How long was this debate? He said that was the end of the first hour, but I thought it was only an hour long? Did Paul only get that 89 seconds for the rest of the debate?

I swear they censor Paul like they did Elvis in the day. His words are too provocative to show on TV like a pair of gyrating hips were too sexually provocative for the post WWII generation. But unlike then, the people aren't screaming for a sexual revolution, the people are screaming for an honest intellectual revolution.

So far Ron Paul is the only one who answers a question directly!
How many times can Mitt answer his own questions and not the one presented? How many times can he redirect the question toward Obama? JUST ANSWER THE GODDAMN QUESTION! Then He first says it's not against the Iranian people then says more sanctions? Doesn't that just hurt the people?
Newt says covert military attacks?
I see the same ole crap except for one man.
Host: "Again, security, Mr. Cain. Could you broaden your answer some, and bring it together for us?" Herman Cain: "Apples and Oranges." *crowd cheers*

I read a couple years ago that Iranian students were suggesting sanctions....so that should tell you something. The students are against the dictatorship. And what did POTUS do about the revolution protests there? The answer is NOTHING. He completely turned his back on those students getting beat by the Iranian Guard.edit on 13-11-2011 by ThirdEyeofHorus because: (no reason given)edit on 13-11-2011 by ThirdEyeofHorus because: (no reason given)

And who helped us in our revoltion? Aside from France being in their own war at the time, absolutely nobody. We did it on our own and so can they.

Yeah, it suggests that those "students" were CIA operatives. or that they were just terribly, terribly stupid people.
Sanctions punish the people of a nation for the crimes of its leaders. Sort of like how austerity punished the citizens of a nation for the misdeeds of its elite. Sanctions simply do not work, ever.
But damn, CBS! If you're going to give him a podium, give him his fair damn share of time! Frankly this holes for all the candidates, but when even Huntsman gets more time? Damn, that ain't right.
“What he should do is whatever he wants to do and assume responsibility for himself,” Paul responded, adding, “That’s what freedom is all about, taking your own risk. This whole idea that you have to compare and take care of everybody…”
The audience erupted into cheers, cutting off the Congressman’s sentence.
After a pause, Blitzer followed up by asking “Congressman, are you saying that society should just let him die?” to which a small number of audience members shouted “Yeah!”

What? You are just making a wild assumption with zero basis. Also I read of this before the Iranian protest.edit on 13-11-2011 by ThirdEyeofHorus because: (no reason given)
