First post, here.
In general, people maintain a concrete image of themselves and an abstract image of themselves. When standing in front of the mirror, the concrete
rules. Given anonymity, the abstraction rules. So if an individual says they're 6'6" and ripped, that's probably because that's how they wish
to see themselves. It doesn't really matter if it's true or not--it's true inasmuch as no one can tell them differently, and they'll usually
defend it to the digital death even if they're 5'2" and 300lb. Let them live with their illusions while they post pics of boy-band members. You
know better, and I know better, so the only injured party is the poster themselves.
By the way, I was 6'7" but lost an inch to knee injuries. That makes me a 6'6"broke-down ex-rodeo cowboy, and the only thing ripped about me is
my back, but it's healing.
