Report: U.K. preparing for military strike on Iran nuclear facilities

Can we as Westerners "Tweet" the Iranian and Isralie CITIZENS and tell them to get the Big Guys to knock it off?

While we're at it,we'll Tweet some Palestinians and throw a block party without inviting any grandparents.

that's how it starts, especially big conflicts. the iraq wars all had the msm softening up the masses and gauging support for war.

it's always been claimed that politicians use war to distract the people from their failures and to win re-elections by appearing courageous, strong and forceful.

this claim especially applies to obama. many consider him a complete failure. bringing home all the troops in iraq is not impressing the american people. finding osama bin laden and killing him, after the previous president failed for 10 years did not impress the american people.

having a massive list of dead or captured terrorists and thwarting numerous attacks on american soil, also is not impressing the american people.

now obama is about to go to war with a fully armed and dangerous country, just to impress the american people.

After chastizing Bush for Iraq and Afghanistan i just dont see Obama going into Iran to look "important". His regime would let Israel go first and then play the role of "well we HAD to back them up". But trust me, this would NOT be an Iraq or Afghanistan scenario and no boots on the ground. Obama is trying to re-elected......

You can run at "bare minimum" when you have nukes, you have subs, you have the RAF, you have naval craft etc. Thats a helluva bare minimum LOL

Russia would benefit greatly from reduced oil production from Iran.....China only gets 11% of it's oil imports from Iran. Cost benefit wise, it's just not worth it for China and especially Russia, to make a stand over Iran.

Long live iran and its people, one of the most influential developing countries of this moment. I am very sympathetic to iran, all i see on our state TV is "iran is evil". Same for US television. Shame their brainwashing doesn't work on me. Funny thing is, iran has one of the most factful news networks which is aired in britain... funny right? PressTV is the main channel i can only get the truth from.

I think its more the other way around... the US has probably had talks with my government, some kind of persuasion.

I say this because US/Israel has been calling for iran to be wiped of the map for many years. I don't see why the UK would get involved in this at all....

Iran is ABUNDANT in resources. Its among the top three countries for oil and natural gas. And they just have been VERY stubborn NOT to share it with the rest of the corrupt Western bullies.

Let me tell you one thing, if the US decides to attack Iran, Turkey, will not sit by and let it happen.

Mark my words.

If I know one thing about the Turkish PM and his government, they do not at all support this, and if they have to pick sides, I know they will either stay neutral or support Iran.

Does Iran have nuclear weapons? Maybe, but there are two problems I see right now that we should be thinking about. First, IF they do have them, does the US, Britain, or Israel think they are just going to let them bomb them without launching some? I doubt it, as that's what they are there for. Well, for a deterrent as well, but apparently that may not work.

The second problem I mentioned is that where have we heard this before? I'm thinking roughly a decade ago Bush did pretty much the same thing. Scare the world into thinking they have nukes, and then invade with ulterior motives.

I haven't seen one convincing piece of evidence that Iran has nukes, and this should be provided to the citizens of any country whose government wishes to invade somewhere. I am interested to see if Obama thinks he can get away with this again, without Congressional approval.

Trust me the Obama administration is not talking about attacking Iran. He would alienate his base and assure his loss in the election. So at least before next November's election there wont be an attack. After that who knows but i still doubt it.If this attack is going to happen it would be Israel all by itself Obama has already proven on several occasions he would throw Israel under the bus, why do you people think he would send troops to help them?

The day the attack of Iran is backed by the US government is the day I march on the streets of Washington DC. Someone is obviously going to be our enemy when we attack them. A decade ago millions marched in DC in an attempt to stop the US government from going to war against Afghanistan. Do you see how that went? It's the longest war in US history. F*** politicians.
