There is NO God!

That's right, you heard me, He doesn't exist.

If there was a God, 911 would still JUST be a telephone number.

If there was a God, little children wouldn't be dying of cancer while their parents become homeless to pay for his therapy.

If there was a God, innocent bystanders wouldn't be frequently heard on the 6 o'clock news.

If there was a God, bad things wouldn't happen to good people.

This list can go on forever, but I think I made my point.

Duh, god is a figment of our imaginations, the explanation of the unexplainable, primitive reasoning for the unknown. Fear of death, the unknown, and things that go bump inthe night is what gods were made for.

First of all, Mac- I watched South Park last night to.

If you believe in God, you are taught that God gives us freewill. With that, me make decisions. Both good and bad. God has a special place for widows and orphans. He also has a special place for people who help them become that way. I wont dip any lower here. All I can say is, school must be out today..

Now, first off, I don't believe in a God... However, I have my own ideas about things that don't fall into an "ism".

But, I once heard an excellent answer to this, and from an unlikely source....the Oh God movies...specifically, Oh God! Book II...

I believe this book contains a bunch of contradictions. In one section the supposed "god" says one thing and then a few pages forward he begin to contradict himself and say the total opposite. I do believe that this is definitely a good book for anyone who lacks any kind of self-worth. Someone who can't think on their own without someone else telling them what to do. However, unfortunately if you are looking for a book to give you spiritual enlightenment. Just forget it! The author who is supposedly "god" just simply walks you around in circles and doesn't really take you anywhere. I walked away from reading this book feeling like what is the point! As I'm sure many other level headed people will do. Don't get caught up in his mumbo jumbo- don't get lost in the deep woods that he likes to lead you through. At the end of this book you will still be left asking your questions about why we are here, whether or not there is a god, and what could possibly be his purpose for us? So, if that's the case- just don't even bother.

I have to agree with the thread. There is no god. A man made creation.

On last nights episode, Cartman got a bunch of money and opened a theme park that he wouldnt let anyone into. Kyle got a huge hemmoroid and was hospital ridden. While laying there he started questioning his faith (he's a jew). He realizes that God doesnt exist, because of all the unfairness in life. How could God let Cartman have a theme park. Why would god give that a-shole money and me just a huge hemmoroid.

But then, everything gets messed up for Cartman and Kyles hemmoroid gets better. Kyle regains his faith when he realizes that all will be well in the end.

Anyrate, this guys thread started almost exactly as Kyles rant was last night. Think its just here to get people fired up.

Sure. But what if there is a God and he/she is like Crom, from the Conan books. With Crom it is essentially: "Here's your world. I made it for you, protect it, destroy it, it's up to you, I'm outta' here." Then all of this shouldn't be a big deal to comprehend, bad things/good things happen. Deal with it and move on or be consumed by stagnation.
