I have never experienced sleep paralysis, so not exactly sure of my opinion of it. I have read a few accounts of it though, which were basically what is in your post:

You try to move your head only slightly to take a subtle glance, but you can't.

..but that is not what he said in this OP.

He said he did raise his head at first. The inability to move, supposedly occurred a short time after. Wouldn't that particular detail completely rule out sleep paralysis?

I guess it would depend on whether he was actually asleep or not at that point. Did he dream that part? I don't know.

It's a great story. Infact you should submit it to the short story contest that's going on right now (due november 10th).

I'm not saying it's not true, but unless you send a DNA sample of the creature to a moderator, this thread will "be under review.."

See... This is my beef with the frickin aliens... Why come in the middle of the night and show up in my bedroom? It's rude and intrusive, and if they're as smart as everyone says they must be then they know full well how inconsiderate their actions are and they don't seem to care. That's why I want nothing to do with them. If they came during the day and wanted to have a cup of tea or something I would say great, but this spooky MO they have, which seems to transcend race since they all do it, makes me feel they are not to be trusted.

If anyone knows why they show up like this, by all means please enlighten me. In the mean time I will stick with my opinion that they're rude little buggers!!!

You must be from the UK since I have noticed....through experience....that a Britt. is always ready to soften or calm a bad situation over the offer of a cup of tea! LOL!

Reguardless of claims....actual numbers of abductees are very small and this is by design....lesser of two evil type of design....but a control non the less.

It is impossible to place any common ground or associative state of understanding purpose with E.T. The best we can do is use one races interest against another....thereby....giving us a small amount of leverage.

If I were pressed for an explanation, given what you have provided in your initial post, I would have to say you were having a lucid dream/OBE/sleep paralysis...The best time to experience these for most people is right after waking up, and since one of the techniques to experience such a thing involves visualization right after awakening, it is possible that your initial impression of someone being in your room sucked you back into this state.

You would not have had the feeling of movement since you never stood up out of your body, which usually takes some effort, and the paralysis is commonly reported as well. Everything that happened, at least with the evidence you gave, can be explained by this hypothesis.

Is this what happened? I don't know as I wasn't there. Is this what I believe most likely happened? Yes. I would not worry about it too much, as many people experience things like this. I think you should research OBE's and the like, as you will get a better grasp of what could have occurred in your case.

Thanks for the info. I was able to raise my head and the first half of my body and then i froze when i saw its face when i realised it wasn't human. Will def look into sleep paralysis though to educate myself on the subject a bit more. Problem is, after i saw this thing, i didn't wake up again or anything like that, once it disappeared i turned to my wife who had woken up from my yelling "Oh my God". I was already awake.

......You don't have to believe or not. But ill tell ya bro. Straight up, I saw this and i swear on everything my life i saw it. Pretty sure it wasnt a dream even though i wish it was a dream......
I never said that I don't believe, that you believe what you saw. No need to repeat your own certainty. I was merely asking a couple questions.

Because this thing didn't look like a kid or teenager and it didn't look like an old man when comparing its look to a human. That is the best i could describe it. In human years if you were to take a guess, 40 - 45.
This still seems illogical to me. If you look at any living creature, and are positive that "this was not a human", then why would you immediately compare it to a human and guess it's age?

I don't know? I just did. Just like you could describe a baby dragon or an old dragon. I guess you can tell the difference between young and old when you look at something. Maybe i should have explained it that way instead. So instead of saying it looked 40 - 45 in human years, maybe i should have just said it looked middle aged. It wasn't young and it wasn't very old in comparison to our views of young and old and ages etc

Why not move your jacket?

One of the worst things is being half awake when dreams and reality mix.

Like when you are dreaming about a car honking or something similar and it slowly turns into your alarm as you wake.

Hopefully you were just dreaming.

One thing i will say though. A thought i just had. I am only trying to base how old it was compared with humans on earth as it wasn't a baby, kid, teenager or a an old man from my perspective, although in saying that, i have no idea what it was or its species or anything about it. So, it could easily have been 3000 years old or a baby for all i know as i have no idea what a baby, teen or old man looks like it is species, race etc

No it is not true and is something you have made up.

I did look it up, took Google less then a second to find it was bs.

Maybe you should sign the beginning of your posts too, I know I wouldn't want anyone confusing any of the things you made up with my posts.

There are two explanations:

1) The "ATS - i believe" explanation - that it was a visitor of some kind...needless to say i have no clue where he would be from

2) The "logical" explanation, that you had a classic "between sleeping and waking" experience...where (in simple speak) your mind was still dreaming but your body was already awake. This is a state where people have OOBE and see all kinds of stuff..simply because you are mentally still dreaming.

So..you can choose between those two explanations. If you dont want to make yourself crazy over this, i would chose 2)...there are indeed many people who have such experiences before they fall asleep or right after they wake up.

Ahhh....I see....the source of all your knowledge is google or more specifically....what you type in the bar to get your info.

If a person dies in a home....the buyer MUST be told. If a crime has been committed in a home....especially a violent crime or MURDER.....it must be disclosed to the buyer. If a house has a history of paranormal activity....and to save you time....just type in.....realtor looses sale failure to disclose haunting.

Now different states may have time limits on some specific crimes but every state...if something of great trauma or Haunting is occuring....THEY MUST DIVULGE THAT INFORMATION! Split Infinity

Nope... Born and raised in Cali... I find the Britts have a sensibility with which I find to be admirable and useful in certain situations...

I myself had such an event in my early years. I saw something I can't explain standing in my room in the middle of the night. I can only describe it as similar to a classic grey, and at the time had never heard of them or knew about visitations/abductions. It wasn't until some years later while watching an episode of Unsolved Mysteries that a story about abductions grabbed my attention and I freaked out. They described exactly what I had seen. From that day on I have remained highly suspicious of these beings and their questionable activities.

I do not claim to be abducted, only visited. I believe there's a big difference.

Also as a side note, IMO it seems like abductions are on the decline. I'm not sure if that is due to reporting, MSM, etc. I'm talking about the anal probe kind of abductions. Lately when I do hear about one it's to give info or show how the earth is messed up or how we need to change our ways. Anyone else notice this? Any ideas as to why?

Ah yes....Legal Zoom....if you read it....it stated that the matter varied from state to state as it applied to passage of time.

It's finnal bit of advice is all telling as it states it is better to disclose such things even if the state law may not require it. Now why do you think it would give out that advice?

Law is a PRACTICE and interpretation of the law is everything in a court of law. Ask any realtor what they would do when confronted with the possibility of not providing FULL DISCLOSURE? They would provide it!

Legal zooms determination on this is ambiguous at best....but in the end....their advice was....DISCLOSURE!
