Well I'm not giving up yet pennyforyourthoughts. Although I am getting more and more frustrated with the whole thing. The hunt admin has gone from saying, earlier in this thread, back on page 21 , that the ideas we need have already been expressed , to saying in the coordinates thread

www.abovetopsecret.com...

that we have already found the answer!!!!
I've been going over and over everything that we have come up with.
I've got it in my head that we either need to be concentrating on those pixels in the images at coordinate 417/333 or that they somehow fit into the pattern that can be found in DrJims files, but because I'm mainly concentrating on these two things , I might be missing the real answer elsewhere.
We must be missing something further back on this thread that is really obvious, ohhhh well ,back to page 16 to start re-reading again!

Welcome Penny!

Also we should start chatting on ATS CHAT it has improved 1000% its actually in real time now!

And it has different rooms so im going to U2U SkepticOverload about creating us a channel for this game so we can discuss more efficiently.

Will everyone join in?

I opened the files with a hex editor. No chance with our numbers
but all the files start with the same text string which has the words
"Ducky" and "Adobe" in it.

::: offtopic :::
I'm there but I dont see the rooms. Only one channel.
People react weird when I get into the room.
Some guy shouted (in caps) you can't buy my toughts!

I'm pretty sure the info we need comes from the post by esther:

I am really confused at this point. I am still debating how much more effort I honestly want to put into this. Frustration is not my friend.

The Loki reference is hysterical. Not that I'm discounting it. It would be entirely appropriate. Just thought it was clever.

Pantha, if you are in fact in on this, you got some 'splainin' to do, Lucy.

Now about the numbers, I know this may seem elementary but here goes:

417/333 can be divided up like this: 41-73-33. We do have files that begin with those three numbers.

41 qaz - 35 tgb
73 edc - 13 edc
33 edc - 43 edc

Maybe we should be focusing on these three files to provide clues. Or maybe what the files have in common. The letter sequences associated can also be reduced to three patterns:

qaz : tgb : edc (which is used 4X)

I don't know if this means anything or not. Just my half-asleep morning contribution. If someone will send me the files for 41/73/33 so I can look at just those parts specifically, that would be great. I don't know what part of the document they compose, since I never had the whole batch in my possession, only the completed puzzle.

esther, who is still fumbling around, looking for her game face.

here's the three file pieces that esther was wondering about

but I can't see numbers in all three of them

if we split the coordinates up a different way
417/333 = 43 13 73 we get these files 43edc-33edc.gif 13edc-73edc.gif and 73edc-13edc.gif

with these images

which do contain numbers but if they are meant to fit in Jims index, then they don't work as 9 isn't part of the pattern.

Also trying the colour values of the pixel at 417/333 doesn't work as again you have 9s and 0s which don't fit the pattern.
I've tried endless combinations from all three images.

I'm seeing numbers in my sleep now!

Just for the pleasure of the eyes, I post this beautifull (and 100% real) pic :

This is a picture of an excercize of dogfight combat on the swiss Mirage 2000. Lights you can see are flares and simulate missiles.

The both are added by Adobe Photoshop. I googled once about it and found a page that explained it, but I can't find it anymore.

wee I'm way out of the road now

I opened the calculator and I did a 417 / 333 =

1.252252252252252252252...

252?

That's not so new. I have worked on the 1.(252) for some time and I haven't found anything. No member 1252. I found something strange, but it is just a coincidence probably:
I went to thread 1252. Took the date of the first post (three numbers at 417/333). And looked for new members registered that day. One of the members had quite a large a page about UFOs. This user was RiKiG.

Ok guys time i jumped in, i read the WHOLE thread!

qaz,tgb,edc........

They are all typing lessons used in school to learn a keyboard. qaz also stands for quick access zoneof your keyboard.

so maybe if we try others in the file name like, wsx, rfv, yhn, ujm, we might get something???

There is supposed to be a second doc. Is this it??? Did you use the "numbers" at the coordinates to find it?

This is a good find. We can rule out " BTS_______XXXXXXX" as having any relavance to this particular hunt.

Did a search on "anti-incursion interceptor" in Google.

Nada. If it exists, there is not one single reference. I have no idea where else to go with this.

esther.

.

All that this means, Esther, is that it was a jet scrambled to intercept a vehicle incursion over protected airspace. It's not a specific type of jet, but a classification.

I hope they tell us the answer if we don't get it. I wonder how obvious it is.
