Sadly, We have seen this before. Former President Jimmy Carter had promised full disclosure of the UFO information as well. Alas he did nothing. Clinton the same....and nothing. I feel the ones controlling the really nitty-gritty info will never release it. They probably know that if the did release the real info then thay will loose power in short fashion.

Wait, what?

I recorded a show on History Channel last week and watched yesterday that said Carter released just over half the files he had on the subject while Clinton wanted to release things but was never told anything and publicly answered a question in Ireland about it by saying that if there was anything to it, he'd love to be told about it too, hinting that he hadn't been revealed anything about UFOs after hoping he would be.

That is ludicrous by itself, how can something that does not exist not be a threat, saying something IS not a threat means you admit it exists, you admit UFOs or unknown aircraft exist. Plus what these early statements said, it was before cases of shut down by UFO missile silos, still not a threat?

I don't know anyone but a few pseudo skeptics that don't believe there are UFO's... its whether they are aliens, black ops or misidentified objects that is the question.

As to 'No Threat"

In WWII we saw foo fighters. It is my opinion that many UFO's are 'plasma critters' curious but harmless. No foo fighter ever took down an airplane, just buzzed around looking and playing with us... to date I have not heard of ONE critter that attacked anything...

However if these plasma energy critters are buzzing around it is likely that their energy levels could effect things like electronics, shutting down cars, even setting off bells and whistles at the older nuclear sites causing a shutdown to trigger, or even overloading a power grid

So if the Military and NASA have discovered these are 'plasma phenomena' whether alive or a natural form similar to plasma ball lightning... then they can honestly state that 'There is NO threat to national security'

Oddly enough, Jim Oberg linked me to a document on 'Plasma Phenomena" that are being studied by NASA pestering their space craft

I have not always been interested in this subject. As a matter of fact I have only just started investigating the issue during the past year. I was doing research on another subject and something was brought to my attention that caused this year long detour.
It seems that the subject is usually laughed at by MSM or if they cover a story there will inevidebly be mention of little green men . The Natl Press Club coverage of UFO and ET phenomena was very very well done. That show goes into the respectible column. Last week I saw a breif news clip where Pres Truman admitted that "These things happen, UFO's and stuff" in respones to reporters questions after this event in Washington DC in 1952

en.wikipedia.org...

There have been a few Presidents from the very early days of our country to present day who have had an interest in the subject. In George Washingtons day it was an accepted fact that we were not alone in the universe. What happened to that attitude???

There are credible witness out there. This is not the smoking gun or even the answer to the question but it is a feather in the disclosure projects cap and it will bring this subject in front of others who may not have had an interest and to others who might have had an interest but where unaware of the project.
I often said that disclosure will be this trickle down effect and not an outright admission of anything.

I linked the article because there is a link on the left for anyone here who would like to add their name to the petition. My name has been on there for months now.

Maybe, but nothing like that has ever apparently happened to severely cripple the U.S. defense system, or cause a missile to launch or a plane to crash. And even if one of those things was linked to a UFO, there doesn't seem to be any indication that it was done on purpose or with malicious intent. Almost nobody ends up dead as a result (the Cash-Lundrum case being the exception, maybe).

Plasma energy constructs, intelligent or not, are likely about as dangerous as ordinary lightning, even taking into account the generation of areas of high strangeness that might include time warping or EM deadening. The effects seem to be very localized and transient.

So I think it's reasonable to say that UFOs (the odd ones) are not a threat. Hey, 50,000 people a year are killed on the highways, and the highways are not seen as a threat. I guess it all depends on what you think is an acceptable level of risk given what you're dealing with, factored with what the general public thinks about it.

Have you seen the video from the 2001 press club ?
This is more than just a blerb and then on to the next starlet of interest. They air this on the Discovery channel and on the History channel once or twice a year.

I think you missed my point. That is only one of numerous UFO related meetings held at the Press Club (last year we had Robert Hastings and the UFO's and nukes presentation). Yes, we've all seen them and they have been discussed here in countless threads. The 2001 presentation was great (although Greer has tarnished it somewhat by his actions since) and included some very credible sources...

My point is that these Press Club presentations led to nothing more than a brief quip on the news afterwards. They did not lead to massive public awareness or public outcry. They did not lead to major congressional hearings. Sadly, I think it ended up being more "preaching to the choir". Yes, some people became aware and were possibly encouraged to pursue this subject more, but all-in-all the effects were not great...

