I think this says it all.
Wouldn't it be ironic if we finally learned to communicate with whales and all they wanted to talk about was Seinfeld episodes?

Come on Beez ! Why post a thread when you're lacking material ? Way short on your own text and to top it all off ?
A thread about nothing.
Silly rabbit.

I agree that I'd rather protect whales than most humans. We're a curse, a cancer, a scourge.
I would support giving captive whales certain rights. I'm not so lost to believe that humans are better in any way.
Not sure how insuring a creature is treated with dignity and respect deserves a facepalm. So I guess I'll change my mind now, I do have a nominee:
Anyone who thinks animals are working pieces of meat to be used however we see fit should get the Facepalm Award. Anyone who believes that they have some special license to destroy everything around them simply because they are human deserves the Facepalm Award.
Of course, back then, Illinois state Sen. Barack Obama was solidly against the impending “dumb war” in Iraq. He told an anti-war rally that, “Saddam poses no imminent and direct threat to the United States, or to his neighbors, that the Iraqi economy is in shambles, that the Iraqi military is a fraction of its former strength, and that in concert with the international community he can be contained until, in the way of all petty dictators, he falls away into the dustbin of history.” Again, replace “Saddam” with “Gadhafi” and “Iraq” with “Libya” and you could have a ready-made anti-kinetics speech, 2011-style.

I don't know where this crappy attitude comes from or why anyone would star it. Humans are also kind, loving, and intelligent.
I am disgusted by the "humans are what's wrong with the earth" crowd. YOU get my face palm award.
