This is probably the most hilarious burying of bad news
Iran is currently in a power struggle with Khamenei afraid that the "Arab spring" will spread into Iran and trying to get rid of any remnants of foreign planted spies by West who are assassinating their scientists.
Israel wants public minds off the fact they are screwing over their own people with high costs of living to fund their own war fantasies.
Iran threatens to have the bomb and frightens its own people into submission with propaganda saying Israel is going to attack them (When they probably don't even have the capability to move their bombs out of the country). Israel keeps getting off on its war boner. Everyone wins.
