Ok thanks for the info. I have watched the wwe on and off since the hogan days in the 80's We never had that much coverage here in the uk of wcw ecw though, not until wwe took them over.

Yeah, don't listen to anything the WWE tells you about ecw/wcw/,,,, its not the truth, its what Vince and his yes men want you too think is the truth. WCW was kicking WWE's ass, but WCW's cockiness and stupid business moves caught up.

Wrestling doesnt have a limited IQ.And they have propagana all through the FOX8 cartoons.South Park.WWE helped Arnie become the Governator.They have a massive audience.They would be perfect to use for programing.

I'm baffled that this is thought is even considered plausible. It's a gimmick. That is all, looking into any deeper than that should be the first sign that you should stop watching wrestling.

I for one, watch a lot more documentary and real life than I do movies or wrestling..... I like to actually learn when I partake.... I also love most sports.... but wrestling doesn't really fit into the "sport" category does it? Surely you can agree on that? Wrestling was created as pure entertainment....

I was merely pointing out that it is likely that any sublimimal messages meant for the masses would be hidden in slightly more mainstream forms of entertainment..... you're going to want to catch as many minds as possible imo...

I am judging Americans) these people spend $15 to watch an X-MEN movie... why don't these people call X-MEN 'fake'??

Apologies for my original message and my slur against wrestling fans.... was a bit harsh of me.

The difference is.... X-men is never purported to be real, it is sold as make believe... it is what it is..... whereas wrestling is sold as real....... or so it appears to be sold to a non-american.... how can people become so emotionally involved and enthusiastic about an event that is pre-determined? You've hit the nail on the head.. why not just go see a movie?

It's not a question of spelling it "slightly better"..... an interesting concept though, that there are "better" and "worse" spellings... I am glad you have now realised that it is an "americanism" as we call them over here.... this may prevent you from making the same mistake in the future.... and hopefully you won't do it in capitals again! Actually I quit watching wrestling ages ago. It was just a thought of back when I used to watch it. Hell I don't think NWO or DX even exists anymore, if so I would be surprised.

Good times in wresting the attitude era. I often wondered that myself about the correlation between what is and what was with wresting. As we know Vince McMahon would be considered a 1% by the crowd of OWS but that off topic. But If there was any real involvement between feuding wrestling brands and the NWO, I honestly think that we would of not seen any of that in the broadcasting due to the FCC being incorporated and controlled by such NWO participants. After all they control all of US TVs and they wouldn't intentionally smear NWO and GEN-X thru the years. Or maybe they were trying to get people use to the idea for future lol i doubt it tho
