This is nothing more than a politically motivated action instigated by the recent attempts at Obama to divert attention away from his administration via Class Warfare.

1. You are protesting Greed and the Rich? Greed and Rich are relative. Americans - across the board - all of us - are Greedy and Rich... sorry to break it to you.

2. You are protesting Bail Outs? Again, you're protesting at the fat kids over child obesity. Go protest the source, not the symptom.

3. You're protesting Economic Inequality? Obama has fed you lies. The income divide is precisely where it is because of a liberal agenda that has destroyed the middle class. Simplistic terms: YOU CAN"T DESTROY THE ABILITY OF COMPANIES TO EMPLOY PEOPLE AND THEN COMPLAIN THEY DONT HIRE ANYONE.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ----

Those seem to just be the top three, so we can leave it there for now because as the thread title implies:

This will accomplish nothing but act as a campaign machine for the Democrats. Watch and learn children. All of you cute little neo-hippies.

It wont be long before some politicians start parading out there and using all those great campaign slogans and idealistic rhetoric that will swoon and you and make you feel so empowered and important.

This whole things smacks of "Wag the Dog"...

Obama's administration has been caught lying about Fast and Furious. They've been caught assassinating American Citizens. They've been caught committing fraud by directing millions to insolvent businesses of political contributors.

All you've done is give the MSM you all seem to despise the perfect excuse to ignore the calamity that is the White House.

.... Oh - but you did get to blog about it and probably have YouTube videos with over 2 million hits! Score on that one!

It's sad when a ATS poster is discouraging and hating on people that are actually TRYING to do something while they stay keyboard warriors.

And if it DOES actually accomplish something, will come back here and recant your words? Just askin'.

I wonder what sort of change would happen if all those protesters and the ones cheering them on were to stop cooperating with the corporate elite and stop using their credit cards and banks. Smoke and mirrors...again.

While I tend to agree that the protests will only serve to make the protesters look foolish, I have to ask why you keep starting these threads repeating the same thing. Surely one is enough?

Op's last three threads are basically bashing on Occupy Wall St.

(Second Line)

www.abovetopsecret.com...

www.abovetopsecret.com...

www.abovetopsecret.com...

And in that last one, you Full On Straw-manned their position, by posting an incorrect link to a set of false demands, claiming that those outlandish demands were Theirs....

www.abovetopsecret.com...

And you ridiculed the people who were correcting you.

Hey OP, Are you being Paid to Post on AboveTopSecret?

Can't never did do nothing. It is always easy to complain and denounce people while sitting from the comforts of home. The only reason nothing would get done is because of too many people who have an attitude no matter what one does it is wrong.

That's a silly accusation. Members take this site way to seriously sometimes.

It started all of a sudden- did someone somewhere get together and say "This is how we'll attack this thing? We'll call them kids, hippies, far left - we'll marginalize them and try to keep the older and more mainstream people from joining them."

Because then the media started up "It's pro-Obama!" "It's a new radical left!" "It's a George Soros group!" And that is the same time the crap started on this board.

You can have a diverse crowd and if you only show people that are 24 and black, you might present them as being a 20 something black movement. You neglected to show the other colors of the rainbow and ages of aquarius standing out there...

Media paints the picture they want you to see. Last night on fox, they said "Here them chanting 'Take the bridge" and they showed the crowd chanting, but guess what? They were NOT chanting take the bridge..if you listened.

It's not an accusation, it's a Direct Question.

Now there is support for you - how encouraging! So what do YOU propose people do? I take it from your stance on this that you are employed at the moment and don't have any immediate worries or concerns.

Hope it doesn't change for you because you just might have to pluck up some courage and go join the protesters but hey you will be more understanding by then!

If you are already unemployed then you really are Alice in Wonderland and need to accept that though it's a bit late - something has to be done and as nobody else is doing anything then feet on the street just might.

I say good luck to them - the American people are going to find out what it's like to go really hungry. Obesity will be a thing of the past - you watch. Perhaps when your belly is empty you will think of the way forward.

Your post actually does present a unique question and something that had previously not occurred to me. How many of these kids protesting in NY came in with nothing.or something they grew at home etc vs how many of them went out and spent money at a local coffee or sandwich shop on the way to the rally. In other words how many of them supported capitalism while protesting it?

Fine it's a silly question. Just because one member has a differing viewpoint does not mean they are paid to post here. The amount of accusations ( or questions ) thrown around concerning 'disinfo agents', paid posters etc. is staggering.

That is funny. That is what many say about the teabagger rallies.

The tea party will eventually go the way of The Know Nothings.

It isn't a mild annoyance to the overwhelming amount of Americans who agree that the rich need to pay more taxes and the tremendous wealth divide that is creating two types of people, poor and rich, needs to be rectified.

LINK

Or do you support the redistribution of wealth towards concentration of wealth?

That's where you're wrong it isn't capitalism they're protesting, it's corpoaratism and oligarcyanism? And monopolism and lobbyisms...etc. Capitalism is not under attack, they just want the puppet masters kept from buying out our politicians and close some loopholes that let the corps glean all of our resources make ridiculous profits and then strip our jobs from us all in the name of more profits (Globalism).
