why do you people post these types of stories? Wheres the conspiracy? There isnt one.
Its just shock value for stars and flags. And every one of these threads is the same. A snippet of the story and then the OP exclaiming how much he'd like to go burt reynolds on the attackers a$$.

Maybe we should have a new forum called "random senseless violence" and then these people can post the likely 20-30 stories like this every day there.

if i wanted to read these types of stories, i wouldnt be browsing a CONSPIRACY website. Unless of course the conspiracy here is why people post these types of stories.

A similar thing happened a few years back, where a young woman was beaten and kicked to death because she and her boyfriend were dressed like Goths.

It just goes to show, though, that all of those who make claims about ''religion causing all the problems in the world'' or ''if we all were all mixed race then racism would go away'' are living in a la-la fantasy land, devoid of any great understanding of human nature.

Human nature dictates that - given the right set of circumstances - we'll fear and hate anyone who is outside a group we self-identify with. Even if it's just something as stupid as if they wear different clothes.

The only way to prevent this is to tamper around with our genome.

In case you hadn't noticed, this is posted in the "other current events forum". So it's not like this was posted in the general conspiracies forum, or the ufo forum etc.

Not interested? Don't read it. That's what I do when another gay bashing thread shows up, or something else I don't want to partake in.

I hope it's clear for all that their clothing had nothing to do with it. It's just that humans need to justify their actions (instincts) thus this is presented as "the reason".

These men just wanted to inflict violence and anyone passing by that would look "weak" (different) would've been attacked.

I was going to suggest the sterilisation of thug s such as these, but I'll go with your suggestion. Roughian pigs like these disgust me as much as Pedophiles.

Oh i noticed what forum it is in. But did you notice what website we're on?

I always come into these threads to make my point, because threads like these take up space, are essentially useless, and is basically an attempt at easy stars and flags. Its certainly not an attempt to reach out to the victims and help them. Just people saying how tough they are online and what physical violence they would like to inflict on the perpetrators. Very manly.

If i have to wade through crap stories like this to find the real gems on ats, then i will certainly come in here and let my point be known. Also, ive gotten forum applause from ats admins for pointing this out, so hey, even some admins here agree with me. If you wish to talk about this stuff with like minded people, then do it at a website designed for that, not on a conspiracy website. Unless of course, like i said, the conspiracy is why people feel the need to post crap like this,

Well, if you notice the section i posted it in, it's "Other Current Events". Perhaps I have mu understanding of the English language here, but "other" implies not of the usual. And my interpretation of the "Usual" current events is conspiracy related, therefore "Other than conspiracy related" would be this section.

If your going to post a story like this, this is probly the most likely forum to place it in. However, i fail to understand why people post these stories? It doesnt help the victims. And i find this hardly newsworthy considering that stuff like this happens everyday around the world. Id love to see you create a wellthought out thread with lots of sources links and pics.

Want to make a conspiracy thread pertaining to random acts of violence? I would love to read it.
However, there is nothing of real intellectual value in this thread. Just people exclaiming what violence they would do if they could on these people. However, for example, if you were to create a thread on random violence, show us some stats, maybe give us reasons you believe this is more prevalent nowadays, and throw in a good assortment of links for further investigation, i would put my stars and flags behind you!

I guess in part, if people are going to post these stories, atleast put some more time, effort, and substance into it, and i wouldnt mind personally. I just hate seeing threads that look like they took 20 seconds to create. To me that just seems like a quick grab at stars and flags, while having to offer nothing of substance. Take a peak at some of the threads ive authored, or our ugly kitty friend domo1 create. We typically put in a lot of effort, time, and substance into our multiple page stories.

Like i said, give us some actual substance, and maybe even try and tie in a conspiracy angle slightly, and i would be happy to read it!

I personally care less about stars and flags. I'm not here for a popularity contest. Honestly, If you saw the amazing amount of "News" I read every day, and the amount I don't bother to post, you might have a different opinion of what I post.

Personally, I posted it because it shows how petty people can be. Think about it. Millions of kids starving in the world, governments killing their people, and the list goes one. BUT.... 3 guys with presumably nothing better to do, beat the crap out of 2 people just because they were different. Or as one poster thoughtfully mentioned, it didn't matter what they looked like and would have picked on the weakest looking people no matter what.

There's 3 more people that drank way too much of the kool-aid, and now are complacent enough with the way the system is that they don't care at all. Or perhaps they have NEVER drank the Kool-Aid, and are just jerks by nature and are capitalizing on the fact that REAL problems have the police distracted.
