I know alot of you are bible thumpers and can't wait till Syria goes down though for israel's sake.

Actually, it is for the sake of the world.

Because Damascus being leveled is a sign that the end is near, according to the prophecy of certain people.

Just another puzzle piece that could fall into place.

But I am taking up for Assad...
The world of the thinking people is too tired of the rethoric of the rest.
They, the West, are bombing the population out for the 'humanitarian' reasons....Please, are you crazy to believe this?

What happened in Libya was:
- preparing the attack for a long time to basically plunder and establish the power base

The process was:
- demonize the country/leader via MSM, the country you want to attack and destroy, the 'servants' are eager to lie anytime anyway
- do just the advertising campaign for the sheeple, just for the sake of it
- attack, plunder, destroy, and come back with lucrative engagements to 'renew'
- establish the presence there to be able to f#k the rest of the surrounding, and milk it for a long time

Now, Syria, or Pakistan are the next in line...
( research ' Greater Middle East).

Will you ever, after such an injustice, and now total dislike of you and your countries,
feel free to:
- work
- travel
- live

in Middle East, which btw is gorgeous and wonderful place to live, colorful, hearty, alive...

Again, to each their own.

You may think it is drivel, and I may not. You are free to make up your own mind, as am I.

Live and let live. There is really no reason for those remarks.

when people use Religion as a pretext to justify something or come into a conversation and go on about a man in the sky has written it down so it must be.

those remarks are justified.

i noticed there is a Religious forum here. why not keep your GOD comments in that area where it belongs.

anyhow my last comment on this

No one is justifying anything.

Just giving our point of view on what could possibly happen.

I notice there is no anti-religious forum. Perhaps you are not wanted here.

See what I did there?

Or how about we just go with the flow and stick to the topic at hand.

I didn't realise spouting biblical prophecies was an actual opinion.
You could train a parrot to do that and it still wouldn't actually be a valid opinion, would it? It would just be a parrot, being a parrot.

The core of Christian belief is basically hoping lots of people you dislike die and go to hell, so you can look down on them from heaven and have a self-righteous laugh.

So don't be too surprised.

You don't know a damned thing. You see hypocrits and psuedo-christians, amoung our ranks that claim to be christian yet truly they are not and you judge the whole for what they do. You yourself are a hypocrit, you act like youre better than other men yet you look down your nose at them as well. Please, just stop and spare me your self-righeous bullsh*t because you don't have to have a faith to be self righteous, atheists do it all the time
just fine.

Well it is an opinion.

You could also train a parrot to say your girlfriend is beautiful. Does the parrot think that? No, it is just repeating what it has been told without thinking.

I am giving you my own thoughts, based on research that I have done on my own. Hence, my opinion.

The more you know . . .

Assad is itching to have an excuse to bomb Israel and to usher in the Last Days. He knows that his days are few. And when Damascus is destroyed, and it will be, people will still mock what the Bible says. They will mock God until the very last minute of the very last day. Good to see you stand up for your beliefs!!

Lol, the comments of a madman throwing a temper tantrum. Here in the South we have a remedy to children who throw tantrums and kick the ground and scream because they do not get their way. That remedy is we take a peach limb and switch their little asses. Seems like Assad is overdue to get his bottom switched. I hope the innocent people that want no part in his suicidal genocide leave their cities and go into the country side so they don't get bombed for being near him.

Assad is about to lose control of his country, if you think he will not try to forumlate some kind of attack you don't know muslim extremists very well. When you put a muslim extremists' back up against the wall, he puts on his jacket loaded with 30 pounds of C4 and then kills everyone in the 3 blocks around him wether they did anything to him or not. You can't buy that kind of insanity.

One thing I will say that provides some validity to biblical comments and the like is there are certain world leaders both within Israel and the United States who have sufficient belief in scripture that they very well would consider trying to undertake events described in prophecy to try to make the promised ends occurred. I certainly have met enough people on the right who think that way.

It doesn't make the prophecy itself any more or less true than any other religious text, but it does mean there are forces actively working to make it self-fulfilling.

The thing about prophecy is this. It's going to happen either way. Self-fulfilled or not, it's in God's will for it to happen so it does. If it was not in the Lord's will for it to happen it would not. Assad knows he is sitting in the middle of Yahweh's crosshairs for threatening Israel. Assad is no doubt thinking if he is going to go down he is going to take alot of people with him. If you think he will not do it and is just bluffing, go ahead and push him and see what happens, but i can promise you he will do exactly what he said he will do. It's the nature of men, that if they are going to die that they take their killers with them "if youre going to hell, why go alone?" or so they think.

I am with gimme... The odds of ANYTHING coming out of this are slim.

Too bad it wont, It doesnt matter what we talk about. It has to do with the OP and he didnt mention a word of god so go troll somewhere else
