Indeed, it does seem bleak.. And it's definitely David vs Goliath here.. But it's not impossible. I don't know how we can succeed in the end but we shall see I guess.

I feel like an observer to a horror film where the ending is still yet to be determined.

Each step we take is leading us to the edge or away from it....and it appears as though things in the world are and have been getting much worse.

More people are definitely more aware....especially those of us who are not on prescription, mind altering substances. Now I am not saying I don't leave Bud Light or ingest anything in my body but I am one of few that I know who are not addicted to pain meds and or sleep aids.

Our society is definitely asleep but the more people talk the more people do become aware...on something or not.

I have to wonder though..... OWS is a start. It needs more organization and smarts that can and will out smart the money....but how?

Even if I got 100 or 1000 people to march....what will it accomplish besides me looking over my shoulder in anxiety wondering if I am a target?

We have heard stories of people who want change or speak out either commit suicide, planes crashes, drug over dose, and so on..... SO ....money is hard to take down because it is the ultimate evil/destroyer.

I have come to the conclusion that I will remain alert and be observant and things will either get better or they won't.

I am a Country girl from Tennessee struggling with the rest, trying to raise my two kids and living from cent to cent to feed and shelter us. It is HARD and I have no time to try and place us in a better way of life for them and their kids while I hustle here and there to feed them....

....I have no control AT ALL over tptb.....they have the control and I am a robot.

It has been that way since my birth and all I can do is try to NOT conform to what THEY want.

one part very important of the movie the matrix is,the machine turned us into a battery that fuels their energy.so,how do we acomplish that?working,paying taxes,compliying with rules they impose,most important is above all,the very same important to us,(work) that there, is the most important that fuels them and us,as we our self have become dependant on the matrix it self.if a nation just stoped working,for money what would hapen?hm!,alot i sapose. if the worker bees and soldier bees just stoped working for the colony,what would hapen to the queen? all alone? would she survive? so yes,the power is with in us,but its a risk involved,some might perish in the proccess.its like taking out your eye to takes out there two eyes.

Anyone who has been reading the material I post here knows I only have one real goal- to point out those damned fool conspiracy web sites you truthers are getting your information from are run by con artists and crackpots pushing out deliberate misrepresentation to make a quick buck off the conspiracy movement. The guy in the movie has David Ray Griffin's book sitting conspicuously on the shelf and David Ray Griffin is one of the most notorious hucksters of the lot. How is it "off topic" or "inflammatory" for me to point this out?

That said, I do try to be intellectually honest, so I will hold off on any further statements until I get a chance to see the whole thing.

I sincerly doubt that you could find 100 people that think 9/11 was a giant hoax perpetrated by the US government in order to rationalize military operations in the Middle East.

Not too long ago this website had a poll and I believe that something like 20% of the members of a conspiracy oriented website forum didn't believe in the conspiracy.

Looks like a lot of hard work went into your video. Great job and awsome watch, your efforts are greatly appreciated.

I don't mean to pick fights with you today, hooper, but if your guess is right (20% of members didn't believe in the conspiracy), then that would make 5,042 people who do believe in the conspiracy (6,302 members took the survey). If you misspoke, and meant that only 20% of members believe in the conspiracy, that would still be 1,260 people. So I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here.

Plus, the questions and answers were much more complex than that: www.abovetopsecret.com...

No problem, at least 7 of those signatures are from debunkers. They felt sorry for the Truthers low turn out.
I hope you do get a new independent investigation, under oath with subpoena power, that will be some serious Truther Entertainment.

The point was, the idea of "going out" and finding 100 people who believe in the conspiracy. Generally meant that if you were to leave the confines of a website forum and search in the general population that lives around a given person that you would be hard pressed to find 100 souls who hold that 9/11 was a hoax. Evidence being that even on a conspiracy dedicated website you can only get 80%.

I actually disagree with the focus of the petition personally - I think the evidence and theories of explosives being used is too muddy to use as a starting place - and I think you ask a good question, but one that's off-topic for this thread. I'll give some thought to creating a thread focused on this question (if anyone knows of one that already exists, let me know - I did a quick search and didn't see one).

I'm glad we're hoping for the same thing, even if it is for different reasons.

Sorry then; I misunderstood your point. But polls (wikipedia summary of polls) indicate that it would not, in fact, be that hard to find 100 people around you who feel that there are still lingering questions, depending on where you are and how much persistence you have (I've had enough of these conversations with people I know that I'd expect getting punched in the face a few times before getting to 100 ).

Heck, thanks to waypastvne and their six friends, we only need nine more! But anyway, I thought MamaJ was talking about the broader issues raised in the video, and not limited to 9/11 conspiracy.

It might be harder to find that many people who "hold that 9/11 was a hoax," but I wouldn't word it like that.

Yes, through necessity it contains some old material but you have professionally blended this with a lot of new footage I have not seen before.
Just a minor point, a good deal of video makers fall into the trap of ruining their videos with overloud, hideous background music, I am pleased that you, for the most part, haven't done so, I could actually hear the narrative.
