I don't even bother anymore. I broke with my father 8 ye. Nobody understands that except for one special person, I think I'll call her tomorrow
We have less contact since I moved away further and I do miss her.

Sounds like a great reason and a good time to reconnect!

Many blessings to you!

All the same for you. I must admit your energy has a healing effect on me and I'm really grateful for that!

Thank you so much, that reply really moved me

Funny thing is I played some violent games when I was young. I never dreamed of it except one time, when I was top of the world playing Unreal Tournament in hardcore instagib mode (instagib means one shot, one kill, those were skills back in the day kids! lol) I had a lucid dream of me jumping around like a monkey as I would in the game, launching beams at everyone in a deathmatch game. Loool so funny I suddenly remember this

But since a long time ago I refuse to occupy myself with anything violent. I play the occasional race/strategy/rpg/manager game, so nothing cruel. I refuse to watch "action movies" and I don't look at clips on the internet where they show for example the dead Ghadaffi or the Chinese kid that got run over and abandoned by everyone passing it... So there's no recent violent imagery to be processed by my brain at night...

I wish you peace also

LOL I played UT too I know what a gib is LOL I am a bit older than you and in my early 30's I too had this repulsion to all the violence (still mostly do). Had a brief episode where I went to a therapist because I was having violent thoughts (things like oh a knife is sharp and really can kill) silly things like that…but it really frightened me. This was around when I had some big changes in my life and a little trauma and thinking back I had dreams like that myself. I had (yes had as I think the stress triggered it and you can be cured) a mild form of OCD and learned that intrusive thoughts doesn't mean I am crazy, bad dreams doesn't mean I am bad. I learned to deal with them and honestly don't have them any more.

You mentioned you are depressed this also feeds it if that makes sense. You are depressed you have bad dreams from bad dreams you get more depressed because you had bad dreams. See the cycle?

Your mind is trying to tell you something...either analyse the dream or learn how to lucid dream and find out what you are trying to work out. Doesn't matter if the content was recent I have just found that can trigger it.

Dreams can be mildly (or completely) prophetic I had many of those when Bush was taking office loads of fighting war type ones (I have never been to war). So I took charge of those fears and made a list of things I can prepare for and things that well I put into God's hands. I can say my early 30's were very hard for me, so I hope they are better for you.

My opinion is that as long as you're releasing some of that anger in your dreams, it will help you to cope in real life. However, you may want to find someone you can talk to keep these from bottling up and eventually exploding in real life.

I agree!
This is not an insinuation ok? If you (or anyone reading this) have a non-dream related violent outburst happen or about to happen. Seek help! Talk to someone IRL not just on a chat or a message board. Seek out a therapist, a nurse, or a counselor, someone who is paid to listen. There is no shame in finding help at all and anyone who tells you there is, is in my book psychotic anyway LOL Real men can ask for help cowards hide, deny and then lash out...

Things are hard right now and finding inner peace is not easy but there is always hope, so don’t despair or be so hard on yourself. Doing things in dreams is our safety net, our holodeck/virtual reality tester. But when internal violence or pain manifests in the real world or onto others we then we are really doing wrong.

Thanks for the GODLIKE!!! (UT pun :p) reply. I had to google OCD because I'm Dutch speaking. And didn't know anything about this disorder and frankly I should check up on this because I suffer from anxiety. I even match some of the symptoms (like moving my leg up and down very fast while seated or checking if I have my keys with me 5 times before I close the door...). This might be an important key for solving many of my current problems and therefore I thank you!

*unstoppable* lol

Yes to get it checked out! I had a lot of the symptoms before I went in too. Depression, anxiety etc...But if they want to medicate you there are things you can do and not be medicated. Diet and exercise are very important. I was medicated for a little bit and did not like the side effects. So I got a good diet and exercise routine and I have few problems in about 10 years!

Yes some of the things you said sounded like OCD (but I am no expert). The mind can do some pretty goofy things when it is imbalanced.

I hope this has helped and at least relieved some of your anxiety.

Peace be with you brother!

*Dominating!* (I can't stop it, I even hear the voice-act in my head, lol)
Well I'm not a fan of medication either, I hardly take it. I even pass on paracetamol when I have a headache, I just let it be until it's over. Good thing I'm already planning in doing more physical exercise!

Thanks for the help and have a nice day!

Thank you for that link all those things they mentioned I have felt inside my whole life and have been called alot of those things by many. I have had visions that have came true from dream with my 11's more than I wish.

I have showed many people that doubted when I have a feeling a 11 is on the clock they look it's there, Preacher's, atheists, and every type of life and concept you can throw. They have seen it. I have been justified and proved true. So a conspiracy site approval is not on my list.

But most will say I lie, but I love that, cause the fullfillment is the truth I know inside and the truth of what I know is coming that I will not share, ever. It's just not worth my time typing it, I believe it should be shown IN PERSON. Then those whom doubt my 11:11 would change their tune.

It's time for the blind to find out for themselves. Thank you for that link again! God Bless.

Dreams of violence are very normal for males. I rx you not worry about the violent dreams you are having. Most males have them all of the time.

I think you just answered your own question.

What are you running away from? Have you been a target of bullying at some point in your past or present life? Do you not receive the respect you think you deserve? Are you looking for closure of something/someone? Not happy about an element of your present life?
