Umm arent the Canadians in the War also? Maybe she should check what country she is representing and stick to her political issues instead of campaing for the wrong country. She must really be stupid. She needs a real bi*(*slap.

Tachyon, it really depends. Canada isn't in the war on Iraq, fortunately. We politely declined. As for the war on terrorism, that's another story... because, anyway, what exactly *is* the war on terrorism? Can anyone remember?

We have troops in Afghanistan, not Iraq.

Edit: thought I was missing an "h".

I sure remember 9/11 and the exact moment and place where I was when I saw it.

Tachyon - I don't think anyone will forget where he or she was when that happened. What I meant was, the war against terrorism is a diffuse war, not a focused war.

How do you define that war? Is it tightening borders and security at airports, going after Bin Laden, the Patriot Act, new passport security, or toppling regimes in the Middle East? That's what's a bit mind-boggling about this war. How do you decide who's in the war against terrorism and who's not?

Well terrorists are a complicated bunch, and we must do all those things and more. It is part of the whole war. You dont fight a war with just infantry, it takes the airforce and navy as well. Terrorism is a different kind of war, and there are many aspects of it which are being addressed.

TACHYON,

Not body can forget 9/11, but is time to move on and to leave the death to rest in peace.

Tachyon - and it's a war that can't be fought with weapons alone, because every terrorist killed becomes a martyr. As I heard one foreign policy expert in the U.S. say, "We have to understand the conditions in which terrorists are created, and eradicate those". And I think that's done through dialogue as much as through intervention.

We cannot move on until the world is rid of such vermin. This means the war will go on forever, which is ok with me. There has to be a way to tell terrorists its not worth doing this crap.

I think the american public would be suprised at the anti Bush bias from leaders of the world that never gets into the US media. I can think of many times in Oceania where America and Bush have been bashed by national leaders.

This is the legacy that Bush will leave america, but you get the president you deserve, and if you are so blind as to reelect bush then so be it. It provides fun for the rest of the world. Well those parts that America is not invading at the time of course......

TACHYON,

Well I guess US just have to eradicate the entire middle east nations, just to make you happy, when something like this happened in the world its call genocide.

Hummmm, with all the oil in the middle east if we nuke them they will probably burn for eternity, that will be a good way right just make them burn in hell.

TACHYON.

I am not trying to make fun of this but to make you understand that US can not go around killing people just because they don't like bush and his policies.

US already when into Afghanistan and took revenge. And that was ok, until this administration invaded Iraq for what? That is why bush when from hero to idiot. Not body in the world would have condemn him from bombing Afghanistan, he is been call and idiot for going into iraq and make a mess out of that country.

Marg the US is not doing any genocide. They are using intelligence to specifically pick out terrorists. We are not lining up people and shooting them row by row in the hopes that one is nailed. Heck they are put in jails and given food and shelter, something way more than they deserve.

Your are right. All Iraqi people including children, women and elders killed by US were terrorists and enemy combatant. US bombs dropped over thousands feet are accurate to pick out enemies.
