I stumbled upon AJ about (2) years ago and still subscribe to his site, but I have an opinion some may share (maybe not).

When I was a new listener to all conspiracy / quasi-conspiracy sites such as Rense.com, Coast to Coast, and others I became very hooked. I absorbed like a sponge all these alternative, or conspiracy subjects. I began almost 100% belief in the perspectives given by the usual cast of guests and hosts. About a year into listening I felt as if armageddon was the next day I would wake. Then next month, next 6 months, no wait next year, well for sure in 2 years, no more like five, etc., etc.

I have gone full circle today and realize that these Alt media outlets are masters at their entertainment business model. 50% sensationalism and 50% rational info.

Since 911 and now with our economic depression and political quagmire, many numbers of people are tuning in to AJ and others, as MSM is a control apparatus and can't be trusted.

I do trust AJ more than MSM, however you will be waiting with anxiety and fear your entire life, and never to witness the SHTF scenarios talked about.

Alex Jones is just another guy preying on people's fears to make a buck. His latest video on Swine Flu was so full of half truths and paranoia I just shook my head.

Wow this is an old thread! But since it's been revived, here's my take:

The few things of his I have listened to are definitely entertaining. The truth factor is rather low though, in my opinion. He tends to cherry pick which parts of things he talks about without bothering to mention that when those parts are taken in context with the rest of the document he got them from, he's not even close. The sad part is that it doesn't take long to research his claims and assertions, but many people take what he says as gospel without bothering to look into it for themselves.

I've only listened to him a few times but he is a very sloppy thinker and cheap sensationalist. I just don't think he has the skills to logically draw conclusions or establish the investigative framework and method by which he draws those conclusions. He takes a shotgun approach to everything and draws from that his own loosely connected and often paranoid themes. I'm not saying it's all bunk. He's just sloppy and more about show biz than anything else.

Well there have been a few thoughts I have had about Alex "The Bulldog" Jones.
The first I had was if he is pushing this info around on such a large scale why hasn't he been bumped off, by these people who he keeps trying to irritate and warn?
It seems as if he's a bit of a plant to the cause of breaking up the Bilderberg group, (Endgame)
Also the man is a devout christian. And I am sorry if I offend anyone with this comment, but the story of "Jesus the Fisherman and his 12 pals" is nothing plausable. As George Carlin once said "On the BS scale, you can't hold a candle to a clergyman".

I understand what he thinks he might be doing, and I am all for the man spreading the word of what is really happening, but there is something not right about him...

If main stream news is unwise and a tool of the Illuminati and AJ represents
the alternate side telling you all the bad things associated with
main stream news then who is cracked.

The TV ads for drugs from the friendly pharmaceutical companies
sign off with all the drawbacks.

Well consider AJ filling in all the holes in the wool pulled over
everyone eyes with all the drawbacks to the news medicine.

Some poster said he was fighting the NWO for 15 years with
little success.

Yeah what is the history of the NWO and the Illuminati. I'd start with the richest people of the past century with perhaps JP Morgan and John Jacob Astor who funded the work of Tesla. Now ol' JP got 51% control over the Tesla patents. Tesla knew the Illuminati of the time for good reason because their economy would be built on his inventions yet we know little of his work. For the present situation the economy is built on suppression of these inventions by the NWO and Illuminati.

In my years of experience with AJ he's pretty on point and very very very often backed up by facts, documents and reports from the main stream media. The man is not a god, he does get stuff wrong, jump the gun, etc. But out of all the conspiracy theory folks out there he's one of the best, and one of the very few I trust.

Its rather inaccurate to claim accuracy when speaking of alex Jones' "facts" I agree he has concepts and ideas that certainly are accurate, but the majority of facts he uses to propel his ideas are certainly less than credible. Alex Jones' is on the right track in idea, but he is neither original NOR credible when his substance is critically viewed. CONTEXT CONTEXT CONTEXT and sources of his supposed facts shed a rather dim light of truth on his claims. Unfortunate because he has some ideaology that is truly accurate regarding corruption of the nations and government.

Some of the material AJ works with is from main stream media
because crime and other bad thing are great for their broadcasts.

How about the "Inside Job" campaign that went totally out of sync
with the main stream. No backing what so ever.
No funding to investigate even to give a hint of error.
History Channel had WTC specials that ignores the core beams
as if an ET had spooked them into thinking the beam were made
of jelly.
The conspiracy side is never taken.

As far as alternative energy approved by the Illuminati, there
are Sun panels and windmills the do no consume materials.
The Sun panel works on a captured radio activity to accumulate
charges and the windmills work on the either field of magnetism
in rotation to charge batteries.
Most others methods will charge batteries.

Now the Illuminati are granting us Green Energy that consumes no materials such as coal or oil or rubbish. Isn't that great. Solar Panels that Carter blessed us with and St Bloomberg will give us Windmills. Tesla would have given us more with his bulb but that is forbidden by the Illuminati.
