So, OWS has finally given me an outlet to speak. While exploring the interwebs, i have been given the chance to learn of this site... I was in a good debate with someone that provided links from here. I started to explore and found this place a nice area to speak and discuss topics that are very important too me. to those that created this place and to those that enjoy keeping it going, I must say thankyou.

A lil about me.

1.I am a veteran of the Bosnian and Iraq wars.

2. I want to cut to some intel thats funny:
I was apart of 3/7 Cavalry. I was the 5th vehicle to cross the line back in 2003. with just a few moments of anyones time, you will find that my unit fought in more battles, sooner and more deadly than any other unit.

About one week into the conflict, officers of the Iraqi military came too us to discuss the terms of stopping the war. They came with a truckload of WMD's. In the truck were missiles that we came to find were Blister agents...the worst kind of chemical agents created by man.

the advance was halted for 24 hours.

Our NBC guy ended up being "kidnapped"

the weapons were taken that night by a blackhawk filled with SF.

And, one last thing...

on the side of those weapons it said...in english: CAB. it means: Chemical Agent Blister. and then, an American flag.

Everytime I find a place that I find and feel can digest this info, my post is deleted. I hope someone reads this.

peace,
a freedom fighter

Welcome to ATS. I hope to read more in the forums from your perspective as having served in both places. I imagine you have some hard earned opinions about a lot of what is going on around us these days! I'm sure you'll fit in well.

This may be the place that doesn't delete your posts. First, thank you for your service, as it is appreciated by me. Second, welcome to ATS, enjoy your stay.

I will say that I am looking forward to reading more of your posts, especially concerning the info you just mentioned. At first I was stunned with WMDs in Iraq, and became even more stunned with the US flag on them. That is quite a statement for sure, and it would be great to buy into. But, the one thing that you'll find here is that people love to be sourced, or see some kind of proof to what is posted. Now, please understand that I am not saying your lying, but be ready for the common internet phrase of "pics or it didn't happen". Anyways, welcome, and I will wait anxiously for a thread on the topic your just mentioned.

Lulz, no... obviously they were some of the weapons that we sold them back in the 80's during the Iran/Iraq war. I just find it funny that there is no mention of it by the "mainstream media" Walt Rodgers was our embeded reporter. he made a small mention of a truckbed of weapons, but it has been deleted from the web, and he made no mention of the battles in his book he wrote: Sleeping with Custer

They told us he was found, supposedly he got lost... impossible. You don't go anywhere unless you are ordered too. It just so happens, he was lost after he went to test just what those weapons were. we never saw him again... he was a friend. I hope that they did not murder him.

First thanks for your service from another veteran. The US flag on the side of bombs I wondered if that was not the case why they never made major headlines on finding them.

This is no news at all for anyone who has actually researched into who makes Chemical weapons and who we sell them to.

Reports by the US Senate's committee on banking, housing and urban affairs -- which oversees American exports policy -- reveal that the US, under the successive administrations of Ronald Reagan and George Bush Sr, sold materials including anthrax, VX nerve gas, West Nile fever germs and botulism to Iraq right up until March 1992, as well as germs similar to tuberculosis and pneumonia. Other bacteria sold included brucella melitensis, which damages major organs, and clostridium perfringens, which causes gas gangrene.

OP- Maybe before you signed up for the military, you shoulda checked into the world's largest terrorist supplier......the good ole USA!

Okay...so, in order to add some credence to your claims, what was your friend's name?

I am sure we can find some information about this lost/murdered correspondent.

Not possible. A Black Hawk loaded down with special forces and carrying a standard armament would already be at its load capacity, it would not be able to carry a "truckload" of WMDs.

In addition, it is illegal for the US to manufacture or stockpile chemical weapons per the Chemical Weapons Convention. If the US were to foolishly go against this convention and manufacture chemical weapons, there is not a chance in hell that they would label them and slap a US flag on them. I call BS on this tale.

Go to the Chemical Weapons Convention website and read their documents section.

Iran filed a protest against the United States for bombing the chemical weapons bunkers in Iraq. Violated the Treaty. Chemical weapons have to be destroyed safely. Not blown up so they enter the atmosphere. They also claim the US flew out some of those weapons and didn't declare it to the Convention.

The US replied. Page 5 of the US reply says yes....we bombed those chemical weapons bunkers.

Which were declared to the Convention and controlled by them.

I think those chemical weapons likely came from us and we didn't have the $$$ to safely get rid of them.

Same with Libya....I bet their chemical weapons came from England or us, they used to be our friends back then.

I bet they get blown up so England or us don't have to fork out the bones to pay to get rid of them.
