Twenty pages of this nonsense? Two or three joes that get paid on the 1st and 15th of each month from taxpayer monies are attempting to school people about the evils of Socialism? Seriously?? Every facet of the military is Socialized. Healthcare, Housing, you name it. The military is pure collectivisim and they have the balls to come here and complain that other citizens might want some healthcare, housing and food too? Unbelievable. Why don't you go earn a living providing something of value before you attempt to counsel the rest of us on its virtues.
It takes someone who's "been there" to recognise the inherent dangers and risks involved.
Why don't you join the military then, and enjoy these benefits?
Acually I do. While you've been i then you can understand the perspective of other vets.

Ha, I did and I do. Now I own a business and have both perspectives to pull from. You have no idea what your talking about.
The Soviet Union, or Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), was established under Vladimir Lenin and the Communist Party in 1922, after five violent years of revolution and civil war that overturned the imperial regime. At its height, the country consisted of 15 republics and encompassed nearly one-sixth of the earth's land mass. The USSR underwent massive changes in the 1930s and 1940s during Joseph Stalin’s brutal transformation of Soviet industry and society, which led to the imprisonment and death of millions. In the decades after World War II, the USSR and non-communist west, locked in a prolonged “Cold War,” repeatedly clashed over communist aggression and expansion in Eastern Europe, Asia and Latin America. In the 1980s, a new spirit of reform, epitomized by Mikhail Gorbachev's programs of glasnost (openness) and perestroika (restructuring), took hold in both the USSR and communist Eastern Europe. As former satellite nations broke free of Soviet control, individual republics within the USSR also struggled for independence. Unable to withstand these internal changes, the Soviet Union was formally dissolved in December 1991.

I assume you're referring to me? Service to country is not valuable to you?
I put on a uniform, body armor, a helmet, and tote around a gun making myself a target to all who wish to destroy America so that you're not the first one to take a bullet or an IED. But that has no value to you?
I don't expect you to care. Nor do I expect to be taken care of by anyone other than myself. But I think those of us who risk our lives for everyone in the country(including people like you who tell me my service has no value...You know...other than my life) probably deserve a little more than a bunch of whiny college students who have their parents paying for them while they fancy themselves 'V' from V for Vedetta.

Right and those other things work. Any examples?
Putting people in office who will end up being bought is not really changing anything.
Seems to me like the Tea Party folks are sticking to their guns.
The culture in Washington has already changed because of them.
We're talking about cutting spending, bringing the country back to fiscal health, returning to Constitutional governance, empowering the individual, and economic liberty.
If you want to change the conversation you will not be able to do it with temper tantrums and threats of revolution.
