The brilliant thing about OWS is that there is no one "head" to lop off, you see , The People are darn smart about this. No leaders among our forces. It makes it impossible for the elite rulers to stifle the accelerating movement...

The msm seems to be looking for a leader quite desperately, and we all know who controls the msm. I have a feeling things aren't turning out quite as planned for tptb. Then again, who knows for sure?

Why make a decision about a global movement based on the opinion of one man? Why not collaborate as a whole and decide what the best route will be for this movement?

I did not want to veer too far off the topic but I see you have no reservations as long as it means hawking your propagandist and warmongering ideology. A lot of people spoke at Kent State and if I ever want you to write my posts FOR me I will ask you but I actually prefer my own thinking. Maybe you should stick to saying what you want to say in your posts and see of you can allow me permission to include what I want in my own. This is not the country you envision in your dreams yet, Mein Fuhrer.

actually, if a revolution breaks out, the UN will step in and start bombing our neighborhoods, like we are doing in libya, and iraq and afghanistan. fairly certain a shotgun isn't going to stand up to carpet bombs.

Yes but as you see, Bernadine Dohrn was a revolutionary Communist then, and is active in Occupy Chicago now. She is also an ACORN activist. Don't be foolish. Unless you also are a Communist Revolutionary.
It is not even off topic, as you brought up Kent State, and so have others including the Occupy websites, and we know how Kent State ended.
And yes I did speak my own mind. Where did you come up with me being a warmonger? Where have I recommended war or violence? I am merely pointing out that the violence in Kent State started with communist revolutionary agitators. Using the term Mein Fuhrer....what a cheap shot, and completely uncalled for. But that is how some people think they win arguments.

You are doing quite the knock up job yourself on Propagandizing.
Anyway, anyone observing the real history of Kent State(the testimony was witheld from the media apparently for a long time) can see the similarities to the agitation going on at Occupy events.
And omg even Oakland, Ca is implicated in both movements.

My conscious told me to stay the hell away from this OWS movement, heck they don't even have a plan to replace what they are against .... It took people getting shot for African Americans to have equal rights maybe the same is needed here ... If you truly believe in something then you must be prepared to die for it .... No I do not agree with greed but I do not agree with OWS either, I'm a 3%er thank you lol

Here is what the OWS movement is about. They are the people affected and not the politicians who are supposed to be fixing things. People do not legislate laws. Pat Buchanan might be right like I said and has already been posted in another thread, the movement might be infiltrated with troublemakers who are there to misrepresent.
That seems likely since we are dealing with the lowest of low ethically, corporate elitists lacking human kindness or moral compass.

They are talking about this gap (which has only got worse since 2004)...unemployment, corporatism the bank bailouts, the unending war and other issues of importance that affect them. If they could speak articulately on every political issue they would be politicians themselves. They are disenfranchised citizens. Jane and John Q Public. Enough said.

The One Percent is a 2006 documentary about the growing wealth gap between America's wealthy elite compared to the overall citizenry. It was created by Jamie Johnson, an heir to the Johnson & Johnson fortune, and produced by Jamie Johnson and Nick Kurzon. The film's title refers to the top one percent of Americans in terms of wealth, who controlled 42.2 percent of total financial wealth in 2004. en.wikipedia.org...

And this from ABC, a year ago...Where did our middle class go?

From CBS 3 years ago....

They are against corruption and scewed politics. They are against being taken for a ride, whilst the rich line their pockets and tell everybody else to go to hell, whilst ordinary people foot the bill for the misendeavors.

They want reform, they are not looking to replace anything. They want justice, just like everybody does the world over.

They want to live a free life, with equal oppurtunities. Not burdoned with someone elses debt that they'll never be able to pay, whilst the person who's debt it is see's neglible hardship on their own lives.

The populace is happy when they are able to feed and home themselves and their family, when people start interferring with that, then they get mad. You seem surprised?

No replacements, but reform. It's up to which ever politician wants to take that upon themselves to do it, and they'll have support from the people. Until then, the people will make their voice heard. Not everybody wants to be a politician, that's why the people elect them on their behalf. To serve their needs, and give them a voice. They don't need to have a plan. All they want is for the politicians to take note that thewy are mad, who they are mad at, and that they want change.

Such a shame politicians have degenerated (not only in the U.S but the world over), to self serving a-holes, who serve only those who bankroll their rise to the top and who think it's their right to do as they please and not consult their electorate.

A great man once said "Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds".

and England gave the world The X factor and the "American Idol" template and every stupid thing Simon Cowell does. thanks for that, mate!!

I'm also pretty sure the US didn't invent heroin and coc aine. I believe heroin was an Asian product and coc aine comes from South America. So let's not skew things to your Anti-American slant. And your welcome for not speaking German right now.

lets try to stay on topic. where are all the articles that state the OWS protesters are a mob comprised of those who you say they are. where are the stories telling that they are attacking innocent bystanders and obstructing people trying to go to work? as a journalist, you know the importance of fact checking and validating sources i'm sure.

OWS are not a protest but a mob.

They have ZERO understanding of the concept of private property. They do not try to march on or petition elected or even non-elected officials responsible but instead humiliate, obstruct and intimidate ordinary people trying to go about their private business, working for a paycheque to support their families .

So that private property that we the taxpayer paid for is not ours? You know roads, side walks , court houses ect?

Thanks for confirming that the Dictators stole our property

They are no different to the schoolyard bullies trying to force an innocent geek to hand over his lunch money.

Says the guy name calling thousands of people he never met from his computer

This is not the politics of liberty, but the politics of ENVY.

Yes we envy the Bankers and Wall Street, please steal more money from my kids piggy bank bankers

OWS fulth are the scum of humanity and they need to be swept away with the rest of the trash before they can harm any more innocent people.

I have a bad feeling something bad is going to happened to this movement. It has been tainted by the elite and they going to use it to take our freedoms away when the protests go violent. I have nothing to do with the protests since they got destroyed. It seem there is no winning against the elite government. They seem to hijack every movement and protest that start out good.

Supporters of OWS, I know you feel passionate and compelled to defend your position. Some of you say you are not for Socialism, and yet so many of the OWS demands are just that. So many communists, and Nazi party, and other strange people are in the movement. People in this forum look at a lot of different theories on various issues, and I value that.
But George Soros does have a documented history of manipulating currencies of whole countries, and is working very hard at fundamentally transforming the USA into a Socialist satellite of the UN. How can any of us even consider being part of that? It's not an accident, and there is a parallel to the Kent State riots, which it is well known was incited by communist agitators.
I just hope everyone will be honest with themselves about the agenda.

I think with winter the protests will become less active, but if it lasts until summer next year it could achieve a whole new level.

I don't think I am alone in believing this behavior is unprecedented in America. The hippie movement was against an unpopular war and I don't feel can be adequately compared to OWS. It's difficult for anyone to say how it will evolve and what the eventuality will be. Taking the Arab Spring as a model the result was Revolution. In regards to Pat, as a member of the 1% he has a sincere interest in seeing the movement fail.

if it does end up in Revolution, it will be interesting to see just how the military grunts react. will they follow orders like they are conditioned to, or will they stand up and say "hey, this isn't right"? would they possibly take up their arms against those barking the orders to them?
