I always a question in my mind , I always try to find the truth and I try to avoid fast and furious judging.

The question is : Why is Mr X doing me this favor ?

You know that making a social network cost lots of money and lots of infra structures.

May be you are more informed about Facebook , twitter investors .

But what about ATS.

ETA : I have already made a thread about that ,too.

skeptic question : Who is running ATS ? and why ?
Why is it providing such infra-structures for us ?

Of course they do.

Ask your self this question. If I worked at a place wheremy job was to monitor what goes on. Where would I look?

I hope the poster of this is not actually surprised the CIA are, I really realy hope he isn't.... if you get my drift

Yes...the CIA is collecting and organizing our data....this we know....maybe this was finally admitted because they figure...what can we do about it!

I am wondering....if someone is talking on a normal land line phone....and then during the conversation....there is an obvious huge echo sound ....which stays for a while...and then..the sound on the line goes back to normal....well...do you think that person is being listened in on?

I think it's safe to say that half of us here are on a "terrorist watch list" or something like that.

Though this doesn't surprise me in the slightest as we here at ATS have known this for a long time. I'd guess Fakebook was setup for this very purpose rather than Fakebook enlisting the CIA later, making Fake a CIA project from the start, why?

They can police the Internet, cross border, cross browser, cross ISP, cross connection(land line, GPRS, 3G, EDGE, WIFI, WIMAX, net cafes, satellite etc) logged in or not, this is pure profile building at its best and was probably the skunk works of a DARPA project.

By making Fakebook the uno numero, they can then track you to other social networks, sites and chat rooms and other communications, such as mobile phones.

The checked in at feature, provides voluntary live tracking of where you are and what your doing and your mood by the status that follows the check in.

Time line provides a historical look at your profile, your views and what sticks and what is likely a threat and your interest or knowledge grows in certain circles or topics. Mismatch status's such as odd status's that seem out of character or even encrypted in some way.

Photo's they know what you and the rest of your family look like, where your possible influences come from photographically.

Photo tagging, who you associate with, visually, i.e if your photographed a lot with a certain person they will be tracked too.

Info: what you do for a living, what education level you are, your religion, sex, political persuasion, sexual orientation and media interests and preferences i.e what you eat, s**t and sleep.

dont forget you can put links and your phone number on there too.

Phew, so that lot makes a decent intel service if i ever saw one, dunno about you?, it's not just your boss id worry about regarding fakebook, a seemingly innocent sarcastic comment or status or even private message could land you on the open source center's radar without you knowing, you'll be followed both on and off line if you hit the right notes.

Yeah I deleted mine the day they announced it.. but for a different reason.

Many here know me under my real name... and that FB account had my real contacts listed. I didn't need trolls pestering my contacts

I thought this was the CIA.
Anybody remember phone booths?
On line means on chopping block.
How can we monitor millions of concurrent phone calls for dissident anti american viewpoints?
We don't. We invent the internet where people type what they are thinking instead of voicing it. Then we have a permanent record of their minds that we can review at our leisure.
Oh, and compile and use against them, I get it. Good idea. Yah, and we can establish across the country monitoring centers, well call them fusion or something like that.

The C.I.A. and the N.S.A, FBI. are not the bad guys. They are just doing their job! Things have changed since 2007. They don't (mess) with you, like abuse from above. The watchers are watching the watchers. Infinite.

Quick, someone form a think tank and we can all jump in it, close the door, and think.

It makes me so mad. If they are monitoring all this crap, then they know how badly some of us need work They need to start hiring before we revolt.

Vengeful librarians. What a name. Everyone knows that librarians don't like the patriot act.

What a coveted job. To earn a salary for reading and putting the pieces of the puzzles together.

The ONLY good thing about CIA watching ATS is that maybe some of those observers have woken up by reading some information on here. Maybe they have never thought about what is really going on, or never really had original thoughts and are just doing their job.

I could be wrong, but you never know

For the most part, as far as I've seen, there is alot of logic and truth running around this group of ATS people
...or at least striving for truth..

I thought we'd told you guys.

Facebook, Twitter, the CIA, FBI, NSA, Homeland Security and some guy named Bobby bought ATS a few years back. We actually only hold 2% of the company.

So we aren't associated with the, we are them

My gut instincts tell me that is more along the lines of reverse psychology than it is a joke, but it doesn't even bother me...

Hi Guys! You can stop bringing up my profile...thanks a bunch.

A coworker of mine just went to a training...he showed how they can read anything being posted on a social network by geographical region...it was insane...Its available to even local law enforcement...though ive never seen us use it and we are a moderate size department.

Oh really????? CIA does have nothing to do with Egyptian uprisings as well as all modern uprisings in the Middle East, North Africa and the subsequent and synchronized Occupy movements???

Are you suggesting that the people in the middle east are to stupid to start a uprising by themselves?

Quite what we should expect. I mean, what kind of intel. agency would it be if it ignored these areas? It's just so easy compared to other methods. People willingly say whatever is on their mind. Or, do they? Maybe they say what they think will put a blip on the radar.

"Mwaha ha ha ha haaa! Your efforts are frivolous to find the truth!"

It's really like finding a needle in a haystack to think they could stumble upon legitimate information on the internet, from any serious group. I don't think the purpose is to "gain intel" as much as it is to get a feel of things are progressing in areas (how "hot" or "cold" it is), which is what the article said.

And this comes as a shock how and why? Anything you don't want your neighbour knowing simply do not post it or put it out there.

Reality cheque for everyone is if you don't think that Govt somewhere has a file on you with the list of every website you've ever visited, everything you've ever posted and your entire internet history in some room tucked away out of sight you are completely bugging and need a reality dose.

I know for a fact that daily, if not hourly there are intelligence agencies from at least 20 nations on this site here daily and are here as we speak!

Message to the intelligence agencies that are here and will read this thread :

Hi people! Thank you for all of your tireless dedication and hardwork and do trust that it is not going unrecognized. We love you! Enjoy your day and God Bless! D1!
