I do believe sleep paralysis is quite a normal aspect of our biology. However I think on some occasions it reflects or causes a state in our brains that allows actual "third party" paranormal entities to take advantage and manifest themselves to our perceptions. That is just my theory, of course I can't prove it. I completely respect science and hope someday we will devise the technology and the methodology to verify and identify and better deal with the things we can only discuss in embarrassed and pseudo superstitious conjecture today.
