I'm not sure what there is to debunk about pictures of a country's landscapes, cityscapes, or other physical attributes of a country. Are you expecting someone to say "no thats not Iran" or "that picture is photoshopped"?

What exactly would there be to debunk about these photos of Iran?

I'm talking about debunking the aspects of these illegal wars and justifying the killing of civilians in a peaceful country. It's not the civilians that want to go to war, it's the political elites who control the idiot pawns, but the ones that suffer are the people and the pawns. I don't hear debunkers spitting out proof of why we needed to do this and continue to do it.

Watch this video and tell me that we should invade Iran....

We see the ugly and exaggerated points of view on the MSM but they'll never show us the other sides.

Where are the pictures of the women getting stoned to death because they showed their elbow in public? Where are the pictures of the Iranian Republican Guard gunning down a group of people for voicing their opinion? Where are the pictures of the poverty that the vast majority of Iran's citizens live in because of the iron fist of tyranny that rules every aspect of their lives? Everyone of the buildings in those pictures are beautiful.... but they would look even better with a giant plume of smoke pouring from them because of a Tomahawk missile.

Oh.oh.

If I wasn't living in Iran ,I would think that Iran is just a prison as you describe.

I suggest you do some investigation beyond Internet and MSM to learn about Iran.

Travel our home and we will show the reality you could see with your own eyes.

Lol...handfull.

Such a beautiful landscape: Surely hope it remains that way and is not filled with troops from all directions.

Where is the video of the little child that was found guilty for stealing a loaf of bread because he was hungry, and subsequently they ran over his right arm with an army jeep as a punishment from the courts?

Yep, Iran has some pretty land and buildings...

But really, you can find that anywhere. It's just a shame that we don't get world peace based on pretty buildings.

I wish we did. The people of Iran are great people to!

I wish our governments could get along, actually.

Well, we'll be "liberating" the crap outta the place if [TPTB] get their way - wait till you see it then.
edit on 14-10-2011 by SiliconJon because: changed "they" to TPTB to clarify

Nice pics thanks. It is the same TPTB that claim how much they love the planet, the animals, are the same group that spend all their time destroying the planet and everything that is on it. If anything should show what a bunch of criminal liars they are is this. While they are busy killing everyone for money and power. They are determined to destroy everything in their way. Who and what gives them the right and the power? There is no future for anything or anyone until we are rid of the NWO monsters.

Drawing a comparison between a photograph of a seagull that someone believes is a UFO, a window reflection that suddenly looks all sorts of 3 dimensional UFOish when someone uses emboss in photoshop, CGI, forced perspective, and other tricks facilitated to hoax or mislead is totally different than drawing an opinion on real world events.

Your blanket rivalry against skeptics and debunkers that seems to pop up in almost every thread you post in is insulting.

If anything, as someone that is a 'believer', it's rather remarkable that you actually question the authorities, or is it that you just pick and choose what you want to believe in on some personally arbitrary basis that has zero foundation in reason, logic, and investigation of the facts?

Skeptics and debunkers look at situations from a logical perspective, trying to find out why something looks the way it does, what it actually is or could be, or what is going on beneath the surface to cause events from a realistic perspective without having to involve chupacapra, bigfoot, ghost orbs, jesus, or aliens.
If something stinks, we'll try to find it.

If your little feelings get hurt because your favorite fantasy gets busted as a blatant fraud, we can't help that. Please try to understand that skeptics and debunkers are looking for the 'truth' too, but, we do so by trying to clear out all the fakes, mistaken identifications, hysteria, knee jerk reactions, and illusions.
If anything, you should be behind the skeptics and debunkers cheering us on because what left over that we CAN'T explain or debunk gives more solid evidence to support whatever it is you believe in.

Now, go back and enjoy the beautiful pictures of Iran.

Those pictures don't even do the country justice. A few years ago someone had a blog with hundreds of hd pics from all parts of the country and I was surprised how Iran has so many different climates/landscapes. The Persians have a beautiful country.

Thank you for this great thread and all those who appreciate the true beauty that Iran holds not only in its landscape and magnificent buildings but also the people and their culture. It is Truly a beautiful place with a deep seated culture going back to ancient times that all people of this planet should be proud of imho.

All of those things i mentioned above are some of the main reasons as to why i have a deep connection with Iran and the fact that it's government stands up to the real terrorists of the world just affirms my feelings for Iran.

Iran is as far as im aware one of the LAST countries left on this planet that hasn't been ravaged by the us gov and its allies and for that reason, aswell as the other points i made above as to why i shall do EVERYTHING in my power to support and protect her.

Did you know there are many many countries around the world who have lost their culture and history because of the us and its allies? Gone completely! I mean look at iraq some places their look like ancient archeological digs!!!!!

Go and visit some countries in latin america now and they cling onto pieces of american culture and try and make it their own because their culture and history was stolen from them along with their resources!

It brings tears to my eyes to see my brothers and sisters around the world so lost and desperate for a sense of belonging all because of the us and its allies greed!

This world was once rich in diversity and cultures and that is how it should be!
But not in the eyes of the us and its allies! They want to enslave the world and everyone in it to become a brainless lemming! Not to mention the path they choose and force others to go down is self destructive to earth and all creation!

These cultures around the world are part of our human roots and a tree cannot grow without it's roots!

May God protect Iran and her people and cultures and all those left around the world!

Peace 1 Love

I think you have me confused with the Elenin Nibiru crowds. I am a skeptic, a debunker, and a truther or whatever titles you guys want to use, it's called being "balanced", not one sided on every argument.
Most UFO videos are ridiculous but there are some that the debunkers avoid because they can't figure them out, so they seem to only comment on what they can denounce vs. a balance on different topics.

My point that seems to be misinterpreted is that I don't see these professional debunkers commenting on things like illegal wars and justification of poisoning the population and slaughtering of civilians, yet, they will tell you there are no conspiracies within the gov't and elites, which is impossible to claim if you confront the other topics I mentioned, which they avoid.

Persia has always been a beautiful place, for thousands of years.

Interesting to see this juxtaposed against the western media's image of Iran.

I don't give a (4 letter word that starts with the letter F) where you live. The fact of the matter is that Iran, like every other Arab country is run by a bunch of nut job religious extremists, especially Iran and the "twelver" running Iran. He belongs in a mental institution for his insane views and beliefs. He'll be waiting a long time for that little boy to come crawling out of his well to destroy all of the infidels.

I can't believe how many people are willing to praise a country because it looks "pretty." Its amazing how we're willing to forget the horrific crimes against humanity that happen quite often in Iran just because of a picture of a beach.

Come back to planet Earth, folks.

(Before the nutjobs reply to me in order to flame away, I don't believe we should get involved with Iran or go to war with them as they pose no threat on an international level, but Iran is a threat to Iran and frankly, its none of our business to get involved, military wise.)
