Definitely Equilibrium is great, for me much better that the Matrix.

All time favorite, Big Trouble in Little China - Indeed!

Full Metal Jacket, every frame of that movie could stand on it's own. The opening of Act 2 downtown Saigon with Nancy Sinatra belting out "These boots are made for walking" rather than the obligatory Stones tune is brilliant.

The Blues Brothers and Christmas Vacation. And for pure Guerrilla film making, the original Gone in 60 Seconds.

I keep reading that the movie was amazing and such but I didn't even make it to the chess scene. I spent an hour and 40 minutes watching that movie and haven't been so bored in my life in a long time. I usually spend 10-20 minutes before switching a movie off but figured it's supposed to be a classic so I'll give it chance but just couldn't get through it.

Also I know I'm not American but I haven't seen The Exorcist and I best remember Max Von Sydow for Judge Dredd and Solomon Kane.

Matrix the movie who definitely changed my perspective on reality.
Legends of the Fall all time classic, really
Lord of the Rings epic, of course
Keith a movie I never understood why it's so ignored
Cube not being such a fan of horror, this was original and so well done
The Horse Whisperer, wonderful, and if I'm at it, also the documentary Buck about the man who inspired this movie - directed by and with Robert Redford
Mystic River great, great movie - directed by Clint Eastwood

It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, forgot all about that one, and I watch it every chance I get. Te redux of it "Rat Race" is pretty good, as well. The scene when the jeep is chasing Seth Green and Vince Vieluf up the radar tower is hilarious.

The cube was awesome!

My vote for best overall movie of all time goes to The Godfather Part II.

Raiders of the Lost Ark gets my vote for best adventure of all time.

Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan gets the nod for best scifi picture IMO.
