the only reason you get paid for working is because you are earning somebody else more than they are paying you. take this all the way up the chain, and somebody is probably making some good money. that is just how it works when you have a monetary system. deal with it. spend less time complaining and more time working hard and starting your own deal, so you can be at the top.

You need to wake up and do some research, like "who" registered occupywallstreet.org and who's REALLY behind this movement, and what they want. These people want Communism, and this OWS crap is their first step toward getting the brain dead sheep in lathered up fury.

I'll prefer a system that will give me the opportunity to make as much, or as little as I'm willing to put into my job/dreams.

To be honest I agree with high taxes on the obscenely rich. I'd say make the number a little less rigid and have it start to gradually increase after you gross 1 million, and get all the way up to 50% for anyone that made 30 million or more in one year. No one needs that kind of money. Donations would be encouraged obviously.

Also, in a real democracy, it would probably come to pass. People in that income bracket are the minority.

Yep. They even do it outside of school with T-Ball and the likes. Nobody wins. You might hurt someone's fragile feelings. It's insane. Since I got out of the Navy, I've worked at a computer, and don't get much exercise. I'm addicted to Deli Cioso burritos (local Mexican place). I'm 250 pounds now (fat bastard)! Should I get a gold medal in a marathon? Why not? Ohhhhh, the pain, it hurts my feelings. HA!

I saw this bizarre vid that totally creeped me out I can't remember if it was this thread or not but at one of these protests around the country now they had people echoing...and all the supporters think its so cool how they are doing this. It was a single leader....various ppl taking turns. The crowd would repeat what the speaker said, and then...**since clapping makes it hard for some people to be heard the crowd was told to hold their hands up and wiggle their fingers instead of applauding.

Weird enough if you ask me...but THEN the leaders were all saying things about how everyone was equal, no human being mattered more than the other....and the crowd would repeat it
