I know, right? Nothing beats the fun of imposing your will onto other people. Whether it's blasting music from your car or ipod so loud the people at the back of the bus can hear it or cranking up a stereo to dance in front of a bunch of other people who arent there for dancing or music it's all a complete blast!!

how come i have this feeling that those opposing this concept have dogs that bark all night in the yard, an extra loud harly and constantly have loud arguments that the entire neighborhood can hear?

I wont even mow the lawn if anybody within ear shot is in their homes.

On a few occasions the grass was getting plenty long and refusing to bother anyone I cut the whole yard with a scythe.

It causes me embarrassment and discomfort to think I could cause discomfort to others. Perhaps a bit extreme. It may just be extreme enough to balance out those "loud pipes save lives" jackasses of which I would have to say the "crank it up and dance in the coffee shop" folks share a behavior in kind: "Hey everyone, look at me, look at me!!"

yet, i have no problem differentiating between constant loud pipes or something similar and dancing to a single tune in a coffee shop.i don't even think it lasted 5 minutes, total.

babies that just will not quit crying.
people who insist on overwhelming any conversation. can't get a word in type of thing.
worse than a single song being danced to.

Believing somebody is overwhelming a conversation may be symptomatic of your own desire to overwhelm the conversation. Two "type A" persons trying to talk. Those discussions are not worth having since they inevitably end in either hostilities or mutual choir preaching. Both of which are unproductive.

it is my belief that many who are completly convince of their version of the truth have no desire to discuss other concepts.

Religion and politics? Add the Great Pumpkin in there and you've got the trifecta.

If they seem wholly unwilling to entertain a proper discussion then just walk away. Your time is too valuable to waste. Even the Big Bad Wolf couldnt blow down a brick wall.
