Nice! I am up playing a little BF3 and it moved my chair a bit. Seems like there was a 3.4 right after it but I missed that one.

Why is this in the Philosophy and Metaphysics forum?

It shook, therefore it was?

Im thinking someone is out drilling too close to the cracks again. The faults here are really old, from what I understand, so we dont get too much movement.

It was my mistake in the excitement of the jolt. Please move the post where it needs to be placed.

I'll bet it was exciting to say the least. First off, everyone OK? Second, what did it feel like? Was it sharp and bouncy or like long rolling waves?

It felt like a jolt for lack of a better explanation. Two sharp movements. My computer is set up in the Garage so its on a hard concrete slab.

Nice SKS btw and still has the bayonet. I have one just like that with the bayonet as well. Afghan version.

It was over in Prague. Not much out there but a few hills and apparently faults.

Im here in Moore OK and I felt the whole house shake and I checked out the USGS and it said it originated outside of Midwest city so I called my uncle and he said he heard the pop of it and then it shook for about 15 to 20 seconds. What's also weird is I felt the other one we had on the 28th of Oct but I just kinda wrote it off because it felt like someone shook the whole couch I was sittin on early in the morning hours.

I'll be interested to see the waveform on this one. Not to sound paranoid or anything, but I've heard that the seismic signature for an underground nuclear explosion is a double jolt.

She's Yugoslavian, my Svetlana. We fell in love the first time we met. She's deadly at distances of 800 meters, and up close? She's to die for.

Hey guys...for those that don't 'know' me, I have been here on ATS for sometime now and don't just say things at random. I am feeling very......compelled right now to let those of you in the Oklahoma area know that you need to prepare.

I am NOT a doom and gloomer. Normally, when I post about quake related stuff, I have something to back up what I am saying. Here, I do not, other than a feeling. I began making comments about Oklahoma several weeks ago BEFORE you started having these quakes. I really feel something is coming and if you are not already prepared for a natural disaster.....please do so.

Prepare a 'bug out' bag and think about what you would do in a situation involving a large earthquake. Not trying to scare anyone, but just to urge you to be prepared.

Its deer season here. I would say about half of us are pretty prepared the other half are still asleep so to speak. I have been hoping Oklahoma would be one of the safe places since we are smack dab in the middle of the US.
