The very dicey products being marketed way too early are getting more common nowadays.
methinks the money it costs to get a new drug approved by the FDA is part of the problem....
The companies are constantly fudging the results of half baked trials that are faulty at best.
Between developement research and marketing,the price gats artificially jacked even before the costs of the raw materials are taken into account....
Then theres the competition to get stuff standardised world wide.....
I think the drug companies should be nationalised as should the health care profession...we all get sick so why not we all bargain together with these robber barons.

I'd do you one better. I'd grab the needle and jab him with it. It easier telling someone to take something that you don't know the effects of, than it is to take it and find out for yourself.

Honestly, if one of these politicians or big pharma execs refuse to take it, i damn sure wouldn't be giving it to anyone else, but they do it for the money. They love money and will kill anyone to obtain it, even their own mothers. You know where people like that will end up when they die. There's a special place waiting for evil people to reap what they have sown for eternity.

I was thinking the same thing. I suppose they will try and hold off on any class action lawsuits that specifically name Rick Perry until AFTER the GOP nomination is made but you can bet they are in the works. All people need is some hint to say "if you (Gov Perry) did not approve this or sign that - my daughter would be the vibrant healthy child she was before the vaccination was mandated" and that will be the end of Mr Perry.

I took my daughter to the doctors group we go to for a knee problem within the last year, and we had to see a doctor we hardly ever go to, in other words, a doctor that doesn't know how I am about taking medicine, in general.

He suggested a Guardisil vaccine for her, AND a Meningitis vaccine, which I guess he was planning to give her at the same time.

I said no, and he explained that IF she goes to college, and IF she lives in the dorm, she will have to have that Meningitis vaccine.

I told him that, first, she was only 14 at the time, and in the eighth grade, so I really didn't think that was something we had to worry about right now. I absolutely refused the Guardisil vaccine without any explanation.

After leaving, I got to wondering.....if she got that Meningitis vaccine so early, would she then have to get a "booster", because it had been so long since she got the first one?

Anyway, I made a decision a long time ago, that neither my daughter, or I would be receiving any more vaccines, for anything.

Heck, I recently cut myself, and needed stitches and the doctor recommended a booster tetanus shot, cause I couldn't remember when the last one was, but I said no thanks, because the thing I cut myself with was a new item (guillotine slicer, lol, avoid them).

And he prescribed some Keflex antibiotic, which I didn't take either, because the warning on it said, may cause diarrhea WEEKS or MONTHS after taking. NAHHHHHH, my immune system took care of it. (Because I haven't ruined it with taking vaccines and other types of prescription medicine.)

As a matter of fact, that doctor was extremely impressed with the fact that for my age (almost 55) I am on NO prescription medicine for anything.

I am so glad that i refused this vaccine for my teenage daughter here in the UK, this just re enofrces the need to not have children vaccinated, My wife and i feel alot happier about our decision now, more importantly, we have done the right thing for our child.

His wife however, was a member of Women in Government, and an active campaigner for cervical cancer prevention - but not, officially, a lobbyist for Merck.

I just read an article yesterday that said the FDA refused a new application for the Guardisil vaccine, where the company wanted it to be marketed to older women, too.

I can't remember what the reasoning was on either side.

Maybe they figure there has been too much outcry on the subject, gotta keep it on the down-low so the REAL targets will be gotten to (young boys and girls who might want to have children someday.)

Additional information was received from a newspaper article concerning a 18 year old female…who on 10-MAY-2007 was vaccinated with GARDASIL…in the right arm…The patient who was a college freshman travelled on 05-OCT-2007 to visit her family for the weekend. ... The patient was taken to a local hospital, where a brain computed axial tomography (CAT) scan was performed and the brain revealed meningococcal disease in her brain and brain stem. The patient was immediately transferred to another hospital and died the evening of 07-OCT-2007 due to complications of meningitis.

A woman gets her Gardasil shot, then five months later contracts meningitis and dies. It's unfortunate, but meningitis spreads rapidly in college dorms. There is no reason to assume any connection between the Gardasil and the disease she contracted months later. And yet they made this one of their big three, front page cases. Doesn't bode well for the importance of the rest of their data.

And if they really used FOIA to get all this, they wasted their time. They could've just downloaded the spreadsheets and done the research themselves.

Why in the hell these girls of certain age group are prone to have sex at that age? What is wrong with their Parenting?, Society? Religion? Education? These are the questions that come to my mind. It's got nothing to do with children supposedly having under age sex. The whole point is it's only supposedly truly effective when administered before sexual relations. It's no different to giving rubella jabs to girls to cover them before they have babies.

Are you serious? Follow the link below as per introducing them in the public schooling system for girls in 6th grade and above.

I agree it has noting to do with under age sex but it does have plenty of side affects. Rubella jabs are very old in comparison to Gardasil jabs.

Tetanus is a heck of a disease with no cure once it gets out of control.

"Postmarketing studies" is a nice way of saying guinea pig. Give them the shot and then study the long term affects.

First of all vaccines have saved and continue to save many lives. Each one has to be taken on its own merit. For instance the vaccine for Whopping Cough is safe and yet paranoid delusional people are causing the unnecessary deaths of many children, sometimes their own. Radicalism is never good.

On this case though there is clearly a problem.
