I'm writing an essay over the Disclosure of ET (need advice)

Well I just pulled up my flash drive from back then, apparently I did a lot more research than previously thought when writing that paper (I'll try
and find a way to link to my works cited page or something)...
I guess I used Blue Book, Cometa report, Condon report, Robertson Panel, the Vatican, Avatar, 2001:Space Odyssey, yes even Greer's Disclosure Project ("It's not just about lights in the sky; it's about lies on the ground.") and countless threads and links here at ATS....
found this very rough draft of my thesis statement I believe...
"The fact that we are moving closer to full disclosure, or that it is needed, can be seen by human desensitization of the topic through media saturation, world governments releasing their files, and the breakdown of the lies that factions within our government have been trying to uphold for the past 60 years."...

Careful, this is getting close to cheating now. We aren't allowed to do all their homework for them.
Exopolitics site has a lot to say about this topic but there are so many questionable papers on there too. You might be advised to leave that alone too, it's up to you.

I second that and you would likely impress your teacher more by taking the time to discuss the cases not obviously hoaxes or from questionable people. They can be hard to find, but they are there. Hope you post it when you are done.

Yes. I realize the research was much more fun than actually writing the paper. The power point was cool, watching stunned faces at some of the info I presented to my clueless class mates....

You could write on how it is a self perpetuating money fountain. Basically no matter what the
government does or does not disclose it just makes the disclosure crowd correct. If the government says they don't know anything the disclosure crowd
can say "look it is a cover-up" if the government actually did ever say anything that did disclose UFOs the disclosure crowd would still insist
there was more and continue to push.
The entire disclosure thing is based on the assumption of a lie, so therefore cannot and will not ever be satisfied.

Wow all this information you guys have given has helped so much so far. I've gotten an outline already made and set up.

For starters.... I would Google - Foofighters, and - Space Alien Hiding Behind Fossil Rock [located in the lower right hand corner of the photograph.]
While an interesting subject, and can easily put into essay form, how is this related to the original topic of the essay? How is disclosure a problem
to society and how will you convince the reader that it is?
EDIT: Forgot to ask if it had any word limit? I always hated limits like that, but understand they are designed to force being concise in thought, and this topic could exceed any word amount limits.

I once made a presentation of the Gliese planetary system and the possibility of Earthlike planet and it was accepted a little bit unserious. I could imagine what would've happened were I to talk about UFOs... see such morons who mock at and do not contribute is why we dont have more witnesses speaking...

Problem is when people ramble about it, or the topic given for the essay was not adhered to and they just started writing about aliens. For example, if OP's topic is problems with society, they need to make sure that there is a link between that and their thesis.
I think OP can pull off a great grade depending on his or her talents and so long as they show a clear concise thought on this subject....information overload (with little explanation) can be an often common occurrence when you read essays on the subject.

Do yourself a favor...CHANGE YOUR ESSAY TOPIC! What will start as a teacher who says they are very interested will change over time to become that teachers unexplainable disinterest and you getting a grade of a C- or D.
This is not because of anything that the Agency cares about at all anymore. It is because of the giant SCORCHED EARTH POLICY that bordered on Psychological Nuclear Effect in the minds of anyone of stature at a College or University back in the 1960's and 1970's.
Anyone who is still alive or now has become an important member of a learning institution....who was around back then but is now in a High Position of Authority over your instructor and who's job is to protect that institution....still has this experience from that past event.....BURNED INTO THEIR CONSCIOUS AND SUBCONSCIOUS MIND. I recently talked to my teacher the other day about the topic. I really misunderstood the topic requirements as to what my instructor was wanting. I talked to her about the whole Extra Terrestrial presence and the evidence that has been provided all over the net.
All she is wanting is to have a clear argumentative essay that can clearly convince a reader that we do have an ET presence on our planet. NOT the topic that I originally posted saying my essay was over the problem with the lack of disclosure.
I apologize If I may have confused a few of you! I looked back and realized I totally veered off! Haha

Well, that's a big part of your problem right there. These folks have all contributed to preemptively destroying the credibility of any whistleblower who comes out with a legitimate story by contaminating the field with their bad Sci-Fi. That is, assuming there is something available to the current generation of bureaucrats to disclose.

When I studied Astronomy, my professor told us: ETs have never landed, we are looking for life in space, all these government coverup talkabout is
just conspiracies - CANT blame him, if I were him, I probably wouldn't say in front of a large auditory of around 100 students.
Back then I was even not into these conspiracies at all and also thought no ET has landed here, all are lies, but I didnt think deeply.

I have an idea for a topic that will adhere to your newly posted....TOPIC REQUIREMENT. Now you have to present an essay that clearly convinces the reader of your position on an arguement. How about this?
Essay Topic and Title......TEACHERS: The only profession in the world that a person will be paid for and cannot be fired....reguardless of having ANY ABILITY TO DO THE JOB....or any positive record of PASSING THE COURSE by a majority of their students based on a complete and total inability by Local School Dept. Heads to replace a TEACHER considered OF POOR STANDARDS OF SKILL IN THEIR PROFESSION.....because of acumulated tenure.
If I am a Plumber and I am not good at my job....and all the pipes I work on or weld....leek.....I GET FIRED! If I am a Auto Mechanic....and 6 out of 10 cars I work on....I did not fix properly....and when the customer comes to pick up the vehicle...it does not start....I do not get paid....and if I own my buisness.....and this type of work continues....I can't pay my rent or my loans or..etc....I go out of buisness. If I am a chool Janitor.....and because of my shoddy work.....only 50% of the floors are clean and because I am bad at repair work....the school has broken items detrimental to daily operation....declared UNFIXABLE BY ME...THE JANITOR....BECAUSE MY EXCUSE IS....IT IS NOT MY FAULT....IT IS BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A MODERN ENOUGH BROOM CLOSET AND IT IS NOT MY FAULT THAT A BROKEN QUARTER INCH STEEL LOCKER DOOR IS BENT.....IT WOULDN'T HAVE BENT IF IT WAS MADE USING HALF INCH STEEL!
No matter how bad of a Teacher a person is.....after they aquire tenure....you can NEVER GET RID OF THEM! 80% of the kids in that teachers class could fail....and the TEACHER would still have a job. After all....in their minds...the teachers....THE BUCK STOPS....I DUNNO....NOT HERE! AND THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A BAD TEACHER....JUST BAD KIDS!
