Hmmm. I am a Mormon and a Libertarian. I own guns. I am conservative, pay taxes, have a job and a 401 K. Guess you got that wrong aye? I wonder what else your judgement might be lacking regarding? I didn't vote for Obama, I voted for Bush. I was misled into believe there was actually a difference. You need to take a closer look at what you are actually spouting. You are all over the place in your definitions..

Take a few philosophy classes at the community college and get back to us, aye?

Public spaces, by definition spaces paid for out of funds filled by compulsory taxation, are set aside for public use. The problem, my friend, is that this use comes with great limitations regarding rime and manner of use. We are trying to take them back without regulation. If, as they say, they are truly public, then we, as the public, have collective ownership of them. Ownership that includes discretionary use. Not use regulated by government. That makes them government spaces, right? More pedantic slight of hand to obscure original property right mythos.

You are not conservative if you believe in public ownership of all property. Owning guns does not make one conservative.
I don't need to take any philosphy classes. I know what I am talking about. I am sick and tired of communists spouting their collectivist views then when someone calls their bs they just say oh you don't know what you are talking about. You talk a good line of bull.
What you mean is you want the Proletariat to own the property and the means of production, not the govt. But of course Lenin believed the State would eventually wither away.
Also if you are against private property why do you have a 401k?
I think you must be confused. If you were a true Libertarian you would believe in private property, not common ownership of all property. You are the one who is confused. You are Mormon? Well, maybe you would do well in Mitt Romney's Massachusetts. I wont vote for him either. He gave us the State model for Obamacare.
Looks like you are a religious collectivist.

Again what public spaces do you intend to "reclaim" from the Central govt? Parks? sidewalks? What?

Private property is the right of persons and firms to obtain, own, control, employ, dispose of, and bequeath land, capital, and other forms of property.

Private property is distinguishable from public property, which refers to assets owned by a state, community or government rather than by individuals or a business entity.

Marx in The German Ideology said: Communism is "not a state of the future, but the real movement which destroys the existing state of being.".

Marx dealt with transition, change, catalyst against inherent states of inequality and injustice, not the creation of structure. It is a balance against tyranny, an anarchistic reset button allowing the wealth to redistribute naturally and locally without governmental influence. Like anarchy, it is consumed by its own instigation. It creates change. It loosens the grip of those that would enslave and e,powers the community to self elevation WITHOUT CENTRALIZED GOVERNMENT. You really need to reread thing.

How many Americans actually own the homes they live in? Is that Marxism then???

Are you trying to argue that no one really owns their homes? Well, yes in a way the excessive taxation is part of the Marxist redistribution of wealth.

So how does higher tax rates, via conservative presidents fit into the marxist redistribution?

Or perhaps you meant the mortgage? Are you referring to predatory lending? Thanks Clinton and Carter for making that a possibility.

How about blaming the banks who draft their contracts?

A progressive income tax is a way to "soak the wealthy" by taxing them at a progressively higher rate than people of lower income. So as soon as you get that better job you wanted, you get socked with a bigger tax, so you end up losing your drive to excel when you realize that working harder doesn't really get you anywhere. Please don't tell me you strive harder so you can donate more cash to govt? SS is one thing though, you pay in the system you take out of the system, so it's a bit different. That is, at least when the govt holds up it's end of the bargain...
It's still a confiscation of your wealth. The more the govt spends, the higher the hidden tax will be on the other end when inflation hits after the Fed devalues the dollar. Why do you want to give the govt more of your hard earned money to pay for things the govt deems it wants? And for things you didn't vote on even? How about all those psyops we know they do? the Black Ops? The govt contracts where they charge 2000 for a toilet? (just using that as an example everyone can relate to). Or how about vaccines laced with sterilants in brazil? Or flouride in the municipal water supplies?

Higher tax rates via Republican Presidents? Are you kidding me? YOu are spouting so much bs its making my head hurt. Excuse me while I go for the Tylenol.

Ok now, Bush spent way too much, and Michael Savage called him a fiscal Socialist. I did not vote for Bush in 04. I do not want to spend money for wars we could avoid. Don't care if it's a D or an R.

Troll? What problem do you have with it, and why would you even use the word troll? Are you that much intent on starting a shouting match with me? Kick the dog? You are just mad because you can't smack me in the face and tell me to shut up. But you are trying real hard.
What is misguided about it? What if I am a New Ager? Got a problem with that?
Blind because I don't agree with your position?

For the record I would never kick a dog over someone like you. Or a stupid argument on the Internet, but it was your idea so maybe it's what you do.

Why don't you go and Occupy the fed? Why don't you join that protest? Or are you just going to bash anyone who wants to protest from behind your keyboard? Maybe these kids are pointing their protest in the wrong direction, but maybe you right wingers should be trying to direct the movement or occupying the fed o you can just slag anyone off who has a problem with anything apart from the Tea Party.

Hold on, where did I ever say I approved of abuse of authority, or the taxpayer funded bailouts? I never did, so don't put that on me. But what I see coming out of this protest is an intense desire on the part of many (maybe not you I dont know) to attack the fundamentals of Capitalism.
I never even heard of Soros until a few years ago, but now that I know about that guy, I am always on the lookout for the haters of Capitalism. I am not for "corporatism" but I dont hate corporations just because they are a function of Capitalism.
I've been seeing a lot of terms being bandied about here with these protesters. When they say things like changing our system to a democracy, I know they mean getting rid of Capitalism and the free market economy. Because we are a Republic with democratic elections, but I hear some calling for direct democracy, and that would be a change to our Constitution.
So, you see I am on the lookout for people who want to fundamentally transform our way of life into a Socialist State.
Think abou tthis. George Soros is a Socialist, and yet he made billions off the Marketplace. And now he is using his financial clout to start revolutions. That is really an abuse of power like I never imagined.
Keep in mind he did steal from the jews and he is just fine with that.

Well enjoy your rest Wood. Anyway, who says its safer behind a monitor when Big Bro can just log everything from Menwith Hill. And even with TOR the ip can still be traced eventually to the source.

I'm not sure if this is something you're referring to or trying to express but here's is everyman's right:

Everyman's right in brief
Everyone may:

-walk, ski or cycle freely in the countryside, except in gardens, in the immediate vicinity of people’s homes, and in fields and plantations which could easily be damaged
-stay or set up camp temporarily in the countryside, a reasonable distance from homes
-pick wild berries, mushrooms and flowers, as long as they are not protected species
-fish with a rod and line
-row, sail or use a motorboat on waterways, with certain restrictions; swim or wash in inland waters and the sea
-walk, ski and fish on frozen lakes, rivers and the sea

You may not:

-disturb other people or damage property
-disturb breeding birds, or their nests or young
-disturb reindeer or game animals
-cut down or damage living trees, or collect wood, moss or lichen on other people’s property
-light open fires on other people’s property, except in an emergency
-disturb the privacy of people’s homes, by camping too near them, or making too much noise, for example
-leave litter
-drive motor vehicles off road without the landowner’s permission
-fish or hunt without the relevant permits

Essentially the practice of having all land as a public property with respect to personal space.
