Yep! WHY can these people not see what is going on????

The OWS people have been PLAYED by Obama. He's been talking down the "FAT CATS on WALL STREET" since day one. And now everyone is all upset at the FAT CATS. Obama has engineered this with his rhetoric.

Obama has consistently said one thing, and done another. But people are lapping it up.

I absolutely agreed. I could kiss your avatar.

"OccupyWallStreet" is the main actor in a Shakespearean play, which will ultimately end on a tragic and ironic note. Even though they were warned ahead of time, they will continue their crusade down a dark road toward oblivion. When they finally snap out of their Obama obsession, they will realize that it is too late to change course.

Its "Hamlet" all over again.

"OccupyWallStreet" is sleeping with their enemy.

sorry didnt say/mean anything you were talking about.. just saying mubarak originaly scoffed at the protesters having any chance as well, and i was trying to use it in context of ows protesters recieving alot of ridicule atleast where i live.at this point i imagine fox news beams their opinions directly to some % of the masses.

though you have a point my equating americans who ridicule/scoff at the ows protesters with a guy like mubarak might be a lil unfair/exaggerated/intentionaly insulting. anyway just saying we are all "the peasants". meant no disrespect to anyone in egypt(except anyone that doesnt atleast hope for freedom/civil rights i allways mean to insult them who would be king)

If it were anybody but Grayson saying this I wouldn't be nearly as excited.. but the fact that Grayson (along with Ron Paul) is among the few on the hill that understand that our monetary problems start with the FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM makes this a great great clip.

I say let Grayson be the spokesperson. I'd trust his demands any day of the week

Sure, no problem. Keep protesting where it means nothing. I'm going back to bed, wake me up again if anyone gets serious about making any meaningful changes.

What this clown says is true enough but look at the context of his stats, there is no way you are going to get 80% of the people on the gov tit to do anything else, this is there way of life, they don't know anything else,so this looser from Flordia is useing these demonstrters like the puppets they are for his own political agenda.
These demonstrtions are a joke, most don't have a clue as to why they are there except to get payed, layed and free food oh and crap on cop car's,that purty much summed it up for the whole demonstration for me.

Heaven forbid people take their complaints directly to those pulling the strings, right? The people who benefit the most when the system succeeds AND the people who benefit the most when he system fails...the people who never actually seem to lose...the people who have the entire economic game rigged in their favor...yeah, ignore them...

So going to Wall Street and screaming "pretty please stop putting politicians in your pockets" at the ivory towers is going to accomplish ... what, exactly?

Alf will look at Ralph from their perch on high, and say "I say, those people seem to want us to stop buying politicians. We must comply, mustn't we?"

Ralph will look back at Alf and say "Oh yes! Quite!"

Then there will be a pregnant pause....

... immediately after which they will dissolve into peals of laughter. holding their sides.

I can see how that will work better than telling the politicians, who actually have the POWER to make law, to un-frack this mess, or be out of a job....

Grayson is a "progressive Democrat", so that puts him alongside with Woodrow Wilson, Obama, and the Obama administration... yeah, like this is not a political ploy...

Progressive Democrats were the ones to put us where we are right now through President Woodrow Wilson, they gave power to the Feds, and implemented the IRS as it exists today... So keep cheering for grayson...

I don't know if every occupy movement is doing this, but at the one around where I live, the protesters are going to all of the local politicians offices, and giving them a petition to sign that says they won't accept corporate money, and also won't support any legislation that allows corporate money in politics. If they don't sign it, their name will be added to a list of politicians that are corrupt or allow corruption to occur, and come next election, people will know who to not vote for.

Whether or not every occupy movement is doing this, I'm sure the idea will spread around the country and before we know it all 50 states will be doing this.

For those who don't really "get it"

I would inform you, but I'd be wasting my time and yours.... No unconditioned truth will enter a conditioned mind.

It would be futile at this time... So, enjoy the fun and games while they last.

Greetings,

Is George Soros funding the protestors, or is it re-directed (TARP/Stimulus) tax dollars?

Occupy’ Protester Want Ad: Earn $350-$650 per Week

Are these protests the transition factor to take us from freedom to a Communist dictatorship? Is this part of obama's plan for us?

This protestor is quite proudly carrying the Soviet flag,, isn't he aware that constitutional freedoms go away under a Communist dictatorship? Does he prefer tyranny, or is he just doing the job he was paid to do?

Those of you who personally know George Soros or Van Jones, what's next?

Respectfully,
Adonsa

Well, the petition idea is cute and all, and it's a step in the right direction, but what guarantees have they that the politicians aren't simply lying when they sign it? Politicians do that with disturbing aplomb...

Would it not be a bit stronger message to go by that same politician's office, and say "Look, Louie - we catch you taking corporate money form ANY corporation, including the unions, or if we catch you passing legislation to favor ANY corporation, including the unions, then you ain't working for us, and are going to be out of a job just as fast as we can get you recalled - not waiting for the next election cycle. Capiche?"

A "democratic government"? That's what the narrator of the video calls the government of America.

Read your Constitution. We are guaranteed a Republican form of government, not a democratic form.

Karl Marx, himself, wrote that "Democracy is the road to socialism". Vladmir Lenin went on to write that "The goal of socialism is communism".

Take a look back through history. You will find that the socialist experiment has been tried 87 times in countries all around the world. There are only six-or-seven countries today that still have socialist forms of government. All other experiments in socialism failed miserably.

Those who seek after socialism seek after a demonstrated failure.

The US has both Constitutional Republic and Representative democracy elements to it. If socialism is so bad then why is a socialist country bailing the US out?

Karl Marx claimed that a constitutional republic is a protective legal framework for what he considered to be "capitalist exploitation." In "Outline of the Critique of Political Economy," Marx's stated that "All the bourgeois economists are aware of is that production can be carried on better under the modern police than e.g. on the principle of might makes right. They forget only that this principle is also a legal relation, and that the right of the stronger prevails in their 'constitutional republics' as well, only in another form."

There's no guarantee, but like you said, "it's a step in the right direction". "Cute", I don't know about that one though...

I can't argue with that, it would definitely send a much stronger message. Better yet, why not give him the petition, and give him that mafia-esque threat?

As the many liberal minded folk like to say the Tea Party has been corrupted by the Koch Brothers, the Occupy Wall Street has been corrupted by the Soros and company.

The power elite always turn a negative into a positive.

I guess they didn't ruin the economy. We just gave them billions of bailout money (we as in you and me and my children and my childrens children) for no actual reason.

no wait.... they needed the money because they got themselves into a pickle. Hmm.... don't you even watch the news?
