Based on all I have ever learned about the description of a 'grey', this image seems to have the most going for it in my book.

The story behind the image was that there was to be a test to see how the public would react to the image of a grey so this one image was used in a marketing campaign for an American company, possibly Polaroid.I captured the image years ago before anyone was too internet savvy. I did not think to save the url or the original post of which this image was the subject. Subsequently, having read probably many hundreds of descriptions of greys, or j-rods', this image seems to be as close as any I have read of. Note the circular feature on the side of the skull. This sort of feature...in my opinion...is not the sort of thing one includes when constructing a doll or puppet for commercial use. I would tend to think that such a feature would be regarded by many as a defect in the construction and that efforts would be made to remove it from the image. I wish I had an image of the full body as there is another important feature to be found on the legs which is very, very rarely reported upon.

Interesting, ive never come across that photo before, we could be onto a winner!

Thanks Isaac, I'd not seen that thread.

That always looked a bit like one of those surgery lights to me you used to see in Dentists and Doctors offices. Like they just pointed a camera at it and snapped a photo. Same shape as a couple I've seen over the years.

I seem to remember that one being from a magazine ad of some sort. So many of these my memory fails me these days as they blur together. I think there is a thread where it was identified as to who generated it?

It is a well done graphic however. A real picture would not be in staged lighting in a studio as this one is of course.

In this case, you probably are right but on the whole, it raises the question....would we even be able to tell if one really stood out from the rest because everyone seems to be able to pick something out of each and every photo!?

The government/s love it because they've got the sceptics right where they want us when it comes to seeking the truth, if they are hiding something, they're doing a damm fine job!

Nope. That "alien" was created for an Amoco advertisement.

A search on "Amoco alien advertisement" will find quite a few links with most of the relevant background. I haven't typed up online the several pages of information within the relevant entry in my database of infamous alien photos. (This is entry number 48 in that database).

It's a cool image though.

That is the exact problem of course.

I do a lot of graphics work and more and more 3D modeling and renders all the time, so I follow the innovations very closely.

The only reason they cannot start using characters on TV that are indistinguishable is the computers are behind the tech and not yet powerful enough. As the computers improve and it becomes possible we may start to see characters on shows that would fool anyone.

Luckily though the real talent would never ruin a career by engaging in deception.

I think an important point is that real sightings are and always have been very rare, while cases of mistaken identity and out and out fraud are very common. There may only be one real case every couple of decades to be honest and yet we see how many a year? That is a huge problem.

I find personal accounts from believable people to be far more interesting now. But even then you have to do due diligence and know who the person reporting is. Any job they may have had or any title they have are meaningless. I ask myself does this person have a reason to participate in a hoax. Anything anonymous or from questionable sources you have to ignore because there are too many.

A huge problem is attention seekers or those with Web Sites that have a reason to push a false agenda. The Internet is crawling with phony stuff.

Any way you slice it, expect to spend most of your time looking into garbage because the search for anything real is hidden behind a mountain of crap.

Thanks again Isaac. I knew I remembered that being shot in a studio for an ad. Too many to remember. I need to put something together in Access to keep everything together and I never seem to get around to it.

Of course, I could tell you, but then......

The reason I deliberately left that hanging in the wind was that I wanted to see if ANYONE here, privately or publicly could come up with the feature to which I am referring. It is apparently not found on all greys, but at least one subset of them. I have it on unimpeachable authority that if a witness, contactee or abductee came up with this feature on their own without any prompting on the part of the interviewer that the case was deemed more likely to be legitimate and not the product of a hoax.

So, if I may beg your indulgence here, could we just sit back a bit to see if someone can produce the information? I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Well, I've got a Word document containing a few hundred pages of notes on such images - which I'm gradually knocking into shape to put online. I also need to integrate information contained in quite a few emails and some other material not yet incorporated into that Word document...

A couple of years ago Internos kindly turned my notes into a database, but I never put it online because I wanted to put my notes into better shape and look into a few hundred issues to make the notes more comprehensive. It's a low priority for me, which means it will take forever...

The Ilkley Moor case, apparently testing found it to be a photo of a genuine object, as to whether that object is an alien, we rely on the testimony of the policeman who claims he was abducted, although "abducted" maybe too strong a word given the claimed kindness and lack of malice displayed by the beings.

My problem is I use programs like Access so infrequently, I have to learn all over again each time I use it. I built a complex setup for my office years ago and I'm not sure I could repeat it.

Access would be a great way to put something like this together though. I hate that kind of software though. Every time I start to spend time in it, I end up in graphics software playing and blow it off.

At some point it would be great if it all came together in searchable PDF's. Huge undertaking though.

Is it that the male aliens have a 15 inch penis and their right nipple pierced whilst the females have 6 and half vaginas and a hairy chest? YES i'm sure that's it