Personally for me, I stumbled upon the Press Club video and the Disclosure Project somehow 2 years ago while just randomly surfing the web. That led me to finding ATS back then, and my life and worldview has never been the same since, haha...So whatever negatives Greer conjures up, he led me here and that's a good thing...

But several government documents and studies _have_ stated that "UFOs" exist...

Although I believe in UFO's and alien life, and even alien life here on Earth, both in ancient times and the present, please keep in mind that UFO simply means "unidentified flying object," not "identified alien spaceship."

Precisely my point... 50+ years since Roswell and no UFO Related deaths, though it seems we have supposedly shot down some

Well 'plasma' is a generic term, like 'anti-gravity'... I have no idea what the actual energy level of critters is, as I haven't caught one yet. All we have is observed effects... but plasma can do some odd stuff..

Man survives being struck by lightning twice
(caught on security camera)

Well the Press Club report talks about an old missile site, long before we worried about EM interference... and there were no missiles launched... It just set off alarms that triggered a shutdown... so going by the descriptions of the glowing objects they saw... a plasma phenomena seems the best choice.

However a solid disk that has a high power force field of some type around it would also glow, be blurry (because your seeing the field, not the ship) and cause EM effects, the same way we are using plasma skins on our stealth aircraft. They have even figured out they can steer an aircraft with plasma and remove the need for ailerons

A note on that National Press Club... ANYONE can rent the place and release any press statement they wish

"Plasma critters"? I have never heard of such a theory. Can you share a link or the "document"?

By the way, isn't Jim Oberg just a paid government naysayer?

Google 'Plasma Life Forms' "Critters" were first named in 1954 by Trevor James Constable

I want disclosure as much as the next ats'er but this article just mentions the we the people petition. They do not endorse it in any way.

No offense to the op, ok maybe a little, but what's up with all these misleading thread titles lately. I would have read it regardless you don't spice it up with falsehoods.

I can't even remember how many times I have said this but here it is again.....THERE WILL NO DISCLOSURE IN OUR LIFETIMES! Probably won't be disclosure in our GRANDKIDS lifetimes!

All these....Oh! I have a BIG announcment! Disclosure of the existance of E.T. is days away....or months away...or right around the corner...coming directly to YOU!....is all BULL CRAP!

Not going to happen ANYTIME SOON! And by....anytime....I mean CENTURIES! Split Infinity

I would just like to say that i am believer in ET life visiting us here on earth and i think that the government are going to look even more stupid than they already when the ET's actually make them selfs known fully by doing some sort of apperance for all too see e.g some sort of landing in a mass proportion in a public place for all to see.The more they keep hiding it from us the more its gonna get harder fro them to release what they know.

Even I don't believe that. Things are going to change. NWO will lift itself off in a more aggressive illegal way and that will be it. Thats what I see. Cosmic arrests and the school being righted, and people prepared, retaught, programs removed, caring for anyone that is suffering and creating equality and caretaking this planet.

Thats all I see happening. And thats all I ask continually to happen, ASAP, and today would be fine.

As for an earth defense system.

Just push the pause on the remote and round the renegades running things up. They also need some heavy duty counseling and reform.

While often times I'm more inclined to think some of them belong to ETs as all is pointing that way if not saying it with certainty, I'm thinking it may all turn out to be some kind of very big yet very secret project or projects involving all these new aicraft. And still when I think so, somehow it doesn't match to me logically how can intelligence be hiding so much aircraft that would probably EXCEED the black budget, it wouldnt be billions but trillions. And all these that claim to have worked there would know enough to say with some proximity the size of the black budget, it would take much more money that what appears to be used, thus it is quite likely these are not all man made even the majority.

But I agree with SplitInfinity about this thing it is not going to happen any time soon. Centuries could take for people to realize killing each other must stop. Contradicting with me being realistic even often pessimistic, I think it is going in that direction, people could reach some higher level of consciousness about as a whole human race, that is of course, unless wars and economic crisis change that.

Until maybe 2030 even 2050 or in the 2nd half, I dont see any changes. Humans are too immature for such things, that's why no one cares or discusses the topic for the 'LOLz'

one would think, the Earth really needs a much larger cataclysm for people to start thinking more about this planet than about their daily silly problems, I also have them but I do not ignore the 'bigger' questions
