And other than that I wouldn't say I have had no problems whatsoeverer!
Perhaps I could be a tiny bit brainwashed enough to take a rifle from the gun-security cabinet and open fire on any intruder who happens to come acrosss my stuff and and property?
No - seriously man! I'd try to help any fellow man that I find, and especially someone who needs help!
Once again from an European perspective, try to help first - shoot later - but always stay frosty and be prepared for anything!

The ones in the chairs are now flying the drones, in Fort Brag.
They are been assimilated into the borg, none thinking killers who revel in zooming in on the target, never mind about the young children asleep in their beds.
They do as ordered, and target whoever is TOLD to them is the enemy.
They are murderers.

I don't mind men in white coats, though M.I.Bs are more likely, but what does concern Me are these god loving drone borgs out of fort bragg.

They don't pilot drones that fly in the Middle East at Fort Bragg. Army drones are small, unarmed, short range devices that are launched in or immediately around the battlefield for reconnaissance.

We do have people like that in America, and they're usually affiliated with the Neo-Nazis in some way. I would not trust a group of socially, religiously, and ethnically homogenous rednecks with little more than a GED to make the sorts of decisions that a military unit has to. Tellingly, they also have only a small number of actual military veterans. I'd much rather have someone join the military since at least there are rules and consequences in place, not to mention the rigorous training required for someone who has to make those sorts of decisions.
Military training isn't just running around shoot targets. There is rigorous psychological, teamwork, situational analysis, medical, leadership, and legal training that everyone in the military gets. 'I didn't know', 'I didn't mean to', and 'I was following orders' aren't tolerable excuses for misconduct in today's military. You are held accountable for not only your actions, but those of your peers and subordinates. You are required to do everything you can to stop an illegal or unethical situation. To ignore something of that nature means you are held equally accountable even if you didn't pull the trigger.
Everyone in the Third Reich was constantly bombarded with eugenics lessons, not the mention that they were being deployed for Lebensraum. They were also socially, culturally, and ethnically exactly alike. The inhumanity of the people they were conquering was also constantly reinforced. Even then the Germans only barely managed it since many of the Einsatzgruppen personnel developed severe psychological problems. That is most definitely not the case in the modern US Military. If anything they refuse to shut up about the Laws of War. Makes for boring Powerpoint presentations every couple of months, but it also leaves you with no questions as to how you are expected to conduct yourselves.

YOu know, I cannot really comment on the military. I don't have any friends in the military nor have I ever had one on any notable level. I've certainly known of people that were in the military and in a few of the games I've plaeyd online the peolpe I played with were military and sometimes talked about it. For example, in EQ1 (2009-10) I was in Tosk and a fellow guildie told us how the sound of an A-10 flying low was exactly like he imagined a dragon would be. I always thought that was strange and so I remembered it. Additionally, in my raid guild probably half of hte members were military (active duty). But that's about the extent of my exposure to military men adn women. So I really have in the dark about it. Sorry to all of those people who might have served and feel drowned out by people who don't understand what the military is.

Did you not read my previous post? 'I didn't know' 'I didn't mean to' and 'I was just following orders' are not valid excuses, and will not get you out of legal trouble in the military. It doesn't work on petty offenses, and it most definitely won't work for war crimes.
An example: I was an Corporal in the Marines. That means I was in charge of junior enlisted guys. Sort of a middle management supervisor. If I was riding in a car with my fellow Marines, and they were ticketed for speeding then whoever else in the car ranked higher than the driver gets in just as much (if not more) trouble. It doesn't matter if I was in the back seat sleeping, I would still be held responsible. Same goes for uniform inspections. If one of my Marines failed, then I as their NCO would be in trouble right alongside them.

I can see how an emotional group of people who believe in a cause (or false belief of who they are) can degenerate into Tyrants. You can see it on this forum and it has nothing to do with rank. The sophists in the D.C. are controlling the actions of the military. They are probably already moved to the comfortable new headquarters in the rocky mountains. Do you know why the CIA has moved their bunkers to colorado? Most military and ranking intelligence would give the keys to The Pentagon for the proper piece of meat tells me all I need to know about our glorious government. It's a swindle and the American people (the poor mostly) suffer as they continue to fall for the lies. "I love the smell of napalm in the morning." Can't wait for the food shortages to begin here in America that is when the fun begins!
Thanks for serving in the military, but I continue my cynical views on the Government "War on Terror."edit on 27-12-2011 by MarkScheppy because: add

It never ceases to amaze me how people that have no clue about the military can have so much to say about. Your militia is basically the National Guard. I know this is a conspiracy site but you talk about waking up and smelling the coffee may I suggest you do the same. For those of us who have served our country we know what it is to be a civilian and we have been soldiers. We can speak for both sides because it is a matter of experience and knowledge which gives us wisdom. Stop using terms like wet work you obviously do not have a clue about what a soldier is. I believe you have us confused with the character in a movie that you watch and for that matter the character must have been an assassin or spy and not a soldier. Wet work really? I don't think I have ever used that term or heard it while I was in the military.
I tell you what, there is a TV show called on bomb patrol Afghanistan it is the real deal. Try watching a few episodes of that before you chime again. Maybe just maybe you will get an idea of what it is really like out there. To be honest those guys are pretty lax but it is only because their job is so damn dangerous that they can get away with not being dress right dress.

Sorry I don't watch "episodes" on where we are bombing other countries in real time. That is where I get fed up with the "yank" sophistry. By the way reading the "real deal" on the news verifying the conspiracay buzz about a law for detaining American civilians is coming to prophecy. National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which gives the U.S. military the power to arrest, detain, interrogate, torture and murder U.S. citizens inside the United States, with no due process. Gitmo is about to be filled with Americans as part of this "war on terror," the destruction of the United States Constitution.
The troops coming back now from Iraq will probably be used for something like Rex-84 here in America (enforcing this new act). I am talking to a Marine online who is telling me to be careful and keep my eyes open on what is about to happen because this is all inevitable. The Bill of Rights and Habeas Corpus is caput. But television news is about athlete marrying models and ultra slick new toys the NATO (American) military forces is using to bomb other countries. Reading Confucius, he would probably not know how to "chime" in today's age, he believed that the nature of Man is Good. But if you see how we are out right destroying ourselves and now building predator Spy drones on American civilians, he would probably develop a new philosophy. America military will probably soon have new uniforms with a Snake or a symbol such like.edit on 29-12-2011 by MarkScheppy because: add
