theres 2 great movies
first, planes trains&automobiles.the first time i seen it i was on acid,and i laughed so hard,i pissed myself.
even now when i see john candy(rip) turn into the devil,i laugh my ass off!
second is a movie called PI. its in black and white,and its all about numbers/math & religion. very cool movie. i encourage every one to check it out

Lord Of The Rings is definetly one of the best! I'm sure there are many many more I would choose, but I just woke up and that was at the top of my head.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles is a great movie, one of my favorites too. It's hard to pick my favorites but off hand I'd say, Independence Day and It's a Wonderful Life. I'll have to check out PI.

Howard the Duck, I forgot all about him, great movie. One of the most faithful adaptations from a comic ever.

Stephen King's "The Stand" is another one.

Alan Ladd, Jean Aurthur (last screen appearance), Jack Palance. Shane signs on with a family as a farmhand. The local cattle baron is trying to run the homesteaders out. He hires Jack Palance as a shooter.

Great fist fight scene with cattle goons and Shane. Showdown shootout with Ladd and Palance. Palance a perfect bad guy. Shane is tough as nails, but human.-------------------
