In Tehran, Demonstrations Commemmorate 1979 U.S. Embassy Takeover – And Show Solidarity With 'Occupy Wall Street,'

The ruling regime also created a website in Arabic supporting OWS which predicts the fall of the US:

wsfall.com...

They have an English version on:

wsfall.com...

I will point out that the English version is a little different than the arabic one, use google translate on it if your interested. I was also surprised to see and article on the site about Slavoj Zizek, one of my favorite authors.

Anyway, I am not posting this to either smear or support OWS, I just think it's interesting.

edit: funny thing about the in the picture I linked to- in the background of the posters with the picture of the guy, there is a portrait of the same guy, like on Steven Colbert's set lol.

Very interesting, although I dont see this as being good.
Regardless of how I feel about OWS, this gives the government a chance to further demonize the OWS movement, and may even go so far as to claim some OWS members may have ties to Iran.
If things get out of hand, any blame on OWS may also be blamed on Iran, as another excuse to start a war potentially... saying something like, "oh, see, Iran has operatives within the US, trying to covertly declare war - preemptively on US soil, blah blah blah."
That may seem to be a stretch, but either way, nothing good can come of this. For those who are big supporters of the OWS movement may want to be careful where this leads.

Another reason to NOT support OWS.

The reasons keep adding up to these protests being nothing but politically motivated considering the following supports OWS: Nazi party, communist party, Obama, Al Sharpton and now Iran.

EDIT to add: North Korea and the Union bosses/thugs also support OWS.

Don't forget the government of North Korea.

Also, a slew of criminal activity.

I wonder if the Koch Brothers and Bush called in favors from Iran who they were selling all that equipment too. Just to get them to try and make OWS look bad. Seems strange does it not that the Tea Party Bush and the Koch Brothers would truley be the ones that are connected and makng deals with Iran but they try and act like Iran is connected to OWS.

What equipment?

Just to get them to try and make OWS look bad.

They're doing that themselves.

I guess people have short memories.
This only came out last month.
www.bloomberg.com...

“Every single chance they had to do business with Iran, or anyone else, they did,” Bentu, 46, says.

Bentu, a German engineer who earned his master’s degree in chemical engineering from Montana State University in Bozeman in 1990, joined Koch-Glitsch in 2001. His duties included drawing up bids for potential buyers of the company’s distillation equipment, which is used in making fuels, fertilizers, detergents and other products.

Bentu says he had been working at Koch-Glitsch in Viernheim, about 80 kilometers (50 miles) south of Frankfurt, for two months when he first saw an order destined for Iran. Concerned that the transaction might run afoul of U.S. law, Bentu asked his manager about it, he says. Bentu says his boss told him not to worry, that the company’s U.S. lawyers made sure the deals with Iran were legal.

U.S. companies have been banned from trading with Iran since 1995, when President Bill Clinton declared it a threat to national security. Iran supports Iraqi militants and Taliban fighters as well as terrorist groups, including Hamas and Hezbollah, according to the U.S. State Department.

Well that does it!
That's what I've been waiting for to persuade me to join the OWS ranks!

From your source.

She immediately notified her supervisors in the U.S. A week later, Wichita, Kansas-based Koch Industries dispatched an investigative team to look into her findings, Bloomberg Markets magazine reports in its November issue.
By September of that year, the researchers had found evidence of improper payments to secure contracts in six countries dating back to 2002, authorized by the business director of the company’s Koch-Glitsch affiliate in France.
“Those activities constitute violations of criminal law,” Koch Industries wrote in a Dec. 8, 2008, letter giving details of its findings. The letter was made public in a civil court ruling in France in September 2010; the document has never before been reported by the media.

They discovered this activity themselves.

And how does this relate to either the Tea Party or your ridiculous assertion that this has anything to do with Iran backing OWS? You do know that Iran's government is anti-American right? And if they can take advantage of anti-capitalist, leftists groups in America they will.

They fired the woman who found the sales being made.
Hows that for Koch doing thier own policing.

You don;t know what the Koch Brothers have to do with the Tea Party?

Why was she fired?

Look, I'm not a fan of the Koch Industries. I find their secretiveness very troubling.

However, I fail to see the connection between this and your accusation that somehow Bush and the Tea Party are behind Iran's support for OWS.

Edit:

I know they fund American's for Prosperity which funds a few Tea Party orgs.

Yeah but it would also be blamed on NK.

If anything happens here due to OWS getting out of hand anymore than they already have it will only be blamed on OWS.

The KKK supported the Tea Party. I guess all TPers are in league with them.

Sounds stupid? Good, because that's how idiotic people sound trying to tie protesters to the Iranian gov.

kukluxklan.bz...

The Ku Klux Klan, LLC. Does NOT support or represent the "TEA PARTY". Our Associates, members and supporters are here officially ordered: NOT to attend Tea Party events or support them in ANY way. The Tea Party does not represent any but a shallow limited political agenda, which fails to serve our Nations interests. They are an extension of the Republican Party and seek to compromise it. We do NOT support any political party, all have betrayed the trust of the American people, and they have compromised their agenda to support the Progressive Socialist enslavement of the American people.

If you are referring to David Duke, he also endorsed OWS
