In my front yard there is a 1,000 pound stone I lifted out of the creek and carried up the hill. There are two more 2,000 pound stones at my pool that I also moved without modern technology. I did it alone.

How? It was simple. I made a tripod out of some trees and suspended a beam from a rope hanging from the center of the tripod. I strapped one end to the rock I wanted to move and the other to a box that I put scrap metal in. Using the beam as a balance I lifted the rocks out of the creek and placed them on sleds that had wooden rollers under them and rails under the rollers. I was able to move the one ton stones with one hand and carefully replaced rollers with the other. Once I came to an incline I set my tripod back up and lifted and moved the rocks 10ft at a time until I stacked them at my pool patio the way I wanted them. I hardly broke a sweat and it only took me a couple days to do it.

No technology, no pulleys, no metal needed. (Any heavy thing would have worked as a counterweight.) One man with a little brains did it by himself. Why is the one in the front yard half the size of the ones at my pool? My side yard is kinda steep and I am a lazy man. So I did a smaller stone because it was easier and faster.

pics, or it didn't happen

The egyptologists are all wrong.

Really? Evidence that these poor bastard have never gotten ANYTHING right? lol

The earily egyptians didn't build the pyrimids or even the sphinx. I saw a program a couple years back and a group of geologists found at the base of the sphinx fossolized ocean mollusks, and other ocean creatures.

The entire Giza plateau is made up of limestone which has fossil seashells in it because the limestone forms at the bottom of oceans......TV always beats research for accuracy!

They want us to believe that folks that didn't have the wheel, using only cooper chizels and rocks to pound the stone with built the pyrimids and the sphinx. and lifted it all with rope made of nile grass. And they say it only took 20 years to build..

Well by your logic, if you don't have wheels you cannot move rocks - so what about the Maya, Aztecs, Inca, Easter Island, Polynesians, Gobekli Tepe, Stone Henge, etc, etc/ No wheels lots of rocks moved. They made rope out of leather & papyrus reed - which is remarkably strong care to tell me the tensile strenght of 4 inch cordage made from this?

Some of those blocks weight over 200 tons, even our machines that cut rocks and lift them would have a very hard time building something so complex and lets not forget earthquake proof in a 20 year time frame.

Some are actually 300 tons. We have big machines that can do much better than that. In historic times men moved a 1250 rock without mechanical help - how could they do that? You might want to consider the movement of Egyptian obelisks form Egypt to Rome and their being set up once then again after they had fallen. They are not earthquake proof and have taken damage from them. The Arab recorded an earthquake that knocked the clading stones from one pyramid

There are many rocks in the quarry which have distinct machine cuts in there sides.

Which quarry was that - I do hope you're not quoting Mr. Dunn.....

Which can only come from a rock saw that uses a laser or water jet, or diamond bit to cut.

In your unevidenced opinion, in reality they used other methods and showed how they did it in images. Have you tried looking at actual research on these questions?

I'd say WAR came. A global war, which wiped out most of the ancient worlds population. Destroyed the machines, and killed off all the technical folks that knew how to run and mantain said machines.

Good idea but zero evidence to back it up and lots of evidence that nothing of the sort happened

No pics on the quarry but I've been to giza and saw first hand the things I mentioned. That was back in the earily 80's before hand held camcorders. And well I was the only fool that didn't bring a camra, shoot me. But I know what I saw. Just like the nazca lines I got to fly over them a few years ago. There real. Just like this cool red city I visited in the yucatan it was recently uncovered back in 1998. Got to touch a 3500 year old structure. Making tactile contact with something beats all pictures. Just like siting on the bench at glastonbury Tor, and mediating and seeing wild things. No pictures cause I don't have film that shoots in infared or ultraviolet. but it was real.
Alot of stuff in the world can't be explained. but theres no reason to shoot down someone that has visited the sites and seen and felt them in person.
Just because they didn't get a snap shot of an event...

Why don't you take the time and visit the places, then you can tell everyone its not real..

Apparently he doesn't!

Howdy Eye of Horus. I was an archaeologist early in my career; I've dug in Hawaii, Mexico, Easter Island, Cyprus (excavations at Kalavassos-Tenta as part of the Vasilkos project), Syria, Israel and Jordan. I just spent the last twenty years working the in the Middle East where I drove my wife mad going to sites in every country except Yemen and Iraq (curse you Saddam Hussein) --- yeah I've touched a few rocks, pottery, skeletons and other artifacts in my time!

So what did you find so find in Egypt that was so remarkable that the skills of the AE craftmen are dismissed?

Oh rly?

Then please explain to me what are the magic alien ships that travel our oceans which can lift over 14000 tonnes? Its impossible! We cant even cut rock straight with our high tech machines!

Its quite ironic that the just plain false figure of what the ancients lifted that was multiplied 10 times in the original post, is what we can lift today. And for many thousands of peoples, its just another day at work.
