Noone except Ghadaffi and those at the scene know the true version of what happened......that said though.....those interviewed on the news (SkyNews) never mentioned a "bloodied semi concious" Ghadaffi found in the tunnel........they did find a Ghadaffi begging not to be shot.

But like I said....... the account of Ghadafi getting beaten unconscious "seems" to tie into the pictures and videos that I have seen.

CNN is now showing a picture of the dead Qaddafi, gruesome stuff... They said they took a DNA sample while his blood was still hot AND that some of his hair was artificial!

Just heard on the radio that "NATO commanders are meeting tomorrow to discuss how to wrap up the seven month long Libya bombing campaign."

Know what this means? That killing Ghaddafi was NATO's objective the whole time.

Where's all of those NATO pawns on ATS claiming "humanitarian mission" and "no fly zone" now?

Reagan should be alive by now and happy to see his Gaddaf's regime fall. He was trying to kill Qaddafi in a surgical airstrike in 1986 in retaliation for the bombing of a nightclub in West Berlin that killed two U.S. soldiers in a Turkish women. It had failed though.

I've seen pictures of the "Dead" Ghadaffi on various news channels all day.

I seem to remember the rebels shouting "fair trial" on every CNN snippet..guess that just goes to show you how far political posturing is entrenched in so called "liberation movements". The death of a man,however evil he might have been is nothing to be celebrated.
On a lighter note,the swiss bankers with access to the foreign accounts that they didn't freeze will probably give themselves a nice bonus this year,and we'll discover gadaffi was really a "pauper".

Well that was fairly obvious early on......even though NATO could never publicly say so.

Ghadffi's convoy was targeted by NATO........even though NATO's objective was "only" to protect civilians in danger..

Oh boy the ignorance is in full flow isn't it. All media worldwide has lied for over 40 years about Gaddifi.....yeah right. Amnesty international made up stories about him....yeah right. The UN made up stories about him.....yeah right. The arab league made up stories about him.....yeah right. Nato lied, british government lied, US government lied, French government lied, all anti Gaddafi video is lies.....on and on and on it goes. Oh sorry forgot to add : there was video footage and stories showing how nice Gaddafi was......shame it was provided by his regime DUH!!!

Oh by the way there were stories posted here a couple of months ago about how "nice" Gaddafi was as told by the UN however what the OP failed to state was "I have cherry picked paragraphs to make it seem as if the UN said he was a nice guy"....oops. All those people in Libya cheering, hooting car horns etc etc are all paid by NATO to pretend to be happy. The BBC is lying about the footage, no hang on both of those statements can't be right (which angle are you going to go with ?) .

Your problem and those other Gaddafi apologists is that if you accept that the Gaddafi really was as portrayed then the vast majority of "lies" by media and g0vernment weren't lies and you would have to face cognitive dissonance full in the face and admit being wrong. No can't do that, so let's carry on down the path of denial until the only two people who believe Gaddafi is a good guy is yourself and Gaddafi, oh hang on that leaves only you.

I can't believe it.

First, Saddam Hussein's regime fall in 2003 and Saddam was hanged in 2006.

Al-Qaeda leader Bin Laden was killed by U.S. Navy Seals in May of 2011.

Now Gaddafi's regime had fallen and Gaddafi was killed.

Seems like the Arab Spring is working

Now Syria leader Bashar Assad should be next on the list.

The BBC are now reporting, Gaddafi was taking cover in the tunnel with his son mutassim, who was also executed, this is nothing more then mafia style murder.

It just gets worse.

I'm going to set this straight right now.

You're problem is that you see this as people are either for Ghaddafi or for NATO.

I look at the strategic picture, as does most others that you refer to as "Gaddafi apologists". This is not the first time that the West has assassinated geopolitical rivals and reformed their countries, either directly or indirectly. And its not going to stop now.

International laws are in place for a reason. Its so one nation doesn't start dictating and controlling other nations. So you can stop calling us "Gaddafi apologists" and start calling us realists/consequentialists who have the thought capacity to actually understand what the Libyan "liberation" and Gaddafi execution actually means for the ENTIRE WORLD.

Well Gaddaffi wasn't killed in that tunnel.... they took him elsewhere on a truck and took him off and probably beat him to death... although the video stops before we see that.

from what i'm being told, he was in good shape when he was captured, but was beaten unconscious, and paraded on a truck, and when he came back round, he was dragged off the truck, then was shot at point blank range, by someone in the crowd, and then tied to the back of a truck by his ankles and driven round Sirte.

But its just came to light that Gaddafi was taking cover with his son in that tunnel, it just make's the whole situation more barbaric.

The people he was supposed to have killed has never been officially verified, so they have acted on hearsay and not hard facts. This looks like him but also the video is so unstable and shaky it does make me very suspicious. If he is wounded and no threat (no weapon), then to kill him is surely a war crime?

Found him in a sewer pipe, sounds a bit like Raul Moat!
